00:00Well everyone, one of the most ridiculous and drama-fueled reality TV shows is back.
00:06We did not have sex.
00:08But he told me that you came at him, that you, the first second you saw him,
00:13you like wrapped your legs around him and literally said the words that you manipulated him.
00:19We're back!
00:20Yeah!
00:20The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 3 is here, featuring our next bachelorette,
00:26Taylor Frankie Paul, who by the way is currently filming her season and forcing Jesse Palmer to do
00:32TikTok dances.
00:33Oh yeah, twerk it girl.
00:35I'm talking about Jesse Palmer by the way.
00:37But yes, Secret Lives has returned and it just about immediately gets wild.
00:43So if you're not familiar with the show, this whole thing follows around a group of women called
00:47Mom Talk.
00:48Basically a bunch of Mormon influencers who got into a big sex scandal and now are on TV.
00:54And where things left off last season, by the way be sure to check out my previous video
01:00on that for the full details, but to sum up, Taylor here is the leader of Mom Talk, however
01:05there was an attempted coup by Demi that failed and now everyone hates Demi.
01:11Also, people thought Demi was having an affair with a guy named Marciano from the show Vanderpump
01:16Villa, but turns out he's now saying the affair was actually with Jesse here.
01:21Oh, and also like half the cast is pregnant, Macy here, pregnant, Michaela here, pregnant,
01:27Jen here, pregnant, pretty much everyone is pregnant.
01:31But okay, okay, if you're in a daze trying to keep track of all these mormfluencers from Utah,
01:36don't worry.
01:37I'll try to keep things focused on the main plot points.
01:40Plus, I'll be cutting this season in half and doing two videos as that's all I can fit into my
01:45schedule right now.
01:46So, really, all you need to focus on is the cheating scandal stuff.
01:50And as the season begins, it's a pretty bad time for a huge Mom Talk scandal to come crashing
01:56into the group, as the Mom Talk Council of Master Influencers has shattered since last
02:02season.
02:03I mean, there are like four left right now, because Taylor's taking time off to go on a
02:09therapy retreat.
02:10Jen here is also on a break and currently living in Arizona.
02:14Madison here is not in Mom Talk right now, she's awaiting a vote from the rest of the
02:18group to see if she's actually going to be in.
02:20And Whitney here?
02:21Well, she was a villain in season one and was trying to get back in with Mom Talk in season
02:26two, but since has left the show due to a contract dispute.
02:31Whitney apparently didn't want more money.
02:33She wanted tickets to the Oscars and a scripted role in another TV show.
02:39Ah, interesting demands.
02:41Needless to say, she's now no longer a part of the show.
02:45Instead, she's jumped ship with supervillain Demi, who also didn't get a new contract,
02:50as she wanted three times more money than everyone else, allegedly, and that didn't happen.
02:56So yeah, the gang is fractured, and now Layla here has to come in with the news about Jesse
03:02having an affair looming over her head.
03:04But she's decided that she wants to talk to Jesse first.
03:08After all, this is a huge deal that could tear a family apart.
03:12So okay, all through this season, and all through the other seasons, there are these
03:16influencer events that they all go to.
03:18And at this first one, Layla pulls Jesse aside to drop the news.
03:23So I met with Marciano, and he told me that you guys have been having an affair the past
03:32couple months.
03:33Well, Jesse starts to break down and says it's true.
03:36The two kissed twice and had an emotional affair.
03:40But her husband Jordan knows all about it, and they've been trying to work through it
03:44quietly without all the noise from outside their marriage.
03:47However, Layla goes, um, Marciano didn't say you guys just kissed.
03:52No, no.
03:54Are you kidding me?
03:55He said we had sex?
03:57Yes.
03:57Oh my f***ing hell.
03:59I can't.
04:00I can't.
04:01So Jesse denies this, and the two decide it's a good idea to call Marciano, who explains
04:06why he thinks they had sex.
04:09And oh, this is only 15 minutes into episode one, and it's already getting weird.
04:15I remember I took a Cialis, and I remember, like, I had, like, f***ing my shorts.
04:23Okay, so I had to censor that part out because sometimes the YouTube bot is really aggressive
04:28with what they'll allow, especially when it comes to content like that.
04:32But if you want to know what he told Jesse and Layla, well, essentially he said,
04:36I have arrived!
04:38In my pants.
04:39And when he said that, I was like, um, huh?
04:43Did the man not remember or something?
04:45Did he black out?
04:47He just woke up with a Cialis missing from his medicine cabinet and some sticky shorts
04:51and went, uh-huh, I can put two and two together.
04:53Well, Jesse is now determined to prove her innocence, and this is the driving force of
04:58the first half of the season.
05:00I mean, they do hit up a bunch of events and there are some side quests here and there,
05:04but this scandal is the main thing.
05:07At least for right now.
