00:01The next 12 weeks will be the toughest of your life.
00:06Lord Sugar is on the hunt for the next big thing.
00:09This is an opportunity of a lifetime.
00:13Battling for his backing, some of Britain's brightest prospects.
00:17Come on, boys. Look at that. Your life depends on it.
00:21And then hit him.
00:22It's a deal worth fighting for.
00:24I can sense a bit of friction. Absolutely.
00:26Daniel, is that on you? No.
00:3020 candidates.
00:31I've never been kicked in the balls by a goat, to be honest with you.
00:3412 tough tasks.
00:36This is a complete and utter joke.
00:40Just jump straight in.
00:41One life-changing opportunity.
00:43You're fired. You're fired.
00:45You've completely messed it up. You're fired.
00:58I'm giving one team chickens and the other eggs.
01:02Guys, I'm getting stressed, man.
01:03Team egg cracked under pressure.
01:05If we don't make any money, this is a profit house. We will lose.
01:08And on team chicken.
01:10Can I interest you in a chicken and mushroom pie?
01:12Dan's approach ruffled feathers.
01:14I think we're struggling to shift the pies.
01:16Do you want to revise your tactic?
01:18I think we just hold the prize.
01:19In the boardroom.
01:20Your pies ended up making a decent crust.
01:24Vindication for Dan.
01:26Good job, buddy. Proud of you.
01:27Meant it was Tanmay.
01:29What the hell was you doing?
01:31Who got plucked.
01:32You're fired.
01:408pm.
01:42I don't feel like you got a chance to be a PM.
01:45Because people are continuously talking for you.
01:47Yeah.
01:48Do you know what?
01:49I think there were clearly some gaps in Dan's project management and leadership.
01:52I was just trying to highlight them and point them out.
01:54I think Connor has been speaking for a lot of people in here.
01:58I think he potentially could be going up for a PM.
02:02I'll get it.
02:03Next one though.
02:09Hello.
02:12Hi.
02:13This is Big Zoo.
02:14Your presence is required for your next task at the Crossness pumping station.
02:19Lord Sugar will meet you there at 8am.
02:22Oh my God.
02:23It's Big Zoo.
02:25Big Zoo.
02:25What's going on?
02:27Big Zoo just called to tell us to meet him at the Crossness pumping station at 8am tomorrow.
02:33Guys.
02:34Big Zoo!
02:35Big Zoo!
02:36He's a rapper, entertainer.
02:37He has a Big Zoo show.
02:39Oh yeah.
02:39Big Zoo's big, bro.
02:41I think it's an advertising task for his new song or something.
02:44What?
02:45Big Zoo!
02:46I mean, I haven't got a clue who he is.
02:47Big Zoo.
02:48Big Zoo.
02:49Big Zoo.
02:52In South East London, Crossness pumping station.
02:58A Victorian engineering marvel with a practical past.
03:02Big Zoo.
03:04Big Zoo.
03:04Big Zoo.
03:16Big Zoo.
03:18Big Zoo.
03:19Big Zoo.
03:21Big Zoo.
03:21Big Zoo.
03:21Big Zoo.
03:24Big Zoo.
03:29Big Zoo.
03:37Big Zoo.
03:39Big Zoo.
03:43Big Zoo.
03:45We're going to shoot a TV ad and showcase your product live on social media.
03:52Now, I need to even the teams up.
03:55Harry, where are you?
03:57Yes, Lucia?
03:58Please move over to team Eclipse.
04:02Now you've had a few weeks to get to know each other.
04:05So I'd like you to choose your project managers right now!
04:11TV, social media, pitching.
04:13confident with them, but I need help with the branding and design. I don't have a
04:17water bottle idea, but I'm happy to bring it to life. You should put yourself forward, Conor.
04:23Does anyone want to actually be a project manager first?
04:25Mm-hmm. I do. Campaigns, full promotion. I feel like I can help you, but I don't do the social
04:31media bit.
04:32Have you decided? Yes, little trigger.
04:37Okay. Team Alpha, who's your project manager going to be?
04:40I put myself forward, Lord Sugar. Right.
04:43Given his experience in social media, it makes sense.
04:46Team Eclipse, same question. Karishma.
04:50Right. Why?
04:51So, I'm a social media consultant, and I've been present on social media for the last seven years, working as
04:57an influencer and content creator.
04:59Okay. Now, this is all about creating a bold brand. Somebody who has achieved that is this gentleman here.
05:10Welcome, Big Zoo.
05:12Well gone.
05:14Hi guys doing, I'm Big Zoo. You may know me as a rapper, TV chef, but what some of you
05:19don't know is I started a canned water brand two years ago called Drip.
05:23We changed the game. One thing we did is prove that water isn't boring.
05:27Thank you very much for that. You'll be pitching your campaign to this gentleman here and a panel of experts,
05:35but ultimately I will decide whose advertising campaign is the best.
05:42Everything clear? Yes.
05:44I'll see you in the boardroom in a couple of days' time. Off you go.
05:50Two days to tap into the bottled water market by building new brands and creating campaigns.
05:58I'm really grateful for the opportunity to be your PM today, guys.
06:01Thirsty for a win.
06:02I would really like to create a drink for people who are passionate about sports.
06:07Content creator, Karishma.
06:09I'm someone who's newly into fitness. Looking after myself, going to the gym and keeping myself hydrated only recently became
06:15a priority for me.
06:16I think we can motivate people to actually get into the gym through this campaign.
06:21Which is a big one.
06:21Which is a big one. Like you're changing lives, but with water.
06:24You know, it is a very simple product, but if we can actually put the metaphor of transforming one's lifestyle,
06:29it's powerful.
06:31This is what I do every single day. Brands give me an idea, I turn it into real life, and
06:36then I make the millions.
06:37So that is exactly what I do day to day, and that is exactly what I get to do today.
06:41Well, everyone, thank you so much for selecting me as PM.
06:45Setting out his strategy.
06:47I'm definitely going to be listening to the team and ultimately collectively making a decision together.
06:51Absolutely, mate.
06:52Yeah.
06:53First time project manager, Connor.
06:56First things first is to choose our target market. Does anyone have any strong ideas?
07:01I think the commuter area, I definitely don't drink enough water, so could that be an area that we actually
07:06target?
07:07So I was thinking sports, if I'm being completely honest. I think sports in general has rapidly grown.
07:12But it would be really easy to promote it to commuters.
07:15Yeah.
07:15Everyone is getting into sports now, so it's probably good to maybe go down that route.
07:19Yeah. Roxy, what do you think?
07:21I feel like I'm drifting towards the commuting side.
07:23Okay. Does anyone feel extra strongly?
07:29Do we want to take a vote? Is that the quickest way to solve it?
07:31Yeah.
07:33This is the first time Connor has been project manager and in the past he has controlled the team from
07:37the back seat.
07:38But now he actually has the opportunity to control things. He's putting everything to the vote.
