00:28And are you saying that they will always be able to close it again, even if the U.S.
00:33continues a blockade, even if the U.S. sends more military assets to the area, even if the
00:38U.S. wipes out even more Iranian military assets?
00:41Well, certainly we can do that, but it would come at enormous cost to us.
00:48And the Strait, as I think everybody has now seen on a map, is a very narrow channel.
00:53And along the coastline are Iranian military assets.
01:00And we have all seen both in the war in Ukraine and now in the Middle East, drone technology
01:06has changed how wars are waged.
01:10And so Iran will always have capability.
01:13And yes, there is no question that President Trump has diminished Iran's capability, has
01:22destroyed their Navy, but not their fast boats, not their drone technology.
01:27They haven't bombed away their nuclear knowledge.
01:30Yes, they have pushed the highly enriched uranium underground, but they have not bombed away all
01:37of Iran's knowledge, and it may take them time to reconstitute their missiles, their
01:42Navy, their nuclear program.
01:45All of that may be true, but I think they will try to do so.