05:08So first up, Jesse now has to break the news to pretty much everyone, as this is about
05:14to get out there, and that includes telling her husband Jordan here that, well...
05:19Honey, you've got a big storm coming.
05:22Then it's time to tell her friends Michaela and Macy, and gosh, Michaela seems so sad to
05:28learn that her friend is wrapped in a dramatic cheating scandal that could ruin her life.
05:33I still just don't have words.
05:34Don't have words.
05:35Plus, like five seconds after they leave, these two immediately get to gossiping.
05:40Well, I'm like, I was with her the whole time in the actual villa.
05:44She's really good at, like, acting like nothing's wrong.
05:47She did leave a lot to get, like, pretzels and a Coke.
05:50She was like, I'm gonna get pretzels.
05:51I'm gonna go get a Coke.
05:52I'm gonna shit.
05:53And I was like, I know you're not eating that much.
05:55And then even Demi finds out and starts texting people asking to talk.
06:00So the group is even more on edge because they think there's a mole amongst them feeding
06:04information to Demi.
06:06All the while, Jessie's husband Jordan is spiraling.
06:10Because everyone, and I mean everyone, at least in the mom talk world, is gossiping about
06:16them now, and Jessie's still going to these events and engaging in drama while Jordan
06:21feels like she should be focusing on keeping their marriage afloat.
06:25So he storms out of one of these events, and the two have a fight where they ultimately decide
06:30that they're going to separate, or at least have a 90-day trial separation.
06:35Which is probably not gonna go well considering the first event that they have together since
06:39making this decision, Jessie shows up to tell the other ladies that she's got some receipts.
06:45Receipts which are her texts with Marciano.
06:49And he said, well no, haha, but you are my sugar mama.
06:51I can't stop thinking about your vagina.
06:53I f***ed up and want redemption.
06:55Ew, what a nasty ass human.
06:57So Jessie feels like all of this proves that they didn't go the full distance, because
07:01if they did, Marciano would have known all about her more private details.
07:07The real question is, do you think you can handle me?
07:10And I said, I said, I'm not sure, I want to find out.
07:12I hate myself.
07:13He said, so you think you're, so you think you're ready to dive into the deep end?
07:17And I said, well what do you mean by that?
07:19He said, I would be lying if I said I wasn't curious about your recent surgery as well.
07:23I definitely want to try it out.
07:24And all the while, all while this is happening, Jordan is like, just over there.
07:29He's right nearby, within earshot.
07:32Not to mention, all the other women are forced to listen to this stuff, which they absolutely
07:36do not want to hear.
07:37Still, this does add a great deal of reasonable doubt to whether or not Marciano was telling
07:43the truth.
07:44And Macy here decides that she's going to get down to the bottom of it, and so she
07:48goes with Michaela to meet up with Marciano and hear directly from him.
07:53And first, they actually press him on his time with Demi.
07:56Cause, if you missed it from last season, this whole affair affair happened while a bunch
08:02of them were on a trip to Italy, and Demi was also there.
08:06And most people thought it was Demi who might have cheated with Marciano, and lo and behold...
08:12Did you guys kiss you and Demi?
08:14Alright, f*** it.
08:15It happened.
08:18Marciano says he kissed Demi as well, and that no, he didn't have sex with Jesse, he
08:25was just pressured into saying he did.
08:28So did Demi tell you to say that you slept with Jesse, since you're saying she told you
08:32what to say to Leila?
08:34Yeah.
08:35Well, well, well.
08:37The plot thickens.
08:38I was like, dude, I don't feel good about this, and she's like, no, like, you need to
08:43double down.
08:44So Marciano says he was mad at Jesse, and Demi was promising to bring him on the show with
08:49her, but now not even she is on the show.
08:52And yeah, these two rush to call Jesse and Leila and tell them all about the news, and
08:56they're freaking out going, wow, Demi was doing that to her once best friend?
09:01The audacity of it all, especially after she called out Taylor last season, like...
09:07If I was watching someone treat my friend and talk to, knowing the type of person I
09:13am, I would be defending each and every single one of you.
09:16But right, there is, of course, yet another influencer event, and this time the group is
09:21mortified to learn that Demi just flew in on her broomstick.
09:25Oh, and to Leila here was one of the few people still kinda cool with Demi, but now, nope.
09:31She's giving Demi the stink eye going...
09:33I know what you did last summer.
09:35What the hell?
09:37When she said this.
09:37What are you doing?
09:38I don't...
09:39When she said this.
09:40You don't what?
09:41Why are you being so bitchy to me right now, though?
09:44Instead of having a cordial conversation as my friend?
09:47So Leila tells Demi about what Marciano said, and Demi pulls out her phone with the receipts
09:52from Marciano's texts, all the while Leila's going, I have seen way too many text messages
09:57from Marciano in these past two days.
10:00But Demi goes, look, look here, I told him not to go through with it.
10:03Which, okay, is still kind of incriminating, cause that just means you were planning to
10:09go through with it at one point, and you backtracked at the end.
