00:38What are you doing here at VivaTech 2023?
00:42Absolutely, thank you so much
00:43So we are Brellion, we are a Silicon Valley based company
00:47And we are creating a new category of displays
00:50That gives you sort of virtual experiences
00:53Without you having to put on a headset
00:55Because a lot of people like virtual reality
00:58But they don't like to put on headsets
00:59So we actually are introducing this product here in Europe
01:04For the first time
01:05So also reality gives you a 122 inch virtual image
01:09On your desk
01:10And we already have a lot of companies using it
01:12Okay, all right, so let's take a look at it
01:14Let's take a look
01:15Okay, all right, let's go
01:16So here it is
01:17So come with me please
01:19And well, tell me a little bit more
01:21So you were saying to me that 123 inch display, is that it?
01:26122, that's correct
01:28And so tell me a little bit, how does it work?
01:30So what we are doing is that we are sending the light through a set of optics
01:34And that optics basically processes the way front of the light
01:38And it makes it more flat
01:39And that gives you a type of depth that's called monocular depth
01:43Now, no other display in the world has this kind of depth
01:47So we are the first company that's actually giving you this kind of single eye depth
01:51So if you try and close one of your eyes
01:54You can still see the depth in this display
01:56I am trying, sorry, I am trying
01:59Yeah, and so this depth is much more comfortable to the eye
02:02And it also gives you that sensation of immersion
02:05It's as if you are looking into a virtual window
02:07So you can be actually closer to the screen
02:10But the image is optically further away
02:13Okay, all right
02:14And so yeah, just a point of view
02:17From my point of view, it's really immersive
02:20I guess that this is the main word
02:22This is the key word of it
02:23It's very immersive
02:24And so you were saying that you are the first one to do that
02:27And you were mentioning as well something very interesting
02:30People sometimes don't really want to put on a headset
02:34Is it?
02:36At some point, are you guys going to be making like a huge concurrence with Apple, for example
02:41Just release their headsets
02:42And we see that it's full of technology and it's getting incredible
02:46But yeah, is it going to be something better than Apple?
02:51I don't know
02:51That's a great question
02:52So I actually come from background of headsets
02:55And I've been talking about headsets for a long time
02:57And I think that there is a market for a headset
02:59Maybe 20% of the market would use a headset
03:03But it's very hard to imagine people using headsets for 8 hours a day, every day
03:07It's just a big commitment, you know, sitting on your face
03:10So we think that there should be an alternative for the rest of the population
03:14That still want to get that immersion
03:16They still want to get that depth and panorama
03:18But they don't want to wear a headset
03:20And so that's for that percentage of the population
03:22So we think, you know, this is a new emerging category
03:26That will go into the future along with headsets
03:28And so could you give me a few more details as well on what we can do?
03:33Basically, you were telling me that we can go into YouTube
03:35We can watch stock trading, for example
03:38We can play video games
03:39So what's, yeah, give me a few examples of what we can do with it
03:42Absolutely, so the depth mapping in this hardware
03:45Happens all inside the optics and inside the hardware
03:49So it's fully backward compatible
03:51Which means that you can just connect your, you know, laptop
03:53Your PlayStation or whatever that puts out on HDMI 2.1
03:57Or a DisplayPort
04:00And basically check your email or watch YouTube
04:03Any 2D content pretty much you can work with here
04:06Okay, and just in a couple of words very quickly
04:08What can VivaTech this year can bring you guys?
04:12Well, VivaTech has been very generous
04:14To sort of nominate us to be in this show
04:18And help us to be here
04:20So this is a really great gateway
04:23To explore the Europe market
04:25And we are lucky that we are already talking to a lot of customers here
04:29So hopefully this will lead to some of the partnerships going into the future
04:34Well, we really hope so for you
