00:00I think we did. I think obviously we're disappointed with conceding so late. I thought generally
00:28today after going to go down, I thought our reaction at that point was superb. We get
00:34ourselves back in the game. Second half, I thought it was superb, took the game to Spurs
00:37and we get our nose in front. And at that point, of course, you know the dynamics of football
00:45momentum. They go and commit a lot of men on the top line, centre-halves coming on into
00:50the box and they obviously get an equaliser, which was disappointing for us really. But
00:57big improvement today for sure. Another game where there was large elements where we've
01:04improved drastically and that's pleasing.
01:06The win just eludes you, doesn't it?
01:08It does, yeah. At this present moment in time, for sure. It was only four or five weeks ago
01:16I was hugely critical of this team in terms of us at Brighton away. We've reacted in an
01:22incredible way. The improvement for us as a team, we went to Man United away at the beginning
01:29of the season, lost narrowly to a penalty 3-2. Liverpool here, we lost narrowly 1-0 and Tottenham
01:36at the beginning of the season when we lost comfortably 3-0. We've improved, we've picked
01:41three points up of all these teams. So, there is improvement but there's no denying totally
01:45that we need to now turn them draws into wins really. And today, for being so close that you
01:51would have hoped that would have been the case, we just fell a little bit short back end.
01:55Is it getting harder and harder for you to lift these players as the game start to run out?
01:58No. No, definitely not. No, 100 per cent it's definitely not. And yeah, I'm conscious of that.
02:07For sure, I'm conscious of it. For sure, coming out of Brighton after seven defeats or eight defeats
02:14of what it was, a young group facing certain challenges and certain adversity which they
02:19probably never experienced, I was seriously worried about that. But you only have to come
02:24and watch this team and I think anyone watching us today, the predicament and the situation
02:29we're in, that didn't look like a team lacking confidence, lacking belief, lacking resilience.
02:35They stood up and then they faced up and just a bit of a hammer blow at the end there.
02:44Alright Scott, after a nervous first half, definitely a more positive second half. What did you say
02:49to the players at the past half?
02:52Well, to be honest, even the first half, like, momentum and swinging in football is constant
03:00and we're playing against the incredible team, which I think you'd all admit that we're playing
03:06against Spurs with huge quality. At times, they're going to take the game off you. And like I said,
03:12I thought we had our moments in the first half. Second half, we changed a couple of things in terms
03:20of showing the players at half-time in terms of how they were and I thought we were brilliant
03:24second half for sure. So, yeah, it's the Premier League and people don't want to hear it.
03:31Probably the fine margins of the Premier League and the quality of what you face.
03:34Yeah, it was just disappointing. We didn't get the three points.
03:38And how are the players feeling now in the ten?
03:41I think we're disappointed. Of course they are. They're disappointed that they've worked so hard.
03:47They got themselves back in the game and we just didn't quite hold on to the back end really.
03:54So, there's a disappointment there, but nothing what this group haven't faced before
03:59and nothing that this group hasn't faced and reacted to in the right way.
04:04So, we keep fighting because that's what we are and we keep moving.
04:08Cheers.
04:09OK, thank you.
04:10Thank you, guys. Thank you.
