00:00The Employees' Providence Fund has declared a 6.15% dividend for both its conventional and shahriya accounts for 2025,
00:09slightly lower than the 6.3% declared for both accounts for 2024.
00:15The Retirement Fund will distribute a total of RM79.6 billion in dividends to its members,
00:22RM67.1 billion to conventional account holders and RM12.5 billion to shahriya account holders,
00:30with the dividends to be credited by tomorrow.
00:33In a statement, EPF said it recorded total distributable income of RM82.7 billion for the financial year ending December
00:4231, 2025,
00:44up 9.5% from RM75.5 billion in 2024.
00:51Investment assets grew to RM1.409 trillion, an increase of 12.8% from RM1.250 trillion,
01:01driven by portfolio income and net contributions of RM66.5 billion.
01:08EPF Chairman Zuki Ali said that despite ongoing trade and geopolitical tensions,
01:13the global economy remained resilient in 2025,
01:17allowing major central banks to ease policies amid moderating inflation
01:22and creating a supportive environment for long-term investors.
01:27He said EPF's disciplined risk management and diversified investment portfolio
01:32enabled the fund to navigate market volatility,
01:36which peaked in the second quarter following the announcement of U.S. reciprocal import tariffs.
