00:27House Committee on Suffrage and Electoral Reforms Chair Perzon Zia Alondo Adiong appeared to the government security agencies
00:35to ensure the safety of Ramil Madriaga, who claimed as Vice President Sara Duterte's bag man.
00:41This came after an alleged minor confrontation between Madriaga and a newly arrived detainee at Camp Bagong Diwa,
00:49which may pose a threat to his security.

01:00the personality of Madriaga to make sure na safe naman siya, na nothing would ever happen to him,
01:08especially now that the impeachment complaint against the Vice President is proceeding.
01:13The National Bureau of Investigation, or NBI, is now coordinating with the Bureau of Jail and Management and Penology, or
01:21BJMP,
01:22to ensure Madriaga's safety inside the detention facility.
01:26The NBI is also continuing its validation of the detainee, who allegedly attempted to confront Madriaga,
01:32including the reason why the said detainee was suddenly transferred from a detention facility in Pasay to Camp Bagong Diwa.
01:39Apart from the incident, Madriaga's lawyer, Raymond Palad, also revealed that someone allegedly attempted to bribe Madriaga
01:47with 500 million to 1 million pesos in exchange for his silence regarding the alleged links of the Vice President
01:55to drug dealers and offshore gaming operators who supposedly funded her campaign during the 2022 elections.
02:02According to Adyong, the seriousness of Madriaga's allegation may have been a reason of the alleged bribery attempt.
