00:00Hello, I'm Angela Scanlon and welcome to The Apprentice Unfinished Business, the show that
00:05chews over everything that Egypt had to offer, including the long-lost parsley. R.I.P.
00:11Coming up, I'll be having an exclusive chat with all three of our fired candidates.
00:15Lord Sugar lets us in on what he's really looking for now that we're halfway through
00:19the process. And I'll be joined by the Lord's aide, Tim Campbell, and radio presenter Chris
00:25Stark to discuss all the away day drama. At least no-one signed up to a pyramid scheme.
00:30This is The Apprentice Unfinished Business.
00:37It's Tim and Chris, everybody.
00:39Hey! Welcome.
00:41How are you?
00:42I'm very well, thank you very much. How are you?
00:44I'm alive and kicking.
00:45That's all we can hope for.
00:46Indeed, yeah.
00:47Right, tasks. Everyone packed their bags, headed off to Egypt. Corporate away day. You know,
00:53fan favourite, OK? What an episode. A triple firing. Discuss.
00:58Yeah, well, I just can't wait to see the smoke off Lord Sugar's fingers, how quickly and rapid
01:04it happened.
01:04Did you know that was happening?
01:05No, listen.
01:06Honestly.
01:06We never know what's actually really going to happen because the decision is ultimately
01:10Lord Sugar's around what does he want in terms of a business partner. Yes, you can make
01:15mistakes, but also, is it right for him in terms of the decision he's going to make around
01:19who he's going to work with afterwards? And we just couldn't stop looking around what
01:24was happening next. It was unbelievable. We were on the edge of our seats, let alone
01:27the viewers who were watching at home.
01:28Break neck speed.
01:30Yeah, it was the speed of it all. It was extraordinary. For me, that was one of my favourite episodes
01:35of The Apprentice ever.
01:36Because of that.
01:36Well, it had everything. Everything came in three. I mean, at one point, it was like a
01:40trilogy of MasterChef, Traitors with the Viper one, and dare I say a bit of Titanic
01:46with the kayaks. Best of album. It was incredible. And the ending, I mean, I just didn't, I didn't
01:54see that come in. It was amazing. With the shock on your face, shall we relive the moment?
01:59And for that reason, I've got to tell you, Megan, you are fired.
02:05So, Megan, sit down. I'm not finished yet.
02:07Wow!
02:10Because, Carrington, I'm not satisfied with your explanations. You're also fired.
02:15And you, I don't like people who are negative. So, you're fired also. So, all three of you
02:21are fired.
02:24Oh, my.
02:28The speed of the second to...
02:32Unbelievable scene.
02:33We're at the halfway mark.
02:35And I wanted to know from my best pal, we're getting matching tats, Lord Sugar, what he thinks
02:41and his advice for the candidates remaining.
02:44Angela, we've reached the halfway point.
02:48And let me tell you, the easy part is over.
02:52At this point in the process, I'm not looking for good performances.
02:56I'm looking for potential partners.
03:00From here on out, I'm looking for candidates who can step up and take responsibility, show
03:07proper business instincts, and most importantly, deliver results.
03:13No more excuses.
03:14It's time to prove you deserve to be here.
03:19There we go.
03:20I think what you realise, particularly when I remember being back in the house, is that...
03:2420 years ago.
03:2620-odd.
03:2620 years ago.
03:27You're good and fresh as a daisy.
03:28Wow, I wish.
03:29Botox.
03:30Anyway, the reality is that you realise that the house gets very, very quiet.
03:34Because when there's all the candidates in there, this year we've obviously had 20,
03:38when it's reduced now, you see more space.
03:41There's more room around the table.
03:42There's less queues for the toilets.
03:43It becomes very obvious that you're at the latter stage.
03:46And I think what that does is increase the pressure because you realise how close you
03:50are now to the potential finishing line.
03:51So you've got more at stake now.
03:53So I think actually increases the likelihood of mistakes because they're almost at that
03:58final stage.
03:58So I think Lord Sugar's right.
03:59The pressure's on now.
04:00He's looking for somebody who wants to invest a quarter of a million pounds in.
04:03This isn't a joke.
04:04Let's get straight into task six and the winning team.
04:06Team Alpha led by Priesh, OK?
04:08The epicentre of the chaos, it has to be said.
04:11The kitchen.
04:13What do we make of Priesh's management style?