07:43I mean, that's all well and good, but at some point as project manager, you've got to make a decision.
07:48So for commuters?
07:51Okay, so collectively I think we're going to go with commuters. All happy?
07:54Yeah.
07:55Brilliant. Perfect.
07:57Next job for project manager Karishma.
07:59So who here feels confident with social media marketing?
08:02Decide who does what.
08:04I do, that's what I do in my day to day.
08:06Would you like to be on my sub team leader?
08:07I would love to.
08:08Just on that, just with me having a marketing agency as well, I do a lot of adverts.
08:13I'd feel comfortable being able to lead the TV advert team.
08:17Mm-hmm.
08:18I will be taking care of the TV advertisement and with me, Lawrence, Kieran, Megan.
08:23Branding team will be Kerrington, our social media expert.
08:27Harry, Priyesh and Andrea.
08:30I want it to be eye-catching, bold colours, nothing boring, nothing ordinary.
08:36As a team, we voted for Karishma to be the PM because of her social media skills.
08:41And I'm actually quite shocked that she didn't put herself on that side.
08:44So she could have just brought her social media expertise through on that.
08:48I've got every confidence.
08:49Let's make something extraordinary, guys.
08:52Roxanne, do you mind if I put you on the branding team with Levi, Rajan and Dan?
08:56Yeah.
08:57Anyone on the branding team want to put themselves forward for sub PM?
09:00Has anyone had any experience in branding?
09:03Has anyone created, like, a brand from scratch?
09:05Both.
09:06So I've got experience in both areas.
09:08Give Roxanne the rain?
09:09Keep the boys in check.
09:10Yeah.
09:11OK, perfect.
09:11I want it to be seen as the water bottle that you carry around with you, almost like the
09:14replacement of your phone.
09:15I trust you with this vision.
09:17I know it's a little bit loose, but I trust you.
09:2210am.
09:23The teams divide, while half pour their efforts into ad campaigns.
09:29The way I do ads is you're not selling a product, you're selling a feeling.
09:32And people spend millions on a feeling.
09:34The rest will build their brands.
09:38Conor was a bit vague, I'm not going to lie.
09:41But he said something to replace the phone in your hand with.
09:44Bit of an ambiguous kind of, like, description from PM, but I think, you know, we've got
09:49the right person in the seat today.
09:51It would be fantastic.
09:53South East London.
09:55Base for both teams.
09:57Leading design agency, 10 days.
10:00Hello.
10:01Hi, are you all right?
10:01Good afternoon.
10:02Hi.
10:02Top of the to-do list.
10:04I think the best one might be Thrive.
10:06Nail down a name.
10:07With the word Thrive, I can imagine going to the gym, it's bright, brand-in, colourful,
10:12poppy.
10:13Also brainstorming brand names.
10:15I thought maybe calling it North, because people always say the water from the North
10:18is better.
10:19The other team.
10:21Yeah, I like that idea.
10:23What about, like, North H2O?
10:25Yeah.
10:25It tastes better from the North.
10:27It's an okay name, but I'm just worrying the people who don't get it, they're going
10:30to be like, well, I don't get it.
10:33I think we could definitely make it work.
10:34We can just make it fun and exciting.
10:36Do you know what I think would be good?
10:38North H2O supporting you to reach your peak.
10:42Yeah.
10:42I love that.
10:43But you're dividing demographics.
10:45I'm just worried about the connotations of the North and South divide.
10:48But then maybe in the logo, we can do some mountains as well.
10:52You know, we are supporting everybody to reach their peak.
10:55I think it's tricky.
10:55I think it's a bit of a risk.
10:57Dan came up with this idea of North water, because water tastes better up North.
11:02But actually, they shied away from the whole original concept.
11:06And it's now about mountains and peaks.
11:09Well, if you only half go down that message, nobody will get it.
11:13You either have to fully embrace it or drop it completely.
11:16I think it does look clean.
11:19I like the look of the peaks.
11:21Yeah.
11:22Yeah.
11:26Across town.
11:28Everyone's on their phone and they're glued to it.
11:30While Pasha pitches an advert aimed at parched commuters.
11:33And there's almost like this angel that's got this bottle.
11:38Everyone stops.
11:39Everyone stares.
11:40And it's like a gaze.
11:42Yeah.
11:43On Karishma's team.
11:44I think the TV advert would be like boxing ring.
11:47Someone gets knocked down.
11:48They have a sip of the water and they come back up.
11:50Estate agent Kieran plans a knockout campaign.
11:54I love that so much because I want people to feel defeated.
11:56And then we pick them up.
11:58So location wise, I don't want to do gym.
12:00You don't want to do gym?
12:01I'm not, no.
12:02It's too obvious.
12:03I want to go to this like enchanted looking place.
12:07How do you want to do like the box and stuff?
12:09We don't have to be that literal.
12:11I'm thinking like he's getting knocked out.
12:13He's not getting knocked out by a fist.
12:14He's getting knocked out by the camera.
12:15We see you hit the floor.
12:17Bam.
12:18Yeah.
12:18I want somewhere with really exciting lighting.
12:21He drinks this water and we have like a close-up shot
12:24of his eyes just like powering up.
12:26Like he is one-
12:27Like that and go.
12:29Yeah, literally just like we want it to be performance enhancing water.
12:32I promise you guys I'll bring it to life.
12:34I can see it.
12:36I can just see what I want to do.
12:37So like other opinions.
12:39Thank you for sharing.
12:40But we know, I know what I'm doing.
12:42And if you want to save a prop, boxers don't normally wear t-shirts.
12:46I'm happy not to wear a t-shirt.
12:47Yeah, I bet you're not.
12:48Yeah.
12:51Lunchtime.
12:53For Connor's team.
12:54Hey, Roxanne.
12:55A chance to check in.
12:57So the logo is North H2O.
13:01Our tagline is supporting you to reach your peak.
13:05We've got a few lines representing like mountain peaks.
13:09So the mountains are actually showing that they're going to be reaching the peak drinking this water.
13:14Levi, sorry for interrupting.
13:15It's just mountains are extremely jarring to commuters.
13:18Commuters, you're thinking public transport.
13:20You're thinking tubes, bikes, quickness.
13:23I think it would make more sense once you see the logo.
13:26But also, if you're lost, you know, you're finding yourself.
13:30The only problem with that is you're not going to be lost on your commute.
13:32And if you're lost on your commute, you're probably unemployed.
13:35We luckily have a very adaptable and agile team over here.
13:38So we'll make it work.
13:39But I do think it is quite the challenge to make North and the mountainous range kind of fit.
13:44Especially when we're going on a commute.
13:49East London.
13:51Location for Karishma's boxing themed ad.
13:54Oh, my God.
13:57An immersive cocktail bar.
13:59Oh, my God, it is Avatar, literally. Wow.
14:02Aiming to take the lead.
14:03We've got director, Megan.
14:05Marketing expert, Megan.
