00:12:17Ok, merci.
00:12:21Hi.
00:12:22How long does it take you to sign these first clients ?
00:12:25The UK, the Portuguese, the Spanish, it depends a bit.
00:12:29These first clients ?
00:12:30Like, the average ?
00:12:32It's between the first one we got in two weeks,
00:12:36but the average, I would say, between two to three months, more or less, ok ?
00:12:41Before considering the first contact,
00:12:43and when we are already implementing the solution on the field.
00:12:48Ok, thank you.
00:12:49Ladies and gentlemen, hands together for our first startup,
00:12:51Expect Your Tech.
00:12:52Thank you so much.
00:12:53Thank you.
00:12:54Pop it there, there we are.
00:12:56That's how it rolls.
00:12:57So, you can see how simple and easy that was.
00:13:00So, certainly our first startup pitches to you,
00:13:03pitches to our jury members and everybody else.
00:13:05Also, this reminds you, everything here is recorded online as well.
00:13:09So, every single word of this session,
00:13:12you can play back a hundred times if you want to,
00:13:15and you can see everything and all the startups
00:13:18and everything that's unfolded during this session.
00:13:20Right, we move on to our next startup of this session.
00:13:24Please, welcome to the stage a startup known as Purmi.
00:13:39Hello, hello.
00:13:41So, my name is João.
00:13:42I'm the CEO and co-founder of Purmi.
00:13:45So, anyone here ask at?
00:13:50You have?
00:13:51You have?
00:13:52So, if I said to you right now
00:13:54that your cat has a 33% probability of dying,
00:13:58what do you say?
00:14:02It's quite high, like.
00:14:04It was our family member is quite high.
00:14:07So, basically the problem is this, right?
00:14:09Right now, 32% of cats dies with chronic kidney disease.
00:14:16So, we are trying to solve that with a platform
00:14:19that basically customizes the experience
00:14:23and makes a personalized diet for each cat.
00:14:27We build an algorithm that can prevent
00:14:30the appearance of this disease and others,
00:14:34and then we suggest you a package with the best food,
00:14:37made by us two, with unique formulas with IP.
00:14:43So, this is our team.
00:14:46We have different backgrounds.
00:14:47We have veterinarians on the team.
00:14:49We have computer science.
00:14:50We have marketing.
00:14:51So, we have different skills.
00:14:54Right now, we have more than 50,000 cat owners registered on our platform.
00:14:59We are one of the fast-growing brands in Portugal right now.
00:15:03We have more than 6K in MRR growing 26% a month.
00:15:08It's quite high.
00:15:11Our business model is quite simple.
00:15:14So, we basically have a subscription-based model
00:15:17that has an average order value of 45,
00:15:20and we expect in the next 12 months to grow to 500,000 in revenue
00:15:26through this subscription.
00:15:27The market is quite high.
00:15:29So, in Europe, the cat food turnover is 20 billion,
00:15:33and there is no big brand or big player focusing on cats right now online.
00:15:41So, this is our competition, mostly the big generic brands,
00:15:45but they don't even have a website that you can sign up.
00:15:50So, they are pretty old school.
00:15:52We are trying to change that with a new approach to food
00:15:55and with a follow-up mentality with you.
00:15:59So, we are raising right now.
00:16:01We raised 100K, and we are raising 500 to the end of the year.
00:16:06So, if you have any questions, please contact me.
00:16:09There we are.
00:16:10Perdimi, well done.
00:16:12Right, let's hear how you've impressed or not the judges.
00:16:19Let's hear.
00:16:21Thank you very much, first of all.
00:16:23Thank you.
00:16:24The first question is, do you have a reseller circuit,
00:16:27or is it only through your team, through your brand?
00:16:32Yeah, it's through all.
00:16:33Yeah, it's a D2C model.
00:16:35We basically do all through production to the platform.
00:16:39But you don't have any intermediary that we sell for you, Arthur.
00:16:43It's directly you, distributors, sorry.
00:16:46Oh, distributors.
00:16:47No, no, no, no.
00:16:48We are all, like, all...
00:16:53The process is all done by us.
00:16:55We don't have distributors right now.
00:16:57So, it's like, it's a D2C model.
00:17:00So, it's like, pretty old school.
00:17:02And do you make the food yourself?
00:17:05Yeah, right now we made...
00:17:06We have a kitchen with several people working, right now producing the food.
00:17:10But we are going to partner up.
00:17:11So, we are patenting our formulas.
00:17:13So, it's really IP that we are building.
00:17:16Based on a PhD, these formulas are not, like, doing...