04:16Well, I think it's energetic, it's enthusiastic, and it's slightly on the borderline of potentially
04:26collapsing, but he held it together.
04:28I think on tasks like this, you are thrown in at the deep end, literally, and you don't
04:33know what's going to happen.
04:34And for anybody to step up, I give them a big pat on the back because it is a risk,
04:38as we said.
04:39But also, you have to respond in a positive way, regardless of what happens, regardless
04:44of how much pasta gets thrown in a bin or how much spices get thrown in a curry, right?
04:49But I think for him, he was very enthusiastic about wanting to prove to Lord Sugar that he
04:53was the man for the task.
04:54I think he offers, I guess, what I might call soft power in the sense he's not all bullshit
05:01and alpha about things.
05:03He goes about things and he is busy and there is an element of chaos with it.
05:07But there is an accountability that came with that bloat that we saw today that I really
05:11respected.
05:12In fact, this is the episode that really made me see him in a slightly different way.
05:16The way he took accountability for the mistakes that happened.
05:19And I didn't think it was performative.
05:21It didn't feel like he was doing it to almost, I don't know, give himself a moment that he
05:26could hide behind almost if he got to the boardroom.
05:29Because you saw how much it meant to him when he got through.
05:33I think it comes from a genuine place.
05:35And that made me really respect him when he did that apology and fronted up to them.
05:40And dare I say it, he probably did his whole team some favours by doing that.
05:45Some roles were slightly not quite as well executed.
05:49Maybe.
05:50Shall we recap?
05:52Where's the rest of the parsley?
05:54The leaves.
05:55The leaves, yeah.
05:56We need them.
05:57That's what we needed.
05:59I've thrown them away.
06:00What did you throw away?
06:01He threw the parsley away.
06:02I threw the leaves.
06:03I thought you meant, you said cut them off.
06:05Yeah, I threw the stems away.
06:06Oh, you're kidding me.
06:07Where's it?
06:08In the bin?
06:08Yeah.
06:10I put them in the bin.
06:12See?
06:13Still smiling though, aren't they?
06:15Like beautiful harmony.
06:16Listen, I think everybody needs a dose of charisma in their life because when you're faced with
06:20a catastrophic feature, they're like, oh, okay, yeah.
06:23Okay.
06:23Well, almost quite out of character for her.
06:25I think she'd be like, I'm going to fire myself.
06:27Yeah.
06:28I think what you've got to realise with that is that these candidates aren't brought
06:33on for MasterChef, right?
06:34Like you mentioned, they're brought on to run an event, but what we're looking for is their
06:40adaptability in difficult scenarios.
06:42And Levi has never been in their kitchen.
06:44The second he thought I'd call them Leaves, I knew it was gone.
06:46It was in trouble.
06:47We were in trouble.
06:47Oh, yeah.
06:48Leaves was that with you.
06:49Leaves was the red flag.
06:50Green flag.
06:52Now, Karishma, Priesh, Levi, they battled it out in the kitchen.
06:55On the other side, we had Conor and Pasha and Lawrence having a whale of a time in the
07:00Egyptian desert.
07:03Tim.
07:03Yes.
07:05You were on tour with Team Alpha.
07:06It looked glorious.
07:09It was phenomenal.
07:10Being given the opportunity to go and find out the cultural history was really wholesome
07:15for, I think, for some of these candidates.
07:17And they were entrusted by the local individuals to pass on that information to the representatives.
07:23Yes, Conor put his own spin on his variation of the vampire.
07:26I was going to say, there wasn't much history now.
07:27There wasn't a huge amount of history there.
07:29But do you know what?
07:30The corporate client had fun.
07:32And yes, they were sold facts and fun.
07:35And they may have got a bit more of one or the other.
07:37But what they ultimately did, though, I think, which was impressive, they kept in mind that
07:41the customer is always right.
07:43And if they make the customer happy, they can actually get closer to their prize of winning.
07:48And I think that was a good thing.
07:49And I think, Pasha, to your point about maybe leaning a little bit more to the fun, but
07:54it was very intentional.
07:55She was like, it's a corporate away day.
07:57Ultimately, what we want to do is give people a great experience and some joy.
08:01Oh, yeah.
08:01Speaking through the boogies, I wanted to be on one.
08:03Yeah.
08:04And I just thought the energy was entirely different with them as well.
08:07And you saw it.
08:07They're going through.
08:08They're chanting.
08:10They're shouting.
