00:00Today on Media Miss Minute, a new report shows the Trump administration was aware
00:04immigration agents were using force more frequently well before two American citizens
00:09were killed. Plus, Senator Chuck Schumer moves to give the pride flag the same federal protections
00:15as the American flag. I'm Craig DeGrelli. In today's Media Miss Minute, we're looking at
00:24two stories getting limited attention across partisan outlets. Starting today with what
00:28the right is skirting over. A watchdog report says the Trump administration knew reports
00:34use of force by federal immigration agents were rising shortly after President Trump returned
00:39to office last year. Records obtained by the non-profit American Oversight show 67 use-of-force
00:47incidents involving ICE officers in the first month of his second term, up from 17 during
00:53the same period in 2024. Now to what the left is glossing over. Senate Minority Leader Chuck
00:59Schumer is proposing legislation to designate the pride flag as a congressionally authorized
01:05symbol, giving it the same protections as the American flag. The bill would reverse the Trump
01:11administration's removal of the pride flag from the Stonewall National Monument, widely
01:16recognized as the birthplace of the modern LGBTQ plus rights movement. A current federal directive
01:24limits flags flown on national park sites, including Stonewall, to official government flags.
