In Islamic belief, the first human being to come into this world was Hazrat Adam (Aleyhi Salaam). He is regarded as the first man and the first Prophet of Allah. Allah created Hazrat Adam (A.S.) from clay and gave him life. He was blessed with knowledge and honor above other creations. After creating him, Allah commanded the angels to bow in respect to Adam (A.S.), and all obeyed except Iblis (Satan). Hazrat Adam (A.S.) and Hawwa (Eve) were first placed in Paradise, but later they were sent to Earth. From them, all of humanity began.
