00:04We now have American and British personnel collaborating to defend British citizens in the Middle East right now,
00:10and that's an example of how that special relationship continues operationally.
00:14I recognise the President would rather we were involved in the initial strike alongside the Americans than the Israelis,
00:20but we were not, and as the Prime Minister made very clear to the House of Commons yesterday,
00:24we will only engage British armed forces when there's a legal basis to do so, a clear plan, and when
00:28it's in our interests.
