WFP warns of imminent end to food aid in Somalia without new funding

The UN's World Food Programme (WFP) warned Friday it would have to stop humanitarian assistance in Somalia by April if it did not receive new funding.

00:39And while aid resumed at the end of the month, many UN agencies like the World Food Programme battle a
00:44severe lack of funding for humanitarian aid.
00:47In Somalia, the World Food Programme already reduced the number of people receiving food aid from 2.2 million in
00:55early 2025 to just over 600,000 today.