08:11And I mean, you tell me for the corporate away days, I think you're right, Angie, is
08:14the balance of fun, the facts, even if they thought they wanted that before they went
08:20there, when they were pitching for the money, I think the reality is when they're there and
08:24they're in the moment, they wanted fun.
08:26Yes.
08:26And I felt they delivered on that.
08:29Right.
08:29It is time now to welcome our first fired candidate, Carrington.
08:34But before we dig into the potatoes, let's rewind to when the chips were well and truly down.
08:39Guys, I'm really sorry.
08:41They sent back all the potatoes.
08:42All of it was really cold.
08:44It was a bit frozen.
08:45In the middle, it was a little bit hard.
08:47Oh, my God.
08:50Welcome, Carrington.
08:54Thank you so much for being here.
08:56Now, we'll get to potatoes later on.
08:59How was it watching that task back?
09:01Do you know what?
09:02It was bittersweet because I got fired.
09:05Yes.
09:06But it was a good task, I think.
09:09The other candidates were full of praise for your cooking.
09:14Was that something you did a lot in the house?
09:16Because they seemed like absolutely zero question.
09:19I cooked a lot in the house.
09:21I think task free.
09:22I made pasta.
09:24I had pasta at four in the morning before we ended up on task.
09:26Every single evening I was cooking.
09:28So I was a bit confused when my food came a bit off key.
09:31But yeah.
09:33Yeah.
09:33And did having the full team backing, you would imagine that kind of, you know, lifts you?
09:39Or did it actually add to pressure the assumption that you could nail that?
09:43I think I had a bit of bravado.
09:46I thought I was going to do a good job.
09:48So I was like, yeah, I'm chill.
09:49I think Ruffin is like, do you need help?
09:51I was like, no, I don't need no help.
09:53Like, I've got this on my own.
09:54Trust me.
09:55I think the issue was that the PM team were two hours late and the corporate clients were not impressed.
10:03Their bums were wet.
10:04Their clothes were a bit soggy.
10:06Like, they were not happy.
10:07They were absolutely raging.
10:08So did you not start the potatoes?
10:11Because this was what they kept saying is that if they were going to be late, then surely the things
10:15would have been over.
10:16Yeah, the maths is hard to math.
10:18I felt like that was a bit of a redundant point because if you're two hours late, I'm not going
10:22to leave the stove on.
10:23Like, you would turn it off, right?
10:25And it was triple cooked potatoes.
10:27I cooked it one, two, three.
10:29Did you though?
10:29The third one.
10:31Hey.
10:35The third cook wasn't a substantial enough cook, evidently.
10:39So I think because they were two hours late, we put a pause on all the cooking.
10:43And when they came back, I was trying to do it really quickly.
10:47So the corporate client were happy, we didn't get any refunds.
10:50So I rushed my job.
10:51And essentially, that was where it all went left.
10:55You got nailed for it, obviously.
10:57Kieran also presented, you know, bland fish.
11:03Definitely subpar.
11:04Should he have been pulled up more on that?
11:06Do you know what?
11:07I don't think Kieran should have been pulled up on it because he did a great negotiation.
11:11And that's where I think I went wrong.
11:13And I think even Baroness Brady said that I didn't do anything else substantial on the task
11:17to have a saving grace.
11:20And the reason being because I thought I was going to make a great dish.
11:23So I didn't think I needed to do like the bells and whistles.
11:26My potatoes are going to be unbelievable.
11:28I thought, I've got this in the bag.
11:31Like, make the potatoes, Lord Sugar, love it.
11:33Done.
11:33Yeah.
11:34Yeah.
11:34And from the outside, Rothner looked like she was running a tight ship.
11:39But she was a sub-team leader.
11:41And the fish was an issue, as were the potatoes.
11:45She was saved, obviously, by her glorious dessert.
11:48But that's quite tricky when, you know, the stuff that ultimately took you down was on her watch.
11:54It's quite hard because Rothner would have been responsible for whatever the output was.
11:58But I think the challenge is, as you've rightly identified, you were so confident.
12:02And we loved your confidence throughout the whole of the series, right?
12:05It was one of the things that was really shying about who you are as a person.
12:09As well as the facial expressions.
12:12Her face totally.
12:13This was a real episode for those as well.
12:15Oh, I was like this.
12:16It was the face palm emoji in real life, right?
12:20In real life.
12:21But I think the thing, when you put all of your proverbial eggs in the potato basket
12:25and they don't come back to root, it's sometimes difficult to leave yourself with no room for manoeuvre, right?
