00:00Taking action in Iran was justified both morally and in international law because of the actions
00:06the Iranian regime themselves have taken, which has included sponsoring terrorism,
00:11including the murder, rape and kidnap of 1,200 innocent civilians on October 7, 2023.
00:18It's included attacking shipping in the Straits of Hormuz and the Gulf.
00:22It's included sponsoring a conflict in Yemen.
00:26It's included sponsoring acts of terrorism here in the UK.
00:29And in just a few weeks, last few weeks, it's included slaughtering 30,000 of their own citizens
00:35in addition to trying to get hold of a nuclear weapon.
00:39So no doubt in my mind, action against that regime was entirely justified
00:44and it was wrong of Keir Starmer to dither and fail to give the Americans backing when they took action.