14:08Do you know when you can walk backwards, but you zoom in?
14:11I forgot what that's called, I did it in media.
14:13But can we try that?
14:14Yeah, we can, yeah.
14:15Three, two, one.
14:18Go.
14:19That's nice.
14:20OK, here we now want some movement.
14:21Look tough and rough.
14:22You're not having a good time here.
14:23You're scared that you're about to get beat up.
14:25Cool.
14:25And stop there.
14:26And then can we have a close-up shot?
14:28Hang on, are we doing the punch with the camera?
14:30Not just yet, not just yet.
14:30Right now we're just recording that he's scared.
14:34I'm a bit confused why Karishma did appoint me to be the director of the ad fair
14:38if she was just going to lead it herself.
14:40I actually did media studies for A-levels,
14:43so I'm actually quite clued up with doing different camera positions.
14:46She's just taking on the whole load by herself.
14:48All right, three, two, one, action.
14:53And then hit him.
14:54Nice, nice, nice.
14:55Yes.
14:55You look like you're dying.
14:56All right, Lawrence, come in with the towel and the water.
14:59Open your mouth, Kieran.
15:00Nice, nice, nice, nice, nice.
15:02OK, I think he's drowning.
15:06Across town.
15:08Backdrop for North H2O.
15:10It's about three commuters on their journey to work.
15:14A boat on the River Thames.
15:16The angelic Rothna comes in, drinking North H2O.
15:20At the helm.
15:21Pasha, you're going to help me with directing.
15:23Two captains.
15:25And cue Rothna.
15:29Which direction is this boat heading?
15:31Love.
15:33And cut.
15:33Rathna, you're going to go up and...
15:34Sorry, just to interject, do you not think it's better
15:36to do the other angle from the view of Vanessa?
15:40So what I was going to do is just...
15:41Oh, you're doing it twice.
15:41Just repeating now, the same one we did.
15:43I think you are just going straight onto the boat,
15:46because otherwise that's just going to be too long.
15:48Yeah, but that's where you chop the change at the edit tomorrow.
15:50Do you guys want to walk on?
15:51And, Rath, if you don't mind just recording from this
15:54as they pop in over the boat.
15:57Yeah, perfect, that can cut there.
16:00Okay, and cut.
16:01Brilliant.
16:03I think it is great to have Pasha there.
16:05At some point we were being a little bit pedantic.
16:07I do think you can go back and forth all day saying,
16:09shall we record it like this, shall we record it like that?
16:11In a creative process like this, you do have to make those decisions.
16:15So if you could maybe record from here...
16:17What are you doing now?
16:18Well, it's just Rothna drinking the water again.
16:20But we've already got that.
16:23On the other team...
16:24I was thinking aluminium ball because it's recyclable.
16:27Yeah.
16:27It's got the cap.
16:28Vessel in the can.
16:29But are we all happy to go with that one?
16:31Yeah.
16:31Great.
16:31Next, a bold brand for their bottle.
16:34So the colour we need to decide is the main aluminium bottle now, I think.
16:38Yeah.
16:38I was thinking not primarily blue because that's boring.
16:40Oh, what about more orangey?
16:42Um...
16:43Mm.
16:43I do like purple as well.
16:45Mm.
16:46Don't love that one.
16:47I was thinking like yellow.
16:48Yeah.
16:49A very light pastel yellow.
16:51Oh, yeah.
16:51I like that.
16:52I like that.
16:53I think it needs to stand out.
16:54I was thinking about incorporating just a really bold tap with the drip hanging out.
16:59If I see a tap on a bottle of water, I think you'll give me tap water.
17:02Why am I paying for this?
17:04Well, they know it's not tap water because it's in a bottle.
17:07The team are not listening to me.
17:09Sometimes I do have some great ideas.
17:11And I've done marketing on my business and it says what it does on the tin.
17:15Thrive, yeah, it's a brilliant word.
17:17But unless we introduce something that says it's a bottle of water, it's not a good branding.
17:23I just hope it's good.
17:24I'm worried.
17:25Yeah, so do I.
17:26It's very out there, but Karishma wanted something bold.
17:28And it's all matching the colours.
17:30Yeah.
17:337pm.
17:34Do we need a picture or something on the back page?
17:36Oh, hang on.
17:36Yeah.
17:36I think a compass.
17:38Yeah.
17:38Perfect.
17:39For both teams.
17:41Guys, time really quick.
17:43Last shot.
17:44One more time.
17:45Finishing touches.
17:46North.
17:47H2O.
17:48Bravo, guys.
17:49Well done.
17:50Tomorrow, pitch campaigns that make a splash.
17:587am.
18:01You heard it everyone's sleep.
18:02Not enough, but.
18:03Tough as a tough.
18:05For Karishma.
18:06Let's have a look.
18:07Gonna get a drum roll going.
18:08Let's get it out.
18:09The big reveal of her bottled water.
18:18I'm not gonna lie, it's giving milk.
18:20It's giving milkshake a little bit.
18:23It's only like when you see this colour, you think banana milkshake, you think a little
18:26bit like a milky product.
18:28It reminds me of in primary school when you have to do IT and you did that font with
18:33the gradient, if I'm being completely honest.
18:36I think it's a little bit basic.
18:38That's not bold.
18:43The sub team have missed the mark slightly and I think we're gonna be overcompensating
18:48when we're trying to pitch it as water because it doesn't look like water at the moment.
18:52You just have to say that we are making a new, innovative product.
18:55There's nothing like this on the market at the moment.
18:57Honestly guys, it's gonna come across as a dairy product.
19:04Across the hall.
19:05I'm excited.
19:06On team North.
19:09Love it.
19:11Things go south.
19:13I thought we had quite a clear vision of what we wanted, kind of like a mobile phone
19:17replacement, that cool water vessel that you really want to have and keep and hold.
19:22My biggest concern is the compass, the compass is extremely jarring for commuting.
19:29So one of the reasons why I wanted to put the compass on is because it's almost like, you know,
19:33whilst drinking this water, you're heading the right way, you're heading straight.
19:37It gives adventure.
19:39If we handed that to you and said, this is for your hiking.
19:42Yeah, that would be really good branding for hiking.
19:45Why do we have mountains?
19:46It doesn't actually look like mountains.
19:49No.
19:49It looks like a chart of some sort.
19:51It can tie in with the commute.
19:54The branding that we've seen this morning is absolutely diabolical, if I do say so myself.
19:58The logo doesn't make sense.
20:01I almost feel like they've tried to sabotage this whole task for one reason or the other.
20:05I think us as an advertising team did quite well to kind of adjust.
20:09Can I just interject? Sorry.
20:11I think it does hit the brief, obviously, Connor.
20:14You did say we have free reign on it.
20:16100% I did.
20:17I do think it's 100% salvageable.
20:20We need to pitch today.
20:22There's a lot of pressure.
20:22Ahead of presenting to industry experts.