12:31But, Tim, you know how we talked about how Priya sort of just owns that mistake?
12:35Yes.
12:35I felt you did as well.
12:36I felt your face when you saw, when they brought back and were like, sorry, you know, none of them.
12:42I could see how much it hurt you.
12:44You know, you really cared.
12:47And so I guess you're right.
12:49It's a shame that you got judged on a potato.
12:54It's funny how life pans out.
12:57I mean, how are you with potatoes now?
12:59Are you okay?
13:00I'll be honest with you, right?
13:02I can't make potatoes anymore.
13:03Not because I'm going to, like, make them raw, but because it's traumatic.
13:08You're triggered by them now.
13:10I'm honestly, like, yeah.
13:10I'm so sorry for your loss.
13:13Absolutely devastating.
13:15There's a redemption story here somewhere.
13:17There's got to be.
13:17Along the line.
13:18Do you think so?
13:18Yeah, I reckon you start a chip business or something like that.
13:20No, no, no, no.
13:21No, no, too soon.
13:23No, yeah, I need to heal a little bit more.
13:25Too soon, too soon, too soon.
13:26Yeah, healing.
13:27Triple firing, Carrington.
13:29Still not well.
13:31Did it come as a shock to you or could you kind of feel it?
13:35I think that because, like I said, I didn't have any other redeeming qualities on that task.
13:40So nothing could have held me in that moment.
13:44And so when Lord Sugar fired Megan and told her to, like, sit back down, I was like, oh, no.
13:49You could see a flash in your face where you're like, oh, no, I feel like this might be it.
13:54Yeah.
13:54But I think because we all got fired, it hurt a little less, if that makes sense.
13:59And also halfway mark.
14:01You got to the halfway mark.
14:02That's a massive feat.
14:04And you got stuck into every task.
14:05You brought a lot of laughs and a lot of energy.
14:08What was your biggest lesson from the whole process?
14:12Um, I would say that delegation's good.
14:16But also, if you've got an idea, do it yourself as well.
14:20I think in the Egypt task, we were talking about getting the final activity for a cheaper price.
14:26I said to Kieran, no, you could do it.
14:28You could do it.
14:28Why didn't I say, how about I leave this negotiation and decide something else?
14:32But it's because, obviously, I thought I was chef of the year.
14:36Do you know what I mean?
14:37It was so lovely watching you.
14:38You honestly absolutely lit up the screen and brought so many laughs.
14:42Best of luck with everything.
14:44Thanks for having me.
14:47OK, gang, let's bring in our next fired candidate, who sadly saw their Lord Sugar apprenticeship start to crack in
14:53the kiln.
14:54But before we bring her in, let's remind ourselves of Andrea getting stuck into the task.
14:59Oh, ooh, an expert here.
15:03Oh, wow.
15:04Handed a spending ban by Meghan.
15:06Oh, wow, Andrea, that is amazing.
15:08Andrea.
15:09Done it all by myself.
15:11The rest of her team give Pottery a spin.
15:14Straight from her ghost moment, Andrea.
15:20Magical.
15:21We know you're a midwife, you're a successful letting agent, not to mention unbelievable at boiling eggs.
15:27Did you know that Pottery was one of the many skills?
15:30That is a skill that I didn't recognise in myself.
15:33No, and I didn't get any help whatsoever.
15:35I could tell.
15:36Did it all on my own?
15:36Did you really?
15:37Yeah.
15:39You've got new hair.
15:40I have.
15:41And we're into it.
15:42Yeah.
15:42It's fabulous.
15:43Was this like trauma, you know, you get rid of a man, you change your hair.
15:47I didn't want anybody to recognise me, you know.
15:50I'd be that popular, you know, everybody would be going, hi, can I have the autograph?
15:53I have the cover now, I have the cover.
15:54Now I'm OK, nobody recognises me, I'm fine.
15:57Let's talk about the task, the firing.
16:03Ultimately, the suggestion was, or the thought was, that you were negative and bringing negativity or an air of it
16:12to the team.
16:13Yeah, I'm probably one of the most positive people that you'd meet.
16:17I'm really, I were really positive in the house.
16:19The other candidates knew about that.
16:21It's tactical.
16:22And the thing is, in business, I always think, you know, you can't keep going and say, we're going to
16:27do this, going to do that.
16:28I'm going to point out the things that, well, this might not work or that might not work.
