00:27And so for me, Annie was someone who actually made me feel closer to my Nigerian heritage.
00:36She is this woman from the South, but she's so deeply connected to her purpose and her ancestry.
00:43And I feel like that's what he does so well.
00:48I think he did it amazingly with Black Panther, this unity, this kinship that kind of took over globally.
00:59And so it's interesting.
01:02I have a lot of reverence and gratitude because I feel like African-American history and the movements have been
01:11so integral to freedom all over the globe.
01:15I want to learn, I want to honor, but it also makes me feel more connected to my motherland.
