00:33Devontae and Brittany are not in a great place, as she's feeling like he has no physical interest in her,
00:39though they do hug things out, and he does apologize.
00:43Then there's Alex, who suddenly realized Ashley is not his type, and he prefers darker features, but she hasn't been
00:51told that...
00:52What's the first order of business?
00:53Cleanse the evil spirits?

01:03And as for the rest of our couples, they're doing, well, somewhat better.

01:09However, things can change real quick, especially with the addition of planning a wedding,
01:15the realities of the real world, and now going to meet each other's friends and families.
01:21I mean, Amber has a freaking kid Jordan will have to meet, not to mention the dad.
01:26But before they get there, of course, they have to see each other's places.
01:30Where, you really get to know someone.
01:46So, this is the living room.
01:48It was not intended to be a family place.
01:51They can just stay at Amber's.
01:52I mean, it'll be great.

02:32And of course, there are the family meetings.
02:34Where, much like the place visits, some go really well.
02:38Like, Christine's mom is really impressed with Vic.
02:42He seems very self-assured, confident.
02:44And I thought he was hot.

02:48However, others are...
02:50Well, no family meeting this season goes really bad.
02:54But some are a bit more complicated.
02:56Like with Emma, the big talking point for her relationship with Mike.
03:00Mike is the kids thing.
03:01And Emma's family is really protective of her decision to not have kids.
03:06Even her sister, who has kids, is going...
03:09Because there's a beautiful thing about living a life for yourself, too.

03:13Yeah, she says she has no regrets having kids and loves her children.
03:17But if she got a complete life redo, she wouldn't have kids.
03:21Meanwhile, her kids watching this at home are going...

03:25And then on the other side is Mike's Italian family, who are, of course, all about...

03:33I got family.
03:34So when they learn that Emma is not sure if she wants children, well, it's a bit of a shock.
03:40Plus, you know, she's barely learned all the proper Italian ways to say things all Italian style.
03:45I love to, like, cook spaghetti sauce.

04:12We also get Alex coming in to meet Ashley's family and primarily her dad.
04:17And Alex knows that he's going to have to try real hard to convince this man that he's here for
04:22the right reasons.

04:28Uh-oh, dad's not buying it.
04:30Quick, throw a diversion in there to try and get him on your side.

04:38Now Alex assures dad that his intentions are pure.
04:41And dad ultimately just wants his daughter to be happy.
04:44So they make their way through this without much further issue.
04:47But you know how Alex had that whole conversation with Brittany about how she has the physical features that Alex
04:53usually goes for?
04:55Well, funnily enough, ever since then, Alex and Ashley haven't been intimate.
04:59And Ashley is frustrated.
05:01Because they had this spa date thing where they rubbed mud and stuff all over each other.
05:06And Ashley was thinking, oh great, this is going to lead to some fun stuff when we get home.
05:10But instead, Alex just walked right out the door saying, oh, I have to run out.
05:15Clearly I'm sexually frustrated.
05:17Why didn't you f*** me last night?
05:18Like.
05:19Because you just left me.
05:20I was turned on and then when you leave me, I was like.
05:21When we were in bed, why didn't you f*** me last night?

05:25So I was like, okay.
05:26So Ashley is concerned.
05:28She's wondering if Alex isn't attracted to her.
05:31Because why would he suddenly stop being intimate?
05:33At which point, Alex pulls out this bold move.

05:42And I don't want a kid right now.
05:44And he says, well, I'm not going to track that.
05:46So he was expecting her to tell him when it passed.
05:49And Ashley's going, wait, my period?
05:53Not going to get pregnant on my period.
05:54PSA, being on your period does not mean immunity from pregnancy.

06:16Ultimately, he promises to initiate more and she promises to initiate when she's feeling it.