20:25Everyone has different strengths in this team.
20:27I know that.
20:28Half of each team will promote their product live on social media.
20:32Megan, I would love for you to go over to the TikTok live side today.
20:37While the rest edit TV ads.
20:40Can I just make one suggestion?
20:41Obviously, it's up to you, whatever you want to do.
20:42But when we voted for you to be PM, it was because of your social media background.
20:47I actually did media at A-level and I did a lot of editing.
20:49So, do you think it might be better for you to go over to social media?
20:54I completely get what you're saying.
20:55But I feel like I'm very needed in the editing of this video.
20:58There just cannot be two of me.
21:00And I trust Carrington with the TikTok live.
21:02She's done them before.
21:03They'll go on there, just have a fun time.
21:07The pressure on me as a sub-team leader at the moment
21:09feels like a ton of bricks, to be frank.
21:11I need to do really, really well in the live.
21:14Or I might as well pack my bags from now.
21:17I do think as I have experience in live streaming specifically,
21:21it would be advantageous for us, for me to swap over.
21:24From project manager Connor, a reshuffle for Roxanne.
21:28Roxanne, I'm going to take the reins from you.
21:29And for Pasha.
21:30I am going to trust Pasha as sub-team lead.
21:33A promotion.
21:34Does anyone have any concerns or queries about that?
21:37I don't have experience editing videos, so...
21:40Correct. I fully understand that.
21:42However, I do think we all have the vision.
21:43I have full trust in you after yesterday.
21:46Onwards and upwards, let's go north.
21:48Let's go.
21:5110am.
21:52Half of each team set off to conquer social media.
21:56Listen, you can have a rubbish product
21:58and if your TikTok live is fantastic, you can sell anything.
22:02It is.
22:02While the rest will edit their adverts.
22:06Very disappointed.
22:07It looks like a milkshake.
22:09I think we, um...
22:10Oh, sorry, Harry.
22:11I forgot you were in the team.
22:15South East London.
22:16Edit base for both teams.
22:19Hello, Rhys.
22:20How are you doing?
22:22Pulling no punches.
22:23Is this just all our shots?
22:25Yeah, so put everything into the timelines.
22:28Project manager, Karishma.
22:30So this, I want to start with the motion immediately.
22:32Should we get the scene sorted?
22:34Do you know what I mean? That would be helpful.
22:35Yeah, this is...
22:36This is what we're doing.
22:38So stop there.
22:39Let's start there, yeah.
22:40So I just want this bit.
22:42Just want that bit.
22:44We, not I, yeah?
22:46We just want that bit.
22:47Yeah, we just want that bit.
22:48Yeah, cut there.
22:49Karishma.
22:50Yeah.
22:50Just a bit worried that we spent quite a lot of time already with this clip.
22:54We just need to have something that's finished, even if it's not absolutely perfect.
22:58This will be done in the next two minutes.
23:00So if you play from here.
23:03I'm feeling a little bit stressed, as is everyone else.
23:06Me, Laurence, Harry, are all sat there like soft thumbs, while Karishma takes over.
23:11One thing, just with that writing, still water 500 millilitres.
23:15You don't need to write 500 millilitres in the ad.
23:17Okay, fine, whatever you say.
23:20Downstairs.
23:21There's a few things that we need to do to begin with.
23:25Making her editing debut.
23:26We need to get the voiceover done.
23:29And I think we need to pick the music before we get into the editing.
23:33Newly appointed sub-team leader, Pasha.
23:36Can we play through all the music that we've got?
23:39Sure.
23:39What's going on?
23:39Already, that's nice.
23:42No, it's a bit too upbeat.
23:44Yeah, no.
23:47No, it's going to country.
23:48It's going to country.
23:51Guys, don't you think we should edit the video first?
23:54We're going to edit it all in a minute.
23:56We just have to make sure we're happy with the song so we can get that agreed.
24:02Okay.
24:03Pasha's plan of action, basically, to just jump into the music.
24:07There's no real structure to the actual story.
24:09That's the most important part of the actual film.
24:13This part's not going to start.
24:15Yeah.
24:16Should we get that agreed?
24:18I'm happy with that, yeah.
24:18Let's do that song, yeah.
24:20Now we need to get the voiceover sorted.
24:22I want to include something about hydrating.
24:24While we think of this, why don't we start editing?
24:27Personally, I think that the editing of the clips will be the quickest part.
24:33Central London.
24:36In one hour, teams will host live streams on global platform TikTok.
24:42We lose them within three seconds if we don't have something fun and engaging.
24:45To hook in an audience.
24:46We want to make sure everyone understands their branding or thrive.
24:50And showcase their brands.
24:53I have some experience in live streaming.
24:55My idea is to open it as we close it.
24:57Are you team Levi or are you team Roxanne?
24:59By the end of the live stream, one of these is going to get doused in water.
25:03Right?
25:03You want to go the whole way to the end of the live stream
25:06to figure out who loses and who almost gets dunked in water.
25:09Yeah.
25:09Dan, I do think you should be like fact finder Dan.
25:12So Dan literally walks in and you give a really simple, or like water is transparent.
25:17And then walks out of shot and I say, thanks Dan.
25:21Let's go live stream.
25:22Yeah.
25:22So let's do it.
25:23Let's go folks.
25:2711am.
25:29Tuning in to watch the lives.
25:32Drink spot, Big Zoo.
25:33All right guys, I think they're going live.
25:35Along with other experts from the worlds of water, advertising and social media.
25:42Stop scrolling and stop exactly where you are.
25:45In just under five minutes, you will get to decide who is going to be doused and covered
25:50in water.
25:51Is it going to be Roxanne?
25:53Hello.
25:54Or is it going to be team Levi?
25:57How we doing everybody?
25:59Are you all right?
25:59A nice slick start.
26:01I think it was a good idea to like hook that audience.
26:04I want to know who you want to see dunked in water.
26:07Is it Levi?
26:08Or is it Roxanne?
26:09I like him.
26:10It's good on camera.
26:11It's good on camera.
26:11It's good.
26:12It's like and deck.
26:13Yeah.
26:14I'm going to show you how to drink it.
26:17Woo!
26:18Taste test.
26:19Live taster.
26:20Okay.
26:22That is incredible.
26:23If I don't say so myself.
26:26I'm here to introduce you.
26:28The man with the plan and he is called Dan.
26:33Oh!
26:34It rhymes.
26:35He's got quite lyrical there.
26:37Lyrical miracle.
26:38And he's got a fan!
26:39Go Dan!
26:40Go Dan!
26:41They've brought the chaos which can work in a live stream.
26:44Water is the most consumed beverage in the world.
26:47Ooh!
26:49Anything else?
26:50Thank you Dan.
26:51Oh that's it.
26:51Dan is done.
26:52Dan wins everything for me.
26:54What a random dude.
26:55Next up is Levi.
26:56Please introduce yourself.
26:57Go Levi!
