Marcos inspects new Kamuning footbridge and busway
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on March 5, 2026 inspects the new EDSA Kamuning footbridge in Quezon City. Accompanied by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and their son William Vincent, Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez and Public Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon, the chief executive first scaled the old 'Mt. Kamuning' footbridge which he ordered to be tore down last year. The new footbridge, which was opened to the public on March 4, also features a wheelchair lift and elevators for commuters with mobility issues. It likewise gives easier access to the EDSA busway. It was designed to function as a seamless, intermodal access facility improving commuter safety, accessibility, and transfer efficiency along EDSA.
