00:14guy like A.J. Brown? If there's an option on the board to keep Diggs, sign Pierce, and overpay for
00:21him, I would prefer to go that route instead of trading for A.J. Brown because I want to use

00:26draft capital on the offensive line. Where are you going to find it? You have to draft and develop
00:31it. That's just the way it is. So if the option presents itself to spend money on a receiver,
00:37even a receiver who I don't think is perfect in Pierce, I would so much rather direct my draft
00:42capital towards the line because I think that's the way you have to go about it in the NFL.
00:46This is the option I want to take. I want to go the A.J. Brown route for sure. I
00:51would rather bring
00:51in a guy that's established that I know, that the coaching staff knows. I understand that there's
00:56the knee issue there. I get all that, but I would rather bring in a guy that you have
01:00an existing relationship with. Number one, I mean, that blueprint right there in and of
01:05itself worked so well for them when it came to free agency and some of the guys that they
01:09acquired last offseason. I'm not against continuing that trend. And if you have a guy that you
01:15know that you're bringing in, that you have that existing relationship with, I think that's
01:18a huge win right off the bat for the New England Patriots in terms of what you know that
01:22he's going to bring and how he's going to mesh in that locker room. The production, obviously.
01:29And the production, by the way, we talk about the terrible quarterbacks that, you know, clearly
01:33Alec Pierce has had to go with. And Tannehill is a cut above that for sure and was a cut
01:38above that. Jalen Hurts, cut above that. But I do put Drake May in a different class in terms
01:44of the quarterback there too. So I think you're going to get some elevated production. I think
01:47you're going to get a bump for a guy that was really unhappy with his situation last year
01:51in Philadelphia. Now, if you want to have a conversation about why is a guy that is fresh
01:56off a Super Bowl so unhappy in that existing situation when he's competing for a back-to-back
02:02Super Bowl run, that's a fair argument to make. But clearly was unhappy and wants a fresh start.
02:06So I think you're going to get a rejuvenated AJ Brown, somebody that's going out there looking
02:10to prove something as well. So this is a guy I would overpay for. Having said overpay, the
02:15Quinn and Williams type deal, no. I'm not doing that. I'm not doing a first and a second
02:19for him. But if it's a first-round pick, if it's your first-round pick this year, and
02:24that's the deal that you can get done, I'm doing that over Pierce.