16:31You know, that sort of thing.
16:32And all I was doing was being loyal to the project manager and she didn't want to do the pottery.
16:39But equally, if you watched it, I did say, you know, even though she'd said not to do it, the
16:46majority wanted to do it, so I would go along with it.
16:49There were many instances where over the course of the weeks, not just in this task, where I think Andrea
16:54was pointing out,
16:55had seen potential pitfalls being kind of perceived as you not going with people.
17:03Actually, weirdly, this episode's got me thinking, so thank you.
17:07Because I really relate to you because I sometimes feel that I do that a fair bit.
17:12And where someone might say it's negative, I think of it as, well, you're the person that's spotting the iceberg
17:19before you hit it.
17:21You potentially save so many situations by actually offering another voice to conversations.
17:26Sometimes actually stepping up and saying those things, it's quite hard to do in a group dynamic, I find.
17:31Yeah, and I mean, the pottery might not have gone down well.
17:34They might have absolutely hated it.
17:35We got it all over us clothes, you know, like they might have been like, we didn't want to do
17:39this.
17:39And, you know what I mean?
17:40And I've made the point of, should we do it?
17:42Should we not?
17:43Have a think about it.
17:44It's going to cost us.
17:45Could we put a free event on?
17:46Also, I'm thinking about outside the box.
17:48They took the easy route.
17:49Yeah.
17:50They didn't want to put the effort in to do an activity.
17:52I think the good thing is that you voiced your concerns, but you then threw yourself 100% in the
17:58task anyway.
17:59I did, yeah.
17:59It's not like you stood back and then didn't do anything, and that would have been negative.
18:02Yeah, yeah.
18:02But I do think it was so palpable, that loyalty.
18:07And everyone was kind of getting whipped up in the idea of the pottery for obvious reasons.
18:11It looked like a lot of fun.
18:12But you were saying, Megan has explicitly said not to do this.
18:18Megan is the PM.
18:19Like, I'm loyal to our leader.
18:22And that loyalty, I feel, was actually not rewarded at all.
18:26I spoke like a true boss.
18:27And that's the thing.
18:28When you run your own business, you expect people to follow your direction.
18:32Yeah.
18:32And it's quite bold to all go against that.
18:35100%.
18:35Tim, backing your PM in business, you know, when is it right to just blindly follow and when is it
18:43right to challenge?
18:45I think it's never right to do either blindly.
18:47I am very much of the old school way is that if you are employed by somebody and they've given
18:52you a direction, you should follow that.
18:55However, the only caveat is that if there's something that is going against your values, health and safety or whatever,
19:00you should put your challenge forward.
19:02But don't just leave it there.
19:04Come up with a solution that mitigates for the risk that you identify.
19:08Loads of people are great, aren't they?
19:10Like, spotting what's wrong with stuff.
19:11But where the real skill is, I think, in an entrepreneur, a business owner, a leader, is saying something's wrong,
19:17but here's a better suggestion.
19:19Yeah.
19:20Being the last to go in the boardroom, did you think, OK, two down, I've just about survived this?
19:27No, no, not at all.
19:28Well, I knew how many people were left in the process and they'd only had a couple, I think, or
19:35one double firings.
19:37We'd got to get, you know, shut us on.
19:41And...
19:41I know.
19:42Yeah.
19:43That's great.
19:44Sweep them out.
19:44Just sweep them out.
19:45We're halfway through the process, week six.
19:48Now is the time to let's...
19:50Let rip.
19:51Yeah.
19:51But three?
19:53Three.
19:53I wouldn't...
19:54But Lord Sugar must have thought that we needed to go.
19:57Yeah.
19:58And as Dan said on the end, thank you, Dan, we're getting rid of some of the dead weight.
20:03Thank you very much.
20:05Dan was a very good friend of mine in the house.
20:08There was a past tense there, did you note that?
20:09Oh, was it?
20:12Nicely spotted.
20:15Apart from your historic friendship with Dan, any highlights in the process?
20:21The highlight for me, and you'll see from my face when you've watched the first episode,
20:26is sitting in front of Tim, Baroness Brady and Lord Sugar.
20:29And I wanted to go to Lord Sugar.
20:31Hi, it's me.
20:32Hi.
20:33Because I've watched every single episode for 19 years.
20:37And I thought, he knows me.
20:40Why is he not looking at me like, hi, it's Andrea?
20:43Yeah.
