00:00Well, the Prime Minister's taken decisions in the UK national interest.
00:05That is the right thing to do.
00:06The US President, of course, it's his job to consider what's in the US national interest,
00:12but it's the job of the British Prime Minister, and it's the job that Keir Starmer does,
00:16to focus on what's in the UK's national interest.
00:19That's why we did not support the, or provide the support for the initial strikes by the US and by
00:28Israel.
00:28But it is why, when we had British citizens in a region that was then being targeted by the Iranian
00:35missiles and drones,
00:38we provided defensive support for those partner states.
