00:07:43that Nissan has been defying ordinary in India
00:07:47since 1965 with the Nissan Jonga.
00:07:51We were actually the first foreign country to collaborate with the Ministry of Defense,
00:07:56Government of India,
00:07:57to grant the license to the Patrol P610
00:08:01and that was popularly called the Nissan Jonga because this was made in Jabalpur.
00:08:06And by the way, Jonga was not the name of the car.
00:08:10Jonga was the name of the place where this vehicle was built.
00:08:13Jabalpur, Ordnance and Gun Carriage Assembly.
00:08:16So each first letter of the entire location became the name of the car.
00:08:23And interestingly, on the side fenders of this car, it still said Nissan Patrol.
00:08:28And we started production of this with Ministry of Defense in 1969.
00:08:33And since 1969, this vehicle was on the roads till 1999.
00:08:39For thirty years, this vehicle was on the roads.
00:08:42So Nissan has been truly defying ordinary since 1965.

00:11:06This is 1965 and I just wanted to share that with you.
00:11:10That's a milestone.
00:11:10So it's almost 60 years.
00:11:12Six decades of defying ordinary in India.
00:11:14And now today we are here for the resurgence of the Nissan brand in India with the new set
00:11:19of vehicles that we have promised you that we are going to bring to this country.
00:11:22So when you look at this Nissan in India,
00:11:25what's really important is between us and the alliance,
00:11:28basically Nissan and the alliance partners,
00:11:311.8 billion dollars have been invested in the country.
00:11:34And this is separate from the new products that we are bringing in.
00:11:37We've launched 13 models in the country and along with that,
00:11:40right now we have this one success vehicle which has lasted us for the past five years.
00:11:45And we've sold 240,000 units of the Magnite, which is the foundation of our success.
00:11:50And therefore going to the next step.
00:11:54If I move ahead from here, what's really important is what you get to see here.
00:11:58India driving Nissan's global reach.
00:12:00Right now we export to over 65 countries.
00:12:03And we have the Nissan Magnite, which is sold in right-hand drive and left-hand drive formats.
00:12:11Along with that, you'd be very interested to know we still make the sunny in India.
00:12:15The car is made in Chennai and it is still exported to multiple countries overseas.
00:12:20Nissan is, by the way, in top five exporters of cars from India.
00:12:24And this is something we very proudly share with you,
00:12:27that Nissan is actually defying ordinary on the exports front as well.
00:12:31And of course, India remains the second largest export hub for Nissan in the AMEO region,
00:12:37which is Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceania.
00:12:40After Sunderland in UK, we are the second largest export hub for Nissan in AMEO.
00:12:47So that's some wonderful numbers that you get to see here.
00:12:51When we say Nissan is committed to India, what's really important is the year 2026.
00:12:56This is going to be a year for the brand resurgence for Nissan in India.
00:13:01We are bringing in all the products that we had committed to you,
00:13:04starting with the Nissan Gravite right now.
00:13:06And then of course, the Tecton comes in in the middle of the year.
00:13:09And then we are looking at another larger CSUV seven seater, which is following that.
00:13:13So in close succession, we are bringing in three new vehicles in almost twelve months from now.
00:13:19Therefore, the year of resurgence, which is going to be based on a product lineup,
00:13:22which is broadly SUVs.
00:13:24Along with that, Magnite remains in the stable.
00:13:27Many questions from many of you, will the Magnite stay?
00:13:30Yes, the Magnite will stay.
00:13:31It's the foundation of our success and it remains.
00:13:34And of course, a customer first product strategy, which you are going to get to see.
00:13:38Buy different segments, different vehicles, catering to those customers in that segment.
00:13:42Network is going to expand.
00:13:44Many questions from my media friends on the network side.
00:13:47This is going to now grow and grow sustainably.
00:13:50So this is for all of you.
00:13:51It is going to grow sustainably.
00:13:53So that's very important for you.
00:13:54And of course, we are going to leverage high growth markets to expand as we move ahead.
00:13:59Export remains one of our fundamental foundational pillars.
00:14:03And like we've said, in this year, financial year twenty-six, twenty-seven,
00:14:08we are going to cross one hundred thousand units of export from India.
00:14:11We continue to maintain our strong leadership position in this category,

00:14:46And the potential of this is per month potential of these four segments is almost two hundred and fifty thousand

00:55:44Similarly, all-new Nissan Gravite is going to be an invisible force, whichever the family
00:55:52who owns it, to keep the laws and nearest ones intact, and makes every ride memorable and

00:56:00When we started the launch event of Gravite, we have different plans.
00:56:04And also, the Indian value system, we believe on the positive words of the world.
00:56:09The world has the power.
00:56:11Somehow this Gravite started doing the magic.
00:56:13You can imagine, it has the most liked name reveal video.
00:56:22It was liked by everyone, voice over by top of the company.
00:56:26And then it demanded a theory from Dubai for the launch.

00:56:34I am 100% sure, with that same confidence, this car will pull the right customer to the Nissan

00:57:18We have got eight variants on the car, which is pretty interesting because you have got the B4D 1.0
00:57:24MT in five different variants.
00:57:27Vizia, Ascenta and Connecta, Tecna and the limited launch edition.
00:57:30And along with that, we have easy shift also on it, on three variants.
00:57:34So, we have total of eight variants.
00:57:36And what is really interesting is, it is coming very soon, we are going to be putting a dual cylinder
00:57:43kit on CNG, on this car, and it is going to be an aftermarket kit, but it is coming up
00:57:48very, very quickly, right after launch.
00:57:50In fact, we have a concept vehicle which is parked here for you and we are going to share that
00:57:55also with you.
00:57:56You can take a look at that and take some pictures on that as well.
00:57:59So, now, this is interesting.
00:58:02Everything that you see here is standard plus extendable.
00:58:05So, we have a warranty which is three years, 100,000 kilometers standard.
00:58:09You have a service which is two services free up to 10,000 kilometers and then it is all extendable
00:58:15on my left side.
00:58:16You can take the warranty which is best in segment up to 10 years, 200,000 kilometers, and you
00:58:23can have a prepaid maintenance pack up to five years, 50,000 kilometers.
00:58:28You pick it up, no escalation in cost of parts and labor, and for five years, you get that.
00:58:34So, this is an interesting combo.
00:58:35It's not over yet.
00:58:37We have the lowest maintenance cost amongst all MPVs at 40 paisa per kilometer.
00:58:41This is now getting even more interesting because this is just one statement out of many
00:58:46which I'm going to make now on the car.
