00:06Hello IGN FanFest. If you're seeing this for the first time, this is Vampire Crawlers.
00:12It's everything you love about Vampire Survivors, but mashed into a turn-based deck builder.
00:17Look, we know what you're thinking. Turn-based? Sounds slow. Wrong.
00:23With our turbo-turn system, you play as fast as you can think.
00:27And the best news? There's a fresh demo for you to try.
00:30Before you go, let's talk about how to truly break the game.
00:35Gems. You find gems inside dungeons, in treasure chests, or even as level-up options.
00:41These aren't just stat boosts. They fundamentally alter how your cards work.
00:47You can always keep it simple. Slot a double damage to, well, double the damage of a card.
00:52Or, make it complicated. Slot a combo reverse gem to reverse the combo counter-direction to enable even longer combos.
01:01You can get a mana refund. You can put spicy sausages on every card.
01:05There are so many options that there's no wrong way to do it.
01:08You can also just aim for the ultimate power, find the rare evolution gem, combine it with the right passive
01:14item,
01:15like the magic wand with the empty tome, and boom!
01:18Your card evolves into a weapon of mass destruction.
01:21But finding the right gems is all about luck, right?
01:25Not exactly. In the village, you can visit the jeweler.
01:28Here, you can alter the probability of which gems drop in the world.
01:32But the real game-changer is next door.
01:34The blacksmith.
01:36Here, you can pay to add gem slots to your cards permanently.
01:40Even cards that start with zero slots can be upgraded.
01:43Every time you find that card in a future run, it will have those extra slots ready to be broken.
01:48Why do you want more slots?
01:50Combining multiple gems can create chaotic situations.
01:54Take a simple vacuum. Use the blacksmith to add a gem slot to it.
01:58Now add a return gem.
02:00When you play it, you draw your cards, but you also get the card back in your hand instantly.
02:05You can play it twice without breaking your combo, doubling your drawing power.
02:09Or look at this Santa water.
02:11It's powerful, but expensive.
02:14We add a reverse combo gem and a mana rebate gem.
02:17Now, you drop the heavy hit, you get your mana refunded,
02:20and you reverse the combo counter,
02:22setting you up to unleash a chain of smaller cards in reverse order to keep your combo piling up.
02:28And finally, let's look at these two duplicator cards.
02:31They both cost one mana.
02:33We add to both of them a gem that reduces their mana cost,
02:36and a gem that says,
02:38When played, draw another of this card.
02:40I play one.
02:41I get the other back.
02:43I play it.
02:43I get the previous one back.
02:45Infinite value.
02:47The perfect loop.
02:48Or is it?
02:49There are so many combinations waiting to be discovered,
02:53and we can't wait to see what crazy combos you come up with.
02:56The Vampire Crawlers demo is available to play right now on Steam and Xbox.