06:32before these two get into something new.
06:34As soon, Ashley meets Alex's mom, the nomad woman who's always traveling around
06:39and where Alex got his nomad nature from.
06:42Which, by the way, is a big issue in their relationship
06:45because Alex doesn't want to be in Cleveland
06:47and he wants to be in either Arizona or Florida and also to travel.
06:52While Ashley says she wants more roots and loves where she works,
06:56but we'll try to see if she can get something with the same company in those places.
06:59But okay, Ashley sitting with mom here leads into them talking about some of Alex's exes
07:04and the timelines on those exes are getting a little bit iffy.
07:09Like, for example, Ashley asks Alex if he's still friends with any of his exes
07:14and he says, well, I'm still on good terms with one.
07:17One that he went to visit in September and they hooked up.
07:21By the way, this was all filmed around Easter.
07:24Now, Alex says if that's a problem, he can cut it off.
07:27But then they go over his dating life in Cleveland
07:29and he talks about this situationship with a girl he met
07:33that apparently ended due to his nomadic lifestyle.
07:36And then he goes, oh yeah, it was about a month after that, in October,
07:40that he got a LinkedIn message to come on this show.
07:43And that makes Ashley pause.
07:46Because she's going, wait, October?
07:48You got this message a month after in October?
07:51Wouldn't that mean you broke up with this situationship in September,
07:55the same time you visited your ex and hooked up with her?
07:59You said you got the LinkedIn message about a month after, in October?
08:02Yeah.
08:02Which would mean that you were seeing this girl in September?
08:07Which is when you went to Austin?

08:13So, after recovering from being stunlocked for a good 20 seconds,

08:19I didn't cheat.
08:20I was just upset from the breakup and, call it my ego or call it a bad decision,
08:26but I went to see my ex after as a rebound.
08:29Not at the same time.
08:31And Ashley goes, alright, but to be clear, cheating is a non-negotiable for her.
08:37She's been cheated on.
08:38And Alex says, he's sorry that happened to her, he won't ever do that.
08:42I mean, he will talk to Brittany about all the features he likes that just so happened
08:45to match Brittany's, but no, no cheating.
08:48So, okay, we've got these two who don't want a kid right now and also don't want to
08:53use protection, apparently?
08:55Mike and Emma are not on the same page with kids.
08:58Jordan's not yet met Amber's kid.
09:00Vic and Christine talk kids and the realities of having mixed-race children.
09:04I won't even bother on the kids' talk with Devante and Brittany, as despite her seeming
09:10so giddy with him meeting her family and taking on a positive attitude with Devante, there is
09:15still a major lack of intimacy with the two.
09:19Like, she says he never compliments her appearance, only stuff like her clothes.
09:23While he says he has a wall up when she asks him to compliment her, because he then feels
09:28like it's not coming from a genuine place.
09:30So she promises not to project her past relationship hurts on him, while he promises to compliment
09:36her more.
09:37I think you are very pretty.
09:40I love that you, like, have, like, natural beauty.
09:42I do really like your lashes.
09:44Your soft, curly hair.
09:45I love your height.
09:46Are you just looking at things in the office and saying that you love them?

09:51And then there's Chris and Jess, who, when it comes to the having children talk, they've
09:57both agreed that they don't want kids.
09:59However, that conversation, that is far from their issue.
10:04No, the trouble for these two starts when, suddenly, we arrive one morning to find that
10:09Chris had been out all night, slept at his place away from her, and he didn't message
10:15her.
10:15And Jess is wondering, what's up with that?
10:18I mean, I don't need you to be in constant contact with me, but I am your fiancé.
10:23To which Chris then goes, okay, yeah, I guess I need to be more direct in life.
10:28Which is a pretty wild thing to say right before transitioning to this.
10:33Do you think we have a good physical connection?
10:35I do.
10:36Do you not?
10:37And suddenly, Chris is all humming and hawing, going, how do I say this?
10:41How do I word this?
10:42We had such a good connection.
10:44It was real.
10:46All in the past tense.
10:47And then he goes, I don't know how to say this without sounding like a dick.
10:51Which is a statement that, 100% of the time, is followed by saying something that makes
10:56you sound like a dick.
10:57Like in the normal world, like, I date people who, like, f***ing do, like, f***ing crossfit.
11:01Somebody who, like, works out all the time and, like, has, like, a different type of...

11:20Anyway, Chris ultimately says sex is a problem and he doesn't think he can get over that.

11:28And then, then he decides to go into this.
11:33I may have not talked to this person, but, like, over the past two days I was thinking
11:35about it, about, like, what it would be like if I was with that person too.

