00:00And David I think we're looking at a couple of things going forward in terms of where does this go
00:04and how does this how does this end and it seems to me that there are two critical factors to
00:10look at markets and munitions markets where are the oil markets where's the stock market where's the bond market I
00:17know President Trump is very attentive to those and if they go in a southerly direction and stay that way
00:24or in the case of oil in the northernly direction that's going to be possibly a limiting factor then munitions
00:30there's a there's really a race on to figure out who expends their munitions first and fastest the Iranians put
00:39us in a position where we've used up a lot of interceptors to to deal with defense or even our
00:45offensive missiles to take out their their launchers or conversely did they run out and we still have what we
00:51need.
00:52I again I don't know the the numbers here I'm not privy to that but it is something we have
00:56to be very very attentive to because these things are not in infinite supply.
01:01The production times are very long and of course we're also using various in many cases very expensive weapons to
01:06take down twenty thousand dollar drones.
01:08That's not a good equation if you keep that going over time.
01:11What I'm worried about one of the things I'm worried about this gets to the second and third order consequences
01:15is we so deplete our arsenal and it takes a long time to rebuild it that that puts us in
01:21a disadvantageous
01:22position when it comes to say a China or Russia all of those things need to be factored in.
01:27And again it's one of the reasons why if you're going to undertake something like this you've got to make
01:31sure that you've you factored all of that in.
01:33And again it really should start with explaining to the American people why you're doing something why it's necessary.
01:40Why now.
01:40Do you see an off ramp anywhere at this point.
01:43I do in the sense that one as I said I think the off ramp and if we'll be governed
01:49by this question of munitions and markets and then what is that off ramp.
01:53I think the the president may simply declare victory.
01:56He'll say got rid of the the Ayatollah.
02:00We diminished or degraded or destroyed their their nuclear program again again.
02:05We did the same thing to the missile program.
02:08We did the same thing to the Navy and as to the regime well over the Iranian people good luck
02:14to them hope they succeed and if they don't it's their fault if they do we'll we'll take the credit
02:20how Iran response to that remains to be seen.
