00:00All right, Tyler, I think Tyler needs this.
00:04Somebody I believe that Tyler and some Astro fans really despise.
00:10Tyler's holding up a turd.
00:12One of the founders.
00:14Joe Kelly.
00:15Joe Kelly, someone a 70-year-old man and Dusty Baker wanted to have at him
00:23and told him to get his ass back on the mound with a few other choice words.
00:28I forgot about that.
00:30Oh, did you?
00:30That was when Dusty turned Johnny, and he took it back.
00:34That's when you know when Dusty turned Johnny.
00:36But they're still talking about the scandal.
00:40They're still talking about the Astros cheating scandal.
00:43And here's Joe Kelly recently on a podcast,
00:46and I really think this is very disrespectful to an individual, a former Astro.
00:53I know it's disrespectful, but it is kind of cold-blooded as hell, though.
00:58And I believe Joe really means this.
01:00Here's Joe Kelly, who will not let this go.
01:02What were your thoughts initially when the Astros cheating scandal came out?
01:07I said, duh.
01:08I said, duh.
01:08There's no way these average players are f***ing barreling me,
01:11you know what I mean, this whole time.
01:12And there was already rumors.
01:14Everyone already knew.
01:14Players knew.
01:15You guys didn't know.
01:15Players knew they were cheating.
01:17You guys didn't know.
01:17Said, no s***, duh.
01:19Said, no way Jake Marizna could hit my f***ing slider.
01:21Get on the mirror, you little s***.
01:26This guy.
01:27Hey, man, why did I do that to Jake, man?
01:29Yeah, that was uncalled.
01:30Why did I do that to Jake?
01:32It was all good when he said average players.
01:34Then he put a name to it.
01:35Well, considering Seth Payne said we got three of those in the outfield right now,
01:39that's not a real good field for him.
01:40Yeah?
01:42Yeah, that's a โ€“ I mean, I'll be honest with you.
01:45He ain't wrong.
01:47That's exactly what I said, Tyler.
01:49But he is.
01:50He is not.
01:50He listed the one guy he could there, and it was pretty funny.
01:54I can admit that.
01:55But you don't want to talk about, like, the future Hall of Famers?
01:57Oh, yeah, they're just average.
01:59No, but that's what he said.
02:00They wouldn't be hitting off me.
02:01No, no.
02:01Like, I think the way Joe Kelly โ€“ and by the way, Joe Kelly is a four-eyed jackass.
02:07All right?
02:08I don't know why I call him a four-eyed, but he is.
02:10I liked it.
02:10Okay?
02:11Turd, jackass, whatever synonym you want to throw in there.
02:14But โ€“ but it wasn't Altuve โ€“ like, all right, Altuve got me.
02:18All right.
02:19Then Correa got me.
02:20Okay.
02:20All right, here.
02:21All right.
02:22Uli, he got me, too.
02:24Then Jake just coming in here, and I'm hitting it on the button.
02:27Now, wait just a damn minute.
02:29All right, now โ€“
02:30Marisny.
02:30Now, look here.
02:31Number six is not coming in here getting me.
02:33Jake Marisny.
02:34The hell with all this other stuff.
02:36Colby Rasmus, maybe.
02:39Colby Jack.
02:40I don't even think he was there yet.
02:41All right?
02:42Like โ€“ but you ain't bringing no fourth or fifth outfielder
02:45who was supposed to be a base stealer in a defensive replacement
02:48coming in here to hit me right on the screws every time.
02:51That's where he drew the line.
02:53I just love the fact that, you know,
02:55the Houston Astros are still completely rent-free up in that dude's dome.
02:59Yeah, he โ€“ no, they're โ€“
03:00Yeah, it's living.
03:01And I am not a fan of his at all.
03:02He may irk me worse than the other fellow that was with the Dodgers.
03:06What was his name?
03:07Cody.
03:08Cody Bellinger.
03:08He may irk me more than that.
03:10Like, I don't โ€“ his tough man act โ€“
03:12Yeah.
03:12I'm still trying to figure out, is Joe Kelly like some UFC dude
03:14or something like this?
03:15Does he have some kind of โ€“
03:16Hell no, man.
03:16Is there a level of whoop-ass in there somewhere that I don't know about?
03:18Hell no, man.
03:19Like, his tough guy persona is really, really suspect.
03:22And I hate it.
03:24But โ€“
03:26Look, I mean, I'm just โ€“
03:27When this was all going on,
03:28I remember going back and forth with guys in this studio of just like,
03:32you will never convince me that any percent of the time
03:38that guys knew pitches were coming, that it wasn't a huge advantage.
03:43Enormous.
03:43I mean, it just โ€“
03:44And guys, people would get mad at me.
03:47The text line would light up.
03:48Like, hey, man, everybody was doing it.
03:50Everybody was getting away with it.
03:51We did it better than everybody else.
03:53Great.
03:53I'm cool with it.
03:54I'm good with all the success we had.
03:56But if we're just talking about barreling up a pitch
04:00that Joe Kelly believes is one of the best pitches in baseball
04:03and an average player doing it, average hitter doing it,
04:07then I โ€“
04:08It is a movement on his pitch.