20:44Yeah, and my legs were shaking under the table.
20:48It was just...
20:49I was just absolutely in awe.
20:51It was amazing.
20:53Well, listen, it's been an absolute joy to watch you.
20:55Thank you so much, Andrea.
20:56Oh, thank you.
20:57Cheers and best of luck with everything.
20:59Well done.
20:59Brilliant.
21:03Now, I have said the fired candidates are like buses, aren't they?
21:06You wait for one and then three come along at the same time.
21:08So it is time now to meet our third and final candidate, Megan.
21:13But first, let's revisit the moment that she decided conversation was on the menu, not just service.
21:19Oh, yeah.
21:21Dipping into the party, Megan.
21:25Hi.
21:25Would it be possible, it's just that we've got quite a few that haven't eaten,
21:29and whilst Megan's fabulous, she's spending quite a lot of time of chatting.
21:33And we've got a bit of press on the top and a bit of edible flowers, just to match my
21:36outfit.
21:38So it would be possible to get the food out a little bit quicker?
21:40No worries, she's a social butterfly.
21:41She loves talking to you.
21:42Fabulous, thank you so much.
21:43I'll grab her, she'll be out of your hair.
21:46Megan, the social butterfly has landed.
21:51Oh, having a ball there out front, is that just you and your element?
21:55Yeah, that's definitely me.
21:56I think when my family and friends were watching that, they just thought, that is just so me.
22:01That's her.
22:02Where does this week's task live in your memory?
22:06PM?
22:07Yeah.
22:07And essentially fired for over-promising and under-delivering, really.
22:13But what did you think of your performance?
22:16So I have done quite a lot of events in the past.
22:1925.
22:1925.
22:20To be specific.
22:21To be specific.
22:22On paper, this is the perfect task for me.
22:25But what I usually do is I work with brands, and they're like makeup brands, beauty brands,
22:30and it's a lot of influencers, so it's a lot of fun events.
22:33This was very corporate for me.
22:35And if I had taken influencers on this trip, they would have absolutely loved it.
22:39This would have been an amazing trip for them.
22:41And I think the clientele, can't push it that it's the clientele's fault,
22:44because obviously we did our end of the bargain.
22:47But it was just a different event for me.
22:49I like this.
22:50Blame the clients.
22:51No one's done this yet.
22:53Why not?
22:54That's a new angle.
22:55Go on.
22:56New angle.
22:57Do you think the suggestion of, or the promise of luxury,
23:02or even maybe just the mention of luxury,
23:05and then hitting at a more mid-range might have been confusing for them?
23:10I get why it would have been a bit confusing.
23:11I think I really didn't want to say luxury.
23:14I've watched a show before, and I know when people say the word luxury,
23:18it sets expectations very high.
23:20But also I had to kind of use that word, because it was a luxury client.
23:23I couldn't not use that word for them.
23:26So it was really difficult.
23:28I think it's a challenge.
23:29People face this in business all the time.
23:31You have to rightly, in a sales negotiation, anchor somebody at a high price.
23:36But when you get to the price where they've settled an agreement,
23:39you have to be very realistic of what the expectations are.
23:43And I think that's the challenge.
23:44The expectations were relatively high.
23:46Yeah.
23:46And then the service at the end wasn't meeting, that was it?
23:49It was relatively low, I would say.
23:51I was trying to be nice.
23:54You were absolutely adamant that the pottery was a no-go.
23:59And yes, pottery.
24:01Yeah.
24:02We had.
24:03So obviously I think if the kitchen went well and it all ran smoothly,
24:07I would have been annoyed if we did the pottery.
24:09Just because that could have been the breaking point of us maybe losing the task,
24:13that bit of extra money.
24:15But because the kitchen didn't go well, I am, I know it sounds bad,
24:20but I am glad that Kieran did go with it in the end now.
24:22Because it went so bad, they needed something that lifted them up at the end.
24:26And that's what I've always tried to do with my events.
24:28I always want to make sure that they go home and have a good time.
24:30And if they went home after the food, they wouldn't have.
24:35Maybe it would have gotten more of a refund, I don't know.
24:36But that's great.
24:37It's so good to hear you say that because that's so gracious.
24:39And also, I think weirdly in this process, it sometimes seems as a viewer
24:45that it's hard for people to stand up and go, I got it wrong.
24:49And especially if it's to someone else's credit, Kieran, in this instance.
24:54So fair play to you for saying that, actually.
