00:09Scott Green told an accountability meeting he believes the force should examine its past conduct,
00:14similar to how it previously addressed its history with black communities.
00:19He stressed no decision has yet been made and said he will discuss the issue with other chief constables.
00:25Police and Crime Commissioner Simon Foster welcomed the review.
00:30Campaigner Peter Tatchell has previously criticised the force for refusing to apologise.
00:36A spokesperson said consultation will take place with national policing bodies, staff networks and LGBTQ plus communities.