26:58How are we doing everybody?
26:59I'm Levi.
27:00I am the active commuter.
27:02Our audience might be thinking or looking forward to the dunking rather than finding out about
27:07the product itself.
27:08Right we're going to do one final countdown.
27:10Levi!
27:11Levi!
27:13Levi!
27:14Levi!
27:16He's a strong host.
27:17He's a strong host.
27:18Yay!
27:20Thank you everyone.
27:21Please introduce your North H2O supporting you to reach your peak.
27:25Thank you very much.
27:27See you.
27:27Well thirsty after that.
27:30I feel like the North H2O lot had a very engaging hook in their live video.
27:35A clear plan.
27:35That is such an important part of live streaming and they definitely succeeded there.
27:40I think the dunking will be the key takeaway from that live stream and maybe not the product.
27:45But still a really great effort.
27:48Next to launch their water to the world.
27:51Hello.
27:52Hello.
27:54Strive.
27:55Hi guys.
27:55How are we all doing?
27:57We have an exciting new product to show you today.
28:00Which is called...
28:03FRIVE!
28:05Like Bananary.
28:06Yeah.
28:08It's giving them all sweet.
28:09We are a fitness water brand.
28:11Look at these bold colours.
28:12Imagine when you're going to the gym, taking a selfie in your gym clothes and doing that.
28:17Oh!
28:17With your six pack and all that.
28:19Oh!
28:19The product's not shouting fitness though.
28:22Still water.
28:23500ml.
28:24Easy.
28:25Yeah.
28:25Cut in your bag.
28:26Small.
28:27It's very Selly.
28:29It's very Selly.
28:30They ain't giving me much.
28:31It's getting a little bit repetitive isn't it?
28:32FRIVE!
28:33FRIVE!
28:34Sip to FRIVE and I feel alive!
28:37I just had a sip and I feel alive!
28:39Yeah.
28:40Starting to run out of gas, I think.
28:43I think so.
28:44Yeah.
28:45You see it's on the shelf and you think, wow!
28:47Yeah.
28:47Isn't this amazing?
28:48Yeah.
28:48They haven't given me a reason to stay engaged.
28:50Yeah.
28:50Hey guys!
28:52Oh!
28:53Look at that!
28:54Oh!
28:54You've got to stop everything in this dude, cheers!
28:57Controlled chaos is okay.
29:00This to me seems like uncontrolled chaos.
29:03It's a new innovative water bottle.
29:05Sip to FRIVE and feel alive!
29:10They just didn't give me a reason to stay on the line.
29:13Yeah, there was no hook.
29:14Perhaps if they'd maybe thought about the narrative better,
29:17maybe scripted things, that would have helped them.
29:21Back at the edit...
29:22This is the boxing ring.
29:24Ding ding ding!
29:26Right, let's do that again.
29:27Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
29:29As the boys add final bells and whistles...
29:33Nice.
29:34That's great, well done.
29:35...still stuck at the starting line, Pasha.
29:38I think we've got a good outline.
29:39It's just that little bit that we need to sort of join us on a journey through the...
29:46I need to tell you, you've got half an hour.
29:48Okay.
29:49How long are we on the video at the moment, Raph?
29:51We're on 48 seconds now.
29:53I'll just play through you, tell me where to cut.
29:55Where she's walking, get rid of the walking.
29:57So we don't need any of these.
30:00Just take that cut there.
30:01I think it's that short, if you could just play that.
30:03Cop that one.
30:06Leave the reaction, we haven't got time for that.
30:08Yeah, from that bit.
30:11Supporting you to reach your peak.
30:14Done.
30:15That went so fast.
30:202pm.
30:21Hi, guys.
30:22Before pitches begin...
30:24I want it to be highly professional, very entertaining, very personalised and human.
30:29For both teams...
30:30Hi, everyone.
30:31...a chance to check in.
30:33I understand that I put a lot of pressure on you specifically, Pasha.
30:35How did it go?
30:37The only issue that we had is how many clips were filmed yesterday.
30:41The amount of videos we had to go through was so many.
30:43It was really time consuming.
30:45I think I want you to be aware that we didn't even have a chance to do a full run
30:49-through.
30:49Like, we literally had one to the last second.
30:52What do you mean by a full run-through, so you're not seeing it from start to finish?
30:55We haven't been able to see it from start to finish, but we did watch bits and bobs as it
30:59was getting kind of together.
31:00Did the ad make sense?
31:01There might be a few things that might, like, be pointed out, not being 100% cohesive, but we obviously
31:07really did try it.
31:13Mid-afternoon.
31:15Showtime.
31:17Hello, how are you today?
31:20Riding high from their TikTok triumph, North H2O.
31:25I am delighted to introduce our new water brand.
31:29North H2O is targeting commuters, be that the busy workaholic or the tired, worn-down working professional.
31:38Big Z looks a bit concerned.
31:42What North H2O is, it...
31:44Sorry.
31:46When you're in your journey, throughout the hustle and bustle,
31:53you can...
31:53Whenever you start to fatigue down in your journey, take a bit of North H2O,
31:59and it will pick you up and elevate you back up to your peak levels.
32:02He doesn't seem confident.
32:04We kind of opted to go for a carton.
32:06We were also thinking of going towards down the can route,
32:08but, you know, the cans, I feel like a lot of people are doing them at the moment.
32:12And also, if you haven't opened a can, you're going to have to drink that in one city.
32:16Um, the carton, you know, you lot are dissing up the cans.
32:19I'm a can man.
32:20I'm going to take that to my heart now.
32:24So...
32:25Um, so without further ado, let's watch the advert.
32:33Which direction is this boat heading?
32:35No.
32:38Well, this is your first time seeing it.
32:40Yeah, I've never seen this.
32:47Excuse me, what drink is that?
32:51No, H2O.
32:54Supporting you to reach your peak.
32:57Welcome to the floor for any questions.
33:00I'm Jolion White.
33:01I am the Chief Creative Officer and founder of the creative agency Ten Days.
33:07I just think with the ad, I kind of feel like I saw something quite, like, quite dull.
33:15Imagine you're scrolling.
33:16Would you stop if you saw that opening frame?
33:20Thank you for your question.
33:22Um, if I saw someone who looks like me on the way somewhere, really busy, I can't be intrigued.
33:26Like, what's going on here?
33:28I get tapped on my shoulder and asking me where I'm going.
33:30And with that attitude, I've gone north.
33:32I wouldn't know what's going on right now.
33:34So I would stop.
33:37Hi, I'm Joanna Moncrief, head of marketing at Canowater.
33:41Given you've gone with commuters as your kind of target market, what made you decide to have the compass branding
33:47and the sort of slightly mountainous look?
33:50Yeah, so.
33:52Yeah, absolutely.
33:54So with the mountainous look, I mean, as though it kind of might look like a mountain, it's more representative
33:58of your journey going down.
34:01And then when you drink the water, it goes back up to reach your peak.