04:10The likelihood of that happening goes up significantly
04:13if said hitter knows which pitch is going to be.
04:15Hey, hey, you know good and hell well in that clubhouse,
04:20it was Jake who really bought it all over.
04:23I mean, like, of all the names to remember,
04:26like, that is random as hell.
04:30He wouldn't even remember Jake's name.
04:31No, no, that was the one.
04:34That was the guy like, hey, man, they went back and watched tape.
04:37Like, man, hey, man, this dude is squaring us all up.
04:40Like, tell you what, Marwin should get some of that JK too, though.
04:43I was going to say, who all is it you think?
04:46I remember Marwin.
04:47Marwin Gonzalez put together a season one time where he had a lot of RBIs.
04:51Yes, I know it.
04:51But, hell, like, sometimes I wondered if Jake could be that good,
04:56if he knew it was coming.
04:57That's what Joe Kelly.
04:59No, come on, man.
05:00No, no, serious, man.
05:01That's all you drawing the line, man.
05:03That's like, what was that dude, Corona?
05:05That's what that's like.
05:07The Corona coming up here and just hitting some of the top relievers in baseball
05:12and just drilling them.
05:13I mean, we're just, we're supposed to walk by.
05:16Like, nothing's happened.
05:18They have sat in that clubhouse and talked about Jake.
05:22That's all they talked about.
05:24That's just a random-ass name of a player to remember.
05:27He's been the topic of conversation on multiple occasions.
05:30Absolutely.
05:31I just love that this turd is literally stuck in 2017,
05:34and the banner's still up there over at the ballpark in Houston, I believe.
05:38Yeah, he grew up in the tough streets of Anaheim, so.
05:43Good street.
05:44He did.
05:44His dad did play for the Los Angeles Cobras in the American Football League.
05:48I knew he was a Kelly kid.
05:50Four-eyed turd.
05:51Yeah.
05:52Shout out to greatest from Corona High School.
05:55Joe Kelly?
05:56Yeah.
05:57Get on the mountain, little f***er.
06:00Five o'clock fire.
06:01We'll never get that from Joe.
06:03All right, this is becoming interesting in Miami as yesterday they got rid of,
06:11which you could understand, a couple of expensive players that, you know,
06:17they could lose, you know, a lot off the salary cap
06:21and be able to move on as they are rebuilding clearly in South Florida.
06:25It makes sense.
06:26Tyreek Hill coming off an injury, 31 years old, and Bradley Chubb, 29.
06:31It makes sense.
06:32Those are two guys that, all right, let's go ahead and shed some of this money.
06:38But then these reports are out, Clint, that wide receiver Jalen Wallenau,
06:42this is one of their young players, one of their players that you think like,
06:46hey, man, we want to build around here.
06:48He said reportedly he told the Dolphins front offense,
06:51me next after the release of Bradley Chubb and Tyreek Hill.
06:56Things may not be looking good in Miami.
06:58So is he going to try to force himself?
07:01I don't think Miami's going to let him.
07:03Like, those are the type of guys you keep him in A-Chown.
07:07I'll just say that for you, Tyler.
07:10But I don't think those guys, they're going to let go.
07:13But if they did, boy, I'm telling you, Jalen Wallenau would be a significant piece
07:18for people, or at least, hell, he may be trade bait.
07:23Maybe they would have considered it if they got some picks because they're clearly rebuilding.
07:27But I don't think so.
07:28Well, here's the deal with Jalen Wallenau.
07:30Now, he has disputed the report.
07:32And, you know, I believe he called it, it was actually retweeted it with the little blue cap emoji above
07:39it.
07:39So, clearly, he's denying that report that he's demanding any kind of trade.
07:44But it still doesn't mean that it's not possible.
07:50And I'm going to tell you, I would love to see him in a Texans uniform.
07:54If, indeed, he did become available.
07:55However he becomes available, I'd love to see the Texans in on that mix right there.
08:01Yeah, age 27, those are the kind of guys, the age that you kind of keep.
08:08But I don't know if that's where they're going to get lucky to go with.
08:14But I do think the Texans probably need a player, a skilled position player of that caliber.
08:21Because I do think the way this offense is and the way that Nick Haley wants to run it
08:27and CJ wants to run it, I think it's best.
08:30To have as many above-average weapons that you can have.
08:34Obviously, every team would like to.
08:35But I think even more here to create things.
08:38Because I don't know if they had enough guys that can go and just win.
08:43And they're not going to do, to be honest with you,
08:45I don't believe their offensive staff is going to do a lot of things to just get folks open.
08:51Yeah.
08:51Like that.
08:52Well, it's interesting.
08:53I say this.
08:55He would be really complimentary to your big-bodied outside receivers,
08:59Nico Collins and Jaden Higgins.
09:01Yeah.
09:02Now, with this offense, as you mentioned, I mean, they pride themselves on receiverless,
09:08you know, positionless receivers, if you will.
09:10As long as they can block, they can play anywhere.