10:12Or you just said that to cover up your tracks.
10:15Anyway, they call Jessie, and Jessie hangs up the moment she hears Demi's voice, so Demi
10:20starts going, but then the producers rush in and shut that down real quick, cause apparently
10:34Demi signed an NDA.
10:36Alright though, at this point, Taylor comes back from her retreat and learns all about
10:41the drama.
10:42Oh yes, and everyone was trying to suss out that mole, and they were all pointing at Miranda
10:47over here like...
10:48Mole.
10:50Mole, mole, mole, mole, mole.
10:52Cause she was still in contact with Demi, but after this latest news and how Demi reacted
10:58at the last event, Miranda is also done with Demi, so everyone's going, cool, you're back
11:03in MomTalk, the vote is now official.
11:05And hey, look, that MomTalk graphic is starting to fill back up again.
11:10Nature is healing.
11:12But of course, this calm isn't gonna last long, as Jessie decides she needs to talk to
11:17Marciano once again to gather further proof, cause you know, she fears Demi could be on
11:23the warpath now.
11:24I know it sounds crazy, but I want both of us to take a lie detector test since Demi's
11:28still running her mouth.
11:29If Jordan isn't aware, I think that'd be really like, on his end purple, because it's
11:33so fresh.
11:33For sure.
11:33And we're now at the take a lie detector test level of crazy.
11:37So most everyone is thinking that this is a bad idea.
11:42I mean, Taylor's going, this man has proven to be a liar who's willing to ruin your life.
11:47Why are we bringing him back in?
11:49Plus, this could piss off Jordan.
11:51And when Taylor Frankie Paul is the sanest voice of reason in the group, you know, things
11:56have really gotten out of hand.
11:58But okay, Jessie meets with Marciano, and the man arrives with flowers.
12:03Flowers for her.
12:05And I'll be honest, at this point, I really couldn't focus on this scene as it was happening,
12:09cause I was just amazed that Marciano was able to coordinate outfits with the couch that
12:14they're sitting on.
12:15Ultimately though, Marciano agrees to take the lie detector test for Jessie, but it takes
12:20about an hour or two to get the results.
12:22So Jessie, again, brilliantly decides to invite Marciano to come have dinner while they wait
12:29for the results.
12:30And the vibe here is just...
12:41Okay, Jessie, I think it's probably time to leave at this point.
12:45But no, Jessie continues on, even asking Marciano to describe how passionate his kiss with Demi
12:51was.
12:59And Taylor over here is going, what in the spooky Mormon hell is going on here?
13:05But okay, then the results come in, and it's revealed that no one had sex with anyone in
13:10this situation.
13:11But sexual touching on the other hand...
13:18And then Jessie fails more questions, like whether she lied about the Marciano
13:22situation at all, or if she's ever told any lies about Demi, and we just get a string
13:28of...
13:28What?
13:29What?
13:29Jessie?
13:30What?
13:30What?
13:31But then, Jordan, her husband, calls, and she runs right out of there away from Marciano,
13:37but...
13:37We had to wait to get the results.
13:39It took like an hour and a half to get them.
13:41You're at dinner with him right now.
13:45Don't you think you should have told me you were going to dinner with him?
13:47So Jordan is pissed, and Taylor's still thinking, um, something's missing here.
13:53So she gathers all the ladies once more to say, Jessie, it's time to tell the whole truth.
13:58Because at least then we can help you.
14:01And it's here where Jessie reveals that Jordan has actually been emotionally abusive for a
14:07while.
14:07Like before the affair.
14:09Like it was a constant control.
14:11There's so many things I wasn't allowed to do, and if I did, it would be a fight.
14:15I didn't do anything right.
14:16Parenting, laundry, house, work.
14:18Which is crazy.
14:18But I was doing it all.
14:19And through all of this, Jessie is the main breadwinner.
14:22She runs her salon business and does mom talk.
14:25But Jessie goes to meet with her husband to talk it all out, and Jordan is, well, really upset.
14:32Our kids are going to grow up with their mom being a cheater in life to the entire world
14:37because he had to go and make those accusations.
14:39This is exactly why I've treated you the way that I've treated you.
14:44Is the lack of accountability that you've had.
14:46So yeah, this is not good.
14:50But with them all being connected to the Mormon church, there's a lot of pressure to stick
14:54things out.
14:55Meanwhile, Jordan has put together a barbecue to try and share his side of things with
14:59dad talk and mom talk.
15:01A barbecue that Jessie is also not invited to.
15:04So a lot of the women are there ready to defend Jessie, especially after the emotional abuse
15:09accusations.
15:11So now, mom talk is back in more drama and things are rough.
15:16No matter how hard they pray for it.
15:19May mom talk and dad talk get along forever.
15:21Amen.
15:22Do we get along though?
15:23And yeah, this is where I've ended things for now.
