00:0124th of February 2022. The Russian army launches its offensive on Kyiv and the capital is heavily
00:07bombed. Four years later, the same scenes are repeating themselves. Sirens continue to punctuate
00:14the daily lives of residents. The goal is to dampen the morale of Ukrainians. But despite
00:20the casualties and power outages, they remain resilient and optimistic.
00:25We are all tired. The soldiers are tired. The president is tired too. The poor man is
00:31torn, trying to solve all the problems. But we support him.
00:36I don't expect the war to end quickly, but I still hope for victory. I have great confidence
00:40in the soldiers, their air defence and the armed forces. I fully support them and sympathise
00:46with their suffering. On the front lines, the war is evolving, with more clashes involving
00:52drones. And with this, Ukraine is beginning to gain the upper hand, since the Russians
00:57no longer have access to Starlink software. This has allowed them to recapture several dozen
01:02square kilometres in the south of the country. And troops dismiss Moscow's conditions for
01:07a ceasefire.
01:11Many soldiers, myself included, refuse to give up these territories because we fought throughout
01:16the war for them. If we accept Russia's terms, it will be a failure. A failure for those children
01:25who have lost their fathers, for those mothers who have lost their sons.
01:31Bolstered by these advances, Ukraine is still resisting. And on both sides, the war is becoming
01:36more entrenched.
01:39We cannot say that we are losing the war. Frankly, we are certainly not losing it. The question
01:44is whether we are going to win. Yes, that is a question. But it is a very costly one.
01:50In four years of fighting, the conflict has claimed tens or even hundreds of thousands of lives
01:55refugees and created millions of refugees.