09:13And so, I don't know that that really bodes well for a guy like that being brought in here.
09:17But, boy, if you just look at the receiver room in Houston, you know, a smaller,
09:23shiftier, twitchier wide receiver in that slot position would be โ€“ now,
09:31they may feel like Jalen Knoll is that guy, which I'm not saying he isn't.
09:34But we didn't โ€“ for some reason, he didn't get much run this year with a struggling
09:38Christian Kirk.
09:39So, but nonetheless, I mean, Jalen Waddell is a different level.
09:43That would be โ€“ as a Texans fan, I'd love to see that.
09:46So, we'll see what happens.
09:48We'll see.
09:48Miami is one to watch to see what other movement they make.
09:51They seem like they are really, really trying to rebuild.
09:55And how far would that go with that rebuild?
09:58Five o'clock fire.
09:59All right.
10:00This is one, I think, to really continue to keep an eye on.
10:04I don't know if this means a lot, but you start to think about everything they've got.
10:10Seattle, the Seahawks, who just recently won the Super Bowl.
10:14The Super Bowl MVP, Kenneth Walker III, they are unlikely to use a franchise tag on Kenneth
10:21Walker III.
10:22We are entering that time period where people are able to tag them.
10:25The Seahawks are unlikely to use their franchise or transition tag on running back and Super
10:30Bowl MVP, Kenneth Walker III.
10:33League sources tell Adam Schefter.
10:34The Seahawks have multiple free agents that they want to retain and sign, and the team
10:40would also try to extend the contract of wide receiver Jackson Smith and Jigva.
10:44Walker is slated to be an unrestricted free agent for the first time in March after playing
10:49the final year of his rookie deal with a salary number of $2.7 million.
10:54The projected cost for the franchise tag for running backs would be $14.5 million, $11.7
11:01for a transition tag.
11:02So when you start to think about they've got Smith and Jigva, they've got a corner, two
11:08guys that they really need to keep and potentially going to have to spend big money when you look
11:14at the cornerback and the wide receiver positions.
11:17I don't think, especially when Charbonnet went down, I thought like they're going to
11:23probably figure out a way.
11:25But Kenneth Walker is going to command a pretty good amount of money based off what he has
11:29done and now he finished his year.
11:31He's the opposite of C.J. Stroud.
11:34This could open the door for him not returning to Seattle.
11:39I mean, right now, letting it get to this point, you know, he's crazy to not open the
11:45door and hit free agency and see what the market demands.
11:48Because this is going to be the chance he makes.
11:50Oh, yeah.
11:50Well, he's going to be able to drive it north on Seattle and they're going to have to decide
11:55whether they want to match it or not.
11:56I love it.
11:57I mean, that means that this is one that the Texans damn sure should be in on.
12:02Yeah.
12:02Yeah.
12:03Yeah.
12:03Kenneth Walker is, he would fit exactly what I think a lot of teams are looking for, but
12:09he would fit exactly what this team would need because he gives you another weapon, multiple
12:15like him and Woody.
12:17That is that.
12:17Now that, that is something where you're like, all right, there we go.
12:21Oh, yeah.
12:21Make that move.
12:22What, what do you, what can you do with the interior front of this team?
12:26Because he, he's a guy that gets the ball out of the backfield and do things.
12:29And he's a guy that can, that can run it as well.
12:32So that, that, that is, that is one to watch.
12:35And I think obviously a lot of teams would be interested in Kenneth Walker.
12:39Look, I think it's, I think a lot of teams would be interested.
12:41How many of those teams other than Seattle are going to be in position to, you know, to,
12:47to make a run at a Superbowl.
12:49I think there's going to be three or four teams probably.
12:51I think the Texans are one of those teams and you got to think if the Texans are interested,
12:56they'll be in the mix.
12:57I mean, they were in the mix for Saquon Barkley.
12:59Same, same type of situation.
13:00When they landed Joe Mixon.
13:02And so I got to believe that given Kenneth Walker, you mean Breece Hall, a couple of,
13:08a couple of the top running backs that are going to be on the market.
13:10I got to believe the Texans are going to be at least in the mix on those, on those players.
13:14Five o'clock fire.
13:16All right.
13:16Last night, this cost Tyler a lot of money.
13:19What a night for the Heise family.
13:21His sister is an Olympian and she is playing hockey with the women and she scored a goal
13:28earlier in the day as they blinked, I believe, Sweden.
13:31And then he comes out and goes off and just hits threes.
13:34And he's, I mean, he, he went off and hit a big three to finally give them a lead.
13:38They, they beat Houston.
13:40They beat the Cougs 70 to 67.
13:42Um, and this is just really the big 12 right now.
13:46Uh, the Houston heads, they had them on Monday.
13:51They didn't go home to play Arizona who was undefeated before they lost twice last week.
13:56They were 23 and Oh, and the number one team of the country for like six, seven straight
14:00weeks.
14:01And then next Monday, they go to Kansas and play, uh, at Kansas.
14:06They've got three straight top 10 opponents coming up in the next three games.
14:10And that is, that is, that is the big 12, but.
