00:05We had our 53rd annual wiener sale today. Just under 5,000 cattle. A very good run of
00:12growing steers and a particularly good run of steer wieners and the heifers that we
00:16yarded in good lines of heifers sold really well and the big lines of heifers
00:21commanded a premium. Probably we're in a bit of a moving market the last 10 days
00:26the cattle market just found a bit of traction again. A bit of rain in the
00:29right spots and we probably had a market that's deer on every front here today
00:34over the last two weeks. Heavy cattle have just taken another lift. The steer wieners
00:40went again. Equally the heifer wieners were strong for breeding purposes and
00:43feedlotters but particularly the middle running lighter heifers too in big
00:49big lines made really really good money so out around $3,000 and a bit more for
00:55the biggest of the heaviest bullocks into the 23s for the best of the steer
00:58wieners. A lot of steer wieners made between $1,700 and $2,000 and probably for on a week
01:08the heaviest is probably could have been a hundred deer. The medium steer wieners
01:13probably 50 to 80 deer and the heavy cattle probably found another 20 cents so
01:18effectively they're a hundred deer as well. Heifers probably pretty similar
01:23everything was just on the move so we've had a really good day.