34:04Thank you so much.
34:05Thank you very much.
34:06Have a lovely evening.
34:08Wow.
34:08Wow.
34:09How are you guys feeling?
34:10Wow.
34:11That was really hard to watch.
34:14Yeah, that was hard.
34:15Yeah, I think from my perspective, they did a really good job at the live stream.
34:19And none of that came through on the ad.
34:22No, definitely.
34:22It felt like someone in the branding had a very different idea to someone in the ad.
34:30Next, to take the stage.
34:32Good afternoon, everyone.
34:33Thrive.
34:35Thank you so much for joining us for the launch of our brand new product, Thrive.
34:41Thrive is about bottling that feeling of change, of self-improvement, of doing something for yourself that changes the world,
34:49so that you can thrive.
34:51I would like to introduce you to a concept that I like to call the Thrive Turning Point.
34:56This is defined by that very second in your life where you decided to stop being ordinary and stop just
35:03merely existing.
35:04We're not just selling water.
35:06We're selling the feeling, the sensation of walking away from the cusp of failure and challenging yourself every single day
35:13to create change.
35:15So, with no further ado, let's have this video play.
35:36I think we've smashed it.
35:37That was good.
35:38I really like the ad.
35:39I think the ad was electric.
35:41I love when you punch the floor and you was getting up and then the water splattered.
35:45The only reservation I have from it is that it almost looks like the water gives you power,
35:49which I feel like sometimes can be misleading, especially in the water game.
35:52Especially when you had that final sip and your eyes opened up.
35:55It's like, yo, I'm awake now.
35:58What it comes down to is, and like we've all been saying, it's a feeling that you get.
36:02So, you thrive, you're hungry to do better.
36:06It doesn't give you powers, but it gives you almost a sense of security.
36:11Yeah, right on.
36:13Who directed the ad?
36:17The ad was directed by myself, yeah.
36:19It's pretty damn good.
36:21Thank you, sir.
36:22Yeah, it's pretty damn good.
36:23Just want to come back to the bottle.
36:26This is giving banana milkshake.
36:28It just does feel quite childish.
36:30Like, it's giving CVVs.
36:32For such an adult ad to have almost a childish bottle feels like a bit of a letdown.
36:36Thank you so much for the question and the feedback.
36:39That's really helpful to hear and we'll take it on board and it's appreciated.
36:42Our main goal was being different and the fact you've pointed that out
36:45shows that we've sort of hit a mark to some extent.
36:48Thanks so much.
36:54It was a very good ad.
36:56It captured you, it was interesting.
36:58What we kind of agree is giving banana milkshake.
37:01Yeah.
37:01Oh yeah.
37:02Without doubt.
37:047pm.
37:05Well done, Krishna.
37:07Let the shit well.
37:08Pitch is over.
37:09We said about the milkshake thing.
37:11You knew it was going to come.
37:12Yeah, we knew it was coming, yeah.
37:13We knew that there was going to be challenges and obstacles that we had to overcome.
37:16We took accountability and we tried to answer them with the best perspectives that we could.
37:22Tonight, back to the house.
37:24Tomorrow, sink or swim.
37:32Morning, morning.
37:34You all right?
37:34Good, G?
37:35Yeah, not bad.
37:36Do you feel confident that your team have done enough to win?
37:39The video was absolutely out of this world.
37:42Because you were in it.
37:44Yeah.
37:46I'm sad you had to go up against me to be fair.
37:48Oh, she talks a big game.
37:50She does.
37:51You seem to talk to talk.
37:52Hope you can walk the walk.
37:53I don't walk, I strap, babe.
38:02I'm not going home today and I will be fighting to my last breath because this is what I do.
38:07I'm feeling nervous about going into the boardroom.
38:09As PM, it's easy to be the fall guy.
38:11I will be holding my team accountable for their missteps.
38:13There are some questions that I have.
38:16My head's a bit scrambled right now.
38:18I just don't know what Lord Sugar is going to think.
38:20I just know I've done my best and that's all I can do.
38:27You can go through to the boardroom now.
38:42Well, this is one of my favourite tasks.
38:45I spent a lot of my business career creating adverts and marketing.
38:50What I've forgotten about advertising you haven't even learnt yet.
38:54So, let's start off with the clips.
38:58Karishma, you chose to be project manager, is that right?
39:01Yeah, I create ads for other brands for a living.
39:04Tell me about the ideas that you came up with.
39:06So, I really wanted to go down the fitness category just because it's such a vastly growing one.
39:12For me, that was a clear vision in my head what I wanted to do with this.
39:16Okay, and you came up with this name, Thrive.
39:19Yeah.
39:19Now, when I see this, first of all, it came across to me as if this was like a milky
39:25type of product.
39:26Yeah.
39:27Yeah, the yellow looks like isotonic custard to me, quite frankly.
39:32The reason for the yellow was to spread positivity and sunshine.
39:37Is this yellow supposed to be sunshine, is it?
39:39Well, it's like a subtle yellow and I think when you...
39:41It's very subtle, yeah.
39:42We thought the same thing that you thought, Blood Sugar.
39:45We thought it looked a bit like a milkshake.
39:47We just had to do with what we had.
39:49Hmm.
39:50Well, let's take a look at your TV advert.
40:09Hmm.
40:10Thrive was appearing in the advert for Ciaran, from what I can understand.
40:15That's very close to you.
40:15Yeah.
40:16No, what I'm trying to say is the advert was all about Ciaran and yet, Raging Bull, it's not.
40:22De Niro or Stallone, you're not.
40:25Anyway, I spoke to the panel.
40:28Electric advert with loads of energy.
40:32It does, however, make you think that water gives you actual power, which is maybe a bit misleading.
40:39So, with the fitness side of things, you drink it as an encouragement drink, but it gives you that motivation
40:45to go to the gym, to exercise.
40:47Yeah, but it's only water.
40:48It's not like it's an energy drink.
40:50Anyway, the social media, I saw that also.
40:54Carrington, you were sub-team leader.
40:56Yeah.
40:57I do live streams quite a lot in my personal life.
41:00We had ample energy.
41:02They seem to really like the product.
41:03Yeah, I've got some feedback.
41:06A bit too much talking over one another.
41:09And it's not very engaging.
41:11Also, if I may, I think the reality is you were very hard on the sale.
41:16And I suppose with your experience of life, you could have done slightly better, no?
41:20I thought it went well, but that's...
41:22Did you?
41:22Well, let me tell you what my panel had to say.
41:25They said that one was better.
41:27Yeah.
41:28So, overall, good project manager?
41:31Yes.
41:32Yes, I think so.
41:34I'd actually say that Karishma knew what she was doing.
41:36I mean, I was impressed with the quality of her work.
41:39I do think Karishma did a really good job.
41:41The only thing for me is I did voice that I would like to be sub-team leader.
41:45With having a marketing agency, I thought a lot of my skills were really valid for this project.