11:44You're bringing up Brie now?
11:46So Chris says he wants to keep trying and Jess is shaking her head.
11:51Rightfully so, because there's no recovery from this.

11:56There's no way this man is going to suddenly change his mind if they just keep trying.
12:01Honestly, the fact that me not working out every day is even a sentence that came up
12:05in this conversation is blowing my mind.

13:45saying it's over.
13:46So Connor goes to meet his buddy and talk about it all, where Chris tells him what happened,
13:51and he basically phrases it like...
13:54She doesn't want to do this anymore.
13:55Which had me going...
13:57What an odd thing to say.
13:59Because I think a lot of context is being left out.
14:02So Chris tells Connor about his concerns around his physical connection with Jess, leading
14:06Connor to say, well, you're attracted to her, right?
14:09And Chris goes...
14:11Yeah.
14:12Mm-hmm.
14:13True.
14:13Anyway, all this is now leading up to the big pod meetup for the season.
14:17The part where the engaged couples are all going to get together, along with the other
14:20singles from the pod.
14:22And actually, this seems like the first time the Cabo couples get to see Vic and Christine.
14:26Now, early on to arrive are Kia, followed by Kevin, but the talk of the town is Chris
14:33and Jess, where Brie announces that, yep, Chris sent her a DM.
14:38That man's delusional.
14:39That man is so f***ing delusional.
14:40I just got like some obscure, like, oh yeah, in my DM.
14:45I was like, what's up?
14:46From who?
14:46From Chris.
14:47Now, Brie's response was to not engage, and she told Connor not to engage as well,
14:51because obviously the man is spiraling.
14:53By the way, wow, what audacity to do that after Connor sat down with him.
14:58And a lot of the other women have already heard most of this story, and they hate Chris.
15:04Guys, he bought followers.

15:07Yeah, according to this conversation, most of Chris's followers are random people who
15:12don't know him, and who've made, like, two posts, and they're all from Mexico.
15:17Meanwhile, Brie, she says she can't believe the person Chris has become.

15:24Like, first night single goes to a strip club.

15:29Yeah, the next layer to this is that Chris apparently followed the breakup with pictures
15:34of him on Instagram at a strip club with a stripper on his lap.

15:40He literally told Connor he goes for 21 to 25 year olds.

15:48So naturally, the next person to walk through the door is Chris, and Connor says, right now,
15:53he's pushing all the Chris and Jess stuff to the side so he can focus just on Brie.
15:58Which, I will say, is far from Brie's strategy on all this, but we'll get to that.
16:02As look who just arrived, it's Jess.

16:15So Jess goes over the whole ordeal, including Chris saying he wonders what if he had picked

16:34And well...

17:26To which Chris follows that with...
17:28I knew they'd redo a sexual attraction when we're naked together.

17:36So that quickly leads to Ashley and Priyanka darting off in the opposite direction, but
17:41Brie stays.
17:42And wow, suddenly all that talk of her getting the ick from Chris and his stripper Instagram
17:48photos is gone, as she's telling Chris, oh, you know I don't take sides on this one.
17:54And well, Chris, he then goes into action.
17:58I like Connor, but he's very submissive.
18:00I could have turned up the notch with you, and Connor wouldn't be...
18:05What do you mean?
18:05... in existence.
18:06Wow, what a loser.
18:08He's wounded and wants to act like a big dog to make himself feel better.
18:12So, he puts down his friend to try and take his girl.
18:16And Brie?
18:17She's letting him sail this.
18:19While Chris keeps telling her, yeah, Connor will do the chores and he'll say yes at the
18:23wedding, but you're gonna want more.
18:26To which Brie says, well, Connor's about to meet my dad.
18:28And Chris responds with, well, your dad is successful.
18:32Your dad's a legit man who's been successful in life.
18:35He needs somebody who you're gonna introduce him to, to be like, hey, this is my Charles
18:40Schwab account.
18:40This is what I'm doing.

18:46You sure you want to talk about bank accounts, considering your ex has come out saying this

18:51Alright guys, let me introduce you to my ex-boyfriend, Chris, claims he's so financially stable
18:57while being $60,000 deep in credit card debt, sued by two different credit card companies.