24:57But you're here.
25:00Yeah, maybe I've not.
25:01Maybe that's...
25:03You're right.
25:04What lessons have been learned?
25:07When you got fired, you were the first to go.
25:10Did you sense that he was going to go rogue?
25:13So when I got fired, I kind of seen it coming
25:16because I didn't make a profit.
25:17I was the PM, so I kind of knew it was coming.
25:20But when he tells me to sit back down,
25:23because I've never been fired by a little chugger before,
25:26I thought he was going to sit me down and be like,
25:27he's from home truce.
25:29Like, you need to do this, you need to do that.
25:31I didn't realise he was going to say,
25:32you're fired, you're fired.
25:34I was just so shocked at the time.
25:35You'd want a little feedback session.
25:38A bit that we don't normally see you be.
25:40Yeah, like it wouldn't be aired.
25:41It'd just be like off TV, yeah.
25:44You made it halfway.
25:45Did you make any close bonds in the process?
25:47Yes.
25:48I've actually made a best friend from it, Pasha.
25:50Yeah, I'm really close to Pasha.
25:52She was, we didn't do many tasks together, actually.
25:55We kept quite separate.
25:57But yeah, we're really good friends from it now.
25:59And you also brought a little,
26:01I mean, it's not like Desert Island,
26:02so you can bring some stuff into the house.
26:04And you brought in something that was quite well appreciated.
26:08Yeah, so I actually brought in like a streaming set
26:11for the cinema room that we had.
26:13And I actually think people might have been more upset
26:15that that was going than when I was going.
26:17You took it back with you, didn't you?
26:18Yeah, because I had to bring it back with me.
26:20So yeah, I don't know what they were more upset about.
26:21I'm going, I'm taking my streaming set with me, yeah.
26:25Come back!
26:26It was good that.
26:26We had a few karaoke nights of that.
26:28It was good, yeah.
26:29Did you not try and almost suggest to other people
26:32that they can't bring you back because that would happen?
26:34I mean, I could have at the time.
26:35I should have done that, yeah.
26:37OK, Egypt is in the past.
26:39It is time to move on to task seven, gang.
26:42And next time, the candidates will be trading strategy
26:44for stamina and facing a gamified fitness challenge.
26:48Here's an exclusive peek to get you ready for the action.
26:52I personally feel like it sounds like you've got
26:54a little bit more gaming experience.
26:55I know it's not exactly this.
26:56I don't have a gaming experience.
26:57Just because I've played a game doesn't mean I'm a gamer.
27:00It's still a lot more than what I have done.
27:03You baked a bread, I wouldn't call you Mr Kipling.
27:05Yeah, but, OK, Rajan, there's actually no need for that.
27:08I'm not a gamer, I'm not a gamer.
27:09OK, look, I'm just going to say to you,
27:10I do feel like, I understand you're getting frustrated.
27:14All I'm asking is, this isn't my area either,
27:16but we're all trying.
27:17Absolutely.
27:17We need your input.
27:21Good, well, that's going to go well.
27:24That's quite explosive, isn't it?
27:26Wait till you see.
27:27Wait till you see.
27:28Mr Kipling, hey.
27:29Tim, give us a little teaser.
27:30I know you're dying to speak.
27:33Your face is saying things that you can't.
27:37I can't let out what the joy you're going to see.
27:40But I think one of the things that we always are cognizant with Lord Sugar,
27:44he's always looking to see how business develops.
27:46And one of his big things is technology.
27:48So bringing the established industry of fitness together with technology
27:53is what is at the heart of this task.
27:55And the interpretation is very interesting from the candidates.
27:59The interpretation is very interesting.
28:03That is it, everybody.
28:04Thank you so much.
28:05Chris, Tim, Megan.
28:08Brilliant.
28:11We have come to the end of another task.
28:14Come back next time for more Unfinished Business on BBC Two,
28:17iPlayer or BBC Sounds,
28:19straight after The Apprentice,
28:20where our candidates will be powering up,
28:22dodging obstacles and trying to avoid game over.
28:25I'm Angela Scanlon.
28:27Goodbye.
28:30Sisters, you love to hate them.
28:32And the Walsh sisters are no different.
28:34Heartbreak, grudges and glorious chaos on BBC iPlayer.
28:38And first there was love languages.
28:40Now Sophie and Christine introduce us to apology languages,
28:44situationships on BBC Sounds.
28:55You must admit,