41:50You're saying that your talent was not exploited in this task?
41:54Karishma is simply just stronger when it comes to social media,
41:57whereas Meghan's strengths lie in advertising.
42:00And that was said by yourself.
42:01That's your opinion, is it? That's your opinion?
42:03No, no, no. This was a statement made by Meghan,
42:05and I'm pretty sure we can all agree that that's how that went.
42:07It wasn't picking...
42:08Yeah.
42:08If Karishma was weaker in a certain task, she wouldn't have been chosen.
42:11Anyway, let's move on to Team Alpha.
42:15Connor, you said when you became project manager that you bring ideas to life.
42:21Correct.
42:22So my history is in my streaming, and I'm confident and comfortable in pitching.
42:27OK, and you chose commuters.
42:29And then Dan came out with this north, is that right?
42:33Yeah, that was my idea.
42:35I wanted to do a play on words that the water up north is better.
42:37Is it?
42:38Yeah, I think a lot of...
42:40Is that because it rains more up there or what?
42:41No, it's like a joke that a lot of people say,
42:44whenever they come down to London, they say the water tastes better up north.
42:46Don't you think it'd be alienating people in the south, then?
42:49We did point that out.
42:50That was exactly my point, Lord Sugar.
42:52In the morning brief, I expressed that, you know, we could be creating like a bit of a divide here.
42:56Right.
42:57The reality is, it would have worked well, Lord Sugar, if my whole story concept had come to life.
43:01But the fact there was a bit of divide in terms of...
43:03Anyway.
43:04Anyway, yeah.
43:04Then you ended up with this, yeah?
43:07Yes.
43:07And then you got the compass on there.
43:09That's correct, Lord Sugar.
43:11So I propose the compass to the team.
43:12And then also with the line on top of the north, it represents the progress chart.
43:17I know some people had mentioned it does look like mountains.
43:21When you were designing it, you said you wanted it to look like mountains.
43:25Yeah.
43:25It has nothing to do with the progress chart.
43:27And if I may, when we separated into our advertising and branding team,
43:30we never kind of spoke about it being the adventure themed.
43:33I thought collectively we did kind of go against the story of the north.
43:37Sorry, Connor, you did mention that you said you'd give full reign to us, like free reign.
43:41No, I did.
43:42And in fairness, you also said that you've experienced in creating brands.
43:45When you saw that, was your reaction, what's this north and what's mountains all about?
43:50We were quite shocked.
43:51Yeah.
43:52Yeah.
43:53All right.
43:53Let's see this advert now, shall we?
43:57Which direction is this boat headed?
43:59North.
44:07Excuse me?
44:08What drink is that?
44:09North.
44:10H2O.
44:11Supporting you to reach your peak.
44:15Well, these are the experts.
44:17They said the advert was a bit old fashioned, boring.
44:21Yeah, I'm actually extremely proud of our team, of how we pivoted to incorporate the branding
44:25name of North and kind of almost saying that the boat is going north.
44:28We had to make do with what we had.
44:30It was just making it work.
44:32Sorry, I disagree.
44:33I feel like you could have used the name North and done a bit more of a creative flair to
44:38it.
44:38But we didn't know the name.
44:39I personally do think it lacked creativity.
44:41And likewise with yourself, I think, you know, you put yourself forward as sub team leader
44:45and you have experience in logos and designing.
44:48Okay.
44:48So then you go and pitch and you haven't done your homework because a part of your pitch was,
44:54you know, canned water is old passe rubbish, you know.
44:59You've got two people on the panel.
45:01Big Zhu and Kano, whose water is supplied in cans.
45:06Not very clever.
45:08It was actually brought up in our pitch by Rajan.
45:10They were kind of almost...
45:10It's not good to impress them.
45:12You should do your research first of all.
45:14No, 100%.
45:15Okay.
45:16So look, good team leader?
45:18Yeah.
45:19Yeah.
45:20What's that mean?
45:21Just feel like for the morning brief, we could have had a bit more to go on.
45:24Right.
45:25Well, look, I've seen both adverts.
45:28I've listened to the experts.
45:30As you know, I was always going to make the decision on which the best advert was because
45:35of my experience.
45:38I think that Eclipse cinematography was much better than Alpha's advert.
45:46I think Alpha's advert, to me, with due respect, was boring.
45:52Looks like a 10-year-old's done it on his iPhone.
45:55And so, on that basis, I'm going to award the win to Eclipse.
46:01Thank you so much.
46:02Right.
46:03Off you go.
46:04Back to the house.
46:06Well done, guys.
46:07Well done, sir.
46:09And I think there's a talent agent out there for the remake of Rocky V.
46:14Oh, my God.
46:19Well done, guys.
46:21Well, as ever, I'd like you to go away, talk amongst yourself, come back in here, and
46:27do a more deeper dive into what went wrong.
46:31Off you go.
46:31Thank you, Michelle.
46:38So happy, guys, that we won that.
46:40Oh, Robbie.
46:41Oh, my God.
46:41What a relief.
46:43We won on the video in the end.
46:44That's what made the decision.
46:45As a content creator, it was huge for me.
46:47You killed it.
46:48You know, both of you should be very, very proud.
46:50Thanks, mate.
46:51I'll be up for the BAFTAs this year, I reckon.
47:00Do the branding team take accountability that they made a brand that looks like an adventure
47:04water?
47:05I just feel like for the branding side of things, you were quite vague with that.
47:09Roxanne, you did say you had experience in branding, so I did leave a very vague and
47:13open brief.
47:13There was absolutely no direction from Connor.
47:16I feel like it's unfair if I am brought back into the boardroom today.
47:20Lord Sugar said at the end it was a boring advert.
47:22I do agree.
47:23It wasn't a most exciting video, but I told him in that meeting, just to let you know,
47:27I have no experience editing a video.
47:29Yes, the idea of the advert was mine, but the way that that was brought out, Connor really
47:34should have made that come to life.
47:36Roxanne, I do think, unfortunately, the compounding of the compass onto the water vessel did leave
47:41us an extremely difficult position.
47:43Yes, okay, the branding wasn't fantastic that you were dealing with, but, you know, one
47:47of the first things that you said as PM was, you know, I bring stories to life.
47:51I'm disappointed with the branding.
47:53I'm extremely proud of the work that I did in order to make that work and to make that
47:56brand story fit.
47:57However, it's extremely different than the vision that we agreed on.
48:10would you send the candidates in, please?
