The first three verses revealed to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) were from Surah Al-‘Alaq. These were the very first words of revelation sent by Allah through Angel Jibreel (Gabriel) in the Cave of Hira. The first three verses are: “Read in the name of your Lord who created. Created man from a clot.
