00:18Hey, I'm Miko. I'm the creative director at Skyward Entertainment.
00:22And I'm Anton. I'm a game designer and community lead here at Skyward.
00:31We're working on a new kind of action RPG called Second Stone.
00:35It's basically the game we've dreamt of playing for like, I don't know, 20 years or something.
00:41We imagine this game with all the vibes, all the spirit of the colorful games we remember playing as kids.
00:48Think of something as adventurous as Jak and Daxter maybe, but with swords, spells and rich RPG customization systems.
00:56We're honestly just trying to make the smoothest and most fun action RPG we can.
01:02So if you end up replaying the game just because you like how it feels, then I think we've done
01:07a good job.
01:09The thing that makes Second Stone so special, at least for us, is that it feels like the classics we
01:14grew up with, but plays like a modern game.
01:16We try to draw inspiration from all the games we've played and loved throughout the years, so we might take
01:22a look at what made the early 3D platforming games so charming,
01:25analyze hitstops in fighting games to add a sense of impact to each attack, or just look at how Astro
01:30Bot teaches you everything about the game without ever interrupting the fun.
01:35As a result, Second Stone has a bunch of different stuff you can really lose track of time with, be
01:40it exploring the world, tinkering with your build, doing another run into roguelike temples, or just taking a break to
01:47play cards with the villagers.
01:48Yeah, working on Second Stone has been such a fun and crazy journey. It's been like chasing the silhouette of
01:56our dream game or something like that.
01:58And yeah, it's quickly becoming this pretty wild and refreshing cool game that we can't wait to share with all
02:03of you.