48:23well i believe you lost because the branding and the tv advert both very very poor now dan
48:32you've got this name north and you said well thing was it wasn't executed as to my total idea
48:39right why didn't you pipe up dan i didn't i did say many times but there was a lot of
48:45divide in the
48:46team that they wanted it who did who was dividing in the team then the reason why we didn't apply
48:53his
48:53complete concept lord trigger was because it's a bit you know demographically prejudiced it's a
48:58running joke people get it or they don't it's it's 50 50 so we decided to go away from dan's
49:04water to start north but still get the name i mean put simply the name north is meaningless if you
49:10don't use the concept yeah branding team i i would ask for some accountability here in all fairness
49:17um connor you were very vague with what you were actually wanting you were just like you know i
49:23trust you guys and also just kind of do what you want with your free will 100 and when i
49:28took this
49:28role as p.m i said i have no branding experience i trust you you did say you have branding
49:32experience
49:32and i trust you i've got a beauty business you know so you've created logos and designs before
49:37now when you look at this when you look at this branding you would think that christopher columbus
49:41would buy this as an explorer well the logo looks like a road sign on the m6 quite clearly north
49:47of
49:48it's all gone south quite honestly anyway connor and pasha i've heard that um both of you were
49:55directing the cameraman and saying do this and then the other one would overstep and say no do that
50:02so basically we had two directors yeah 100 percent i feel like i did take a step back and i
50:08was
50:09letting connor predominantly lead i didn't witness you taking a step back okay um can i um just add
50:17yeah lord sugar so when we met on day two it was very out of the blue he sort of
50:22looked at me and
50:23said pasha you're going to be doing the edit now i said to connor i've never edited a video a
50:29branding
50:29advert so you're telling me he dropped you in it is that what you're saying i'm not i'm not he
50:33went
50:33off to do the social media thing because that's what he does that's where he's that's what he does
50:37hundred percent it's the only good thing he did do because your one was voted best by the social
50:44media experts 100 percent all right um anyway where do you think the uh fault with this project lays
50:52in my opinion i think the fault on this project lays more with the video team one of the first
50:58things connor said was i create stories into reality there was no reality here right well connor as the
51:05project manager can i ask which two people are you bringing back into this boardroom um i am going
51:12to bring back rajan and roxanne right i think it's very quick for you to throw me under the bus
51:20but okay the rest of you leave and go back to the house and the three of you stay here
51:26thank you
51:27well look you three are going to step outside i'm going to have a chat with the baroness brady and
51:37uh tim and then you'll come back in here when at least one of you is going to be going
51:42today okay
51:43off you go thank you
51:49i think a couple of them had a lucky escape yeah
51:58so connor good talker isn't he yeah but actually no one in the team thought his instructions were very
52:04clear at all and what about rajan the reality is that rajan was responsible for some grave errors
52:11in the pitch particularly saying negative things that impacted some of the judges i think you're
52:17really going to have to narrow down on roxanne i mean she was in charge of the branding and the
52:23branding is i'm afraid i think incredibly poor yeah
52:30yeah yes could you send the three candidates in place
52:44well connor no clear concept from the brainstorm no synergy between the ad and the product our
52:52initial concept which i'm pretty sure you both knew and were aware of that we were going for the
52:57mobile phone replacement something kind of sleek that was kind of the concept i trusted you with
53:01branding unfortunately north h2o with the mountains and supporting you to reach your peak does have a
53:07narrative and that is much more linked to an adventure brand and roxanne more specifically a
53:11sub-team lead i think you failed to take accountability for that which i'm really disappointed by
53:15because immediately sorry can you interject there because as a leader i wanted to hear everybody's
53:21opinions and voices levi threw in the the bit about the peak which ultimately everyone agreed on it
53:29connor you've you've you've gone into why you brought roxanne here as being you know the sub-team
53:33leader i'm loving to hear no reason so you doubled down on making an adventure brand you compounded it by
53:41adding in the compass you dissed big zoo's um brand itself no no i meant i i mentioned that we
53:47went for
53:47a cat carton as opposed to a can to stand out and i think there's a way that you can
53:51elevate the use
53:52of the carton without putting down a can so what you're trying to say is you brought me back because
53:56i put a compass onto a bottle yes you think that we have failed this task because a compass is
54:01on
54:02there is that what you're saying i think you made it it made it extremely difficult in the pitch
54:05and i think it not the mountains not the mountains or all of this so you agree that there are
54:10branding
54:10issues here what you've achieved is that you've made tap ball to look at look exciting quite frankly
54:17branding roxanne you have to take responsibility for it you're the sub-team leader i do take you
54:25know accountability for for some of the you know the branding but ultimately um i don't believe i am
54:32the failure of this task where do you think the failure lays out the three of you then i believe
54:37connor
54:38easy to point at a project manager isn't it well it's not just because he's the leader that's not it
54:42at
54:42all the directing and the filming of the actual advert when me pasha and the editing team were
54:49going into the second day there was nothing for us to go off there was no there was no no
54:53that's
54:53that's not true that isn't true as like pasha it was pasha's vision and pasha was the assistant
54:57director for a reason but you're saying it's his responsibility well he directed it okay yes this
55:03week i took the reins this pm and i pivoted when we got the north i swapped sides over to
55:07the live stream
55:07i think we smashed that out of the park was the video a little bit boring yes so i do
55:12take
55:12accountability for that right okay i don't want to hear any more from anyone so the way i see this
55:18connor is that i'm impressed that you do take responsibility and you've taken responsibility
55:25for certain parts of the failure of this task right roxanne i think a sub-team leader on the branding
55:34side you have a lot to answer to rajan to be disrespectful of the canned water to the two
55:42experts was a major boob i i can't get to the bottom of whether you're shrewd enough for me
55:51but connor whether you allowed the social media to distract you from the main business that we were
55:59supposed to be doing could be one of the reasons why regretfully this task failed
56:07i just got to do this on a gut feeling at the moment
56:12my gut feeling is that
56:20roxanne roxanne you're fired thanks for the opportunity thanks tim thanks by nesbredy good
56:27thanks
56:34connor i like your spirit and determination however you need to focus in future you two
56:42go back to the house thank you lord sugar
56:48i'm sad that lord sugar didn't believe in me but i back myself a hundred percent
56:52i've got a lucrative business and i can't wait to prove lord sugar wrong
56:57i mean no one backed my vision unfortunately i should have been pm
57:01i really hope the roxanne's coming back yeah i actually walk quiet if roxanne doesn't make
57:08it home today i think connor might make it back
57:18oh
57:21boys you've got to tell us what happened so i mean lord sugar felt that roxanne was the person to
57:26blame
57:26the branding aspect wasn't fantastic and you know she was the one who got the finger
57:31who do you think's on thin ice now then i think everybody's on thin ice but there's no room for
57:35hiding now 15 candidates remain lord sugar's search for his next business partner continues
57:47next time i want you to make a bunch of money out of flowers petals you've got 60 bouquets to
57:54make we're only four down don't cut them too short don't cut them too short pitfalls
57:58come over and cheer yourself top crowd and in the boardroom you completely and utterly lost the
58:04plot a pruning you're fired
58:09if that merely wet your whistle head over to bbc 2 for unfinished business after the figure skating
58:15let's be honest it's the olympics of drag battling for the crown rupaul's drag race uk
58:20versus the world is at the end of that red button
58:23you
