00:10And Mike Vrabel has articulated that he would do that.
00:13He doesn't want the players to be self-sacrificing,
00:17but also make sure that they, as a team,
00:20are doing what's best for those guys and their families.
00:23There could come a time, and the reason I'm bringing this up is,
00:27I saw the franchise numbers last week.
00:30It's $21.5 million to franchise a corner.
00:35That's an unbelievable amount of leverage the Patriots would have
00:38if they come to an impasse with Christian Gonzalez.

01:21But it is part of the equation when you're looking at the Patriots
01:25and what they want to extract.
01:26And it's been a very loving kumbaya existence for the Patriots
01:34since Mike got here.
01:35And guys overachieved and overperformed their contracts.
01:38We are into the business side of the season now.
01:40And to practically speak about how the team stays together
01:45and maintains its momentum is to look at the business decisions
01:49that have to be made that help keep teams together.
01:51And Gonzalez and a $70 million a year contract for Drake May looms.
01:57And, you know, the ideas of adding an A.J. Brown or a Max Crosby
02:01are on everybody's lips.
02:04So it's really interesting when you think of these different things.
02:07And with success comes those high-class problems.
