00:00Several more Bersatu division leaders have resigned from their posts following the sacking
00:05of the party's deputy president, Hamza Zainuddin, and growing dissatisfaction with its president,
00:11Muhyiddin Yassin. Yadzan Muhammad, Ahmad Man, and Ismail Ali, the former leaders of the Tanjung
00:17Malim, Bukit Gantang, and Bagan Sarai divisions respectively shared statements and videos
00:22declaring that they had vacated their posts. Yadzan and Ismail also announced their exit
00:27from the party. Although there have been claims that divisions have been dissolved following
00:31their resignations, Bersatu Secretary General Azmin Ali said yesterday their departures did not have
00:37any bearing on the division's existence. As of yesterday, 26 Bersatu divisions were reported
00:43to have been affected including Lambapantay, Larut, Kepalabatas, Padangrengas, and Tanjung.
00:50Several Johor divisions including Sembrong, Mersing, Ledang, Pontian, Labes, Johor Baru,
00:56Tanjung Piai, Sri Gading, and Pulai were also listed as having dissolved their committees