00:17:19It's done by veterinarians.
00:17:22When we do that, we are going to partner up with a big manufacturer that's going to produce the formulas
00:17:30to give us, like, the scale that we need to conquer other markets.
00:17:35Like, our plan is to go to Spain at the end of the year.
00:17:39So, we need this partnership.
00:17:44What about the dogs?
00:17:46That's important. Come on.
00:17:48And the dogs, yeah.
00:17:50We, right now, are focusing on cats.
00:17:52So, we have a big opportunity to grow.
00:17:55And the numbers show we have, like, 50,000 cat owners in less than a year through just organic and
00:18:02social referrals.
00:18:05So, we are going to continue to do that and continue to expand to Spain, as it's very similar.
00:18:14Then, in the future, we can think about dogs, for sure.
00:18:18They are easy clients.
00:18:20Cats are more...
00:18:21There are some opportunities here.
00:18:23Ladies and gentlemen, hands together for...
00:18:26Pardon me, there we are.
00:18:27What a question.
00:18:29What a question.
00:18:30What about the dogs?
00:18:31That's right.
00:18:31So, I mean, opening up, yeah, dogs, tortoises.
00:18:36Oh, there's a whole host of animals we can jump into.
00:18:40So, the opportunity grows as Pardon me gets bigger.
00:18:43Right.
00:18:43We move on now to our next startup.
00:18:46And, actually, as you can see here on my right-hand side, these beautiful, these beautiful, heavy, very heavy awards
00:18:56they are.
00:18:57You can look at them, and I know what you're thinking.
00:18:59Some of you...
00:19:00Somebody actually asked me, are they made out of bubble gum?
00:19:03All squished, all put together.
00:19:04They're not made out of bubble gum.
00:19:06They are.
00:19:06They are very valuable indeed.
00:19:08I'm not quite sure what they're made out of, but I certainly would love to have one of these on
00:19:13my shelf with nothing else.
00:19:18So, this would be my only award.
00:19:19But there we are.
00:19:20That is what they're going for.
00:19:21And we'll find out a little bit later who will walk away with one of these under their arm as
00:19:27they leave Paris back to sunny Portugal.
00:19:32We move on to our next startup.
00:19:35Please put your hands together for a startup very simply called Bud.
00:19:45Thank you, Peter.
00:19:47Hello.
00:19:47Hi.
00:19:48Good afternoon.
00:19:50Is it okay?
00:19:51Oh.
00:19:51Okay.
00:19:53Thanks for being here.
00:19:55I'm Mauricio, and I'm working with an amazing team to turn to make management easy and healthy.
00:20:01And yes, it's possible.
00:20:04Health and mental health is a big issue for organizations and for management, of course.
00:20:10Depression and anxiety cost an estimated $1 trillion per year in lost productivity.
00:20:16And unfortunately, individuals within organizations are sicker than ever.
00:20:23At the same time, we see a lot of leaders struggling to get things done without sacrificing mental health.
00:20:29Their own mental health and their team mental health.
00:20:33On the other hand, we see many, many, many organizations, and I'm sure that lots of you have already seen
00:20:39it.
00:20:40They are investing in trying to address those issues with initiatives outside work like benefits and wellness programs and lots
00:20:48of that.
00:20:51And even though there are lots of methods that are able, that are more healthy and are able to help,
00:20:59they are very complicated to adopt.
00:21:01We have many frameworks, practices, and tools.
00:21:05So that's why we create Bud.
00:21:07Bud is an AI-powered team management software that assists leaders in embracing those healthier management practices and methods.
00:21:17Basically, what we do, yes, we gather together the team in order to build the priorities and goals together in
00:21:24a collaborative way.
00:21:25So we bring everyone together around the same goals.
00:21:27We foster autonomy and clarity to the priorities.
00:21:31We stimulate collaboration and dialogue around those goals.
00:21:36And based on a weekly check-in with the team, we can gather all the information that our leaders need
00:21:42to take action.
00:21:43So we help leaders to take better actions.
00:21:45So we help leaders to contribute where people need it most.
00:21:49We encourage recognitions around team achievements.
00:21:52And we also help the leaders to create a climate of care, trust, and support, which is 5.7 times
00:21:59more correlated to performance and well-being than workload, for example.
00:22:06So we have been working with more than 400 leaders, 4,000 users, and 40 different customers from small companies
00:22:14to big ones like Unilever, DHL, Novo Nordisk.
00:22:19And we have been having great results, not only in terms of performance, but also in terms of motivation, engagement,
00:22:26and mainly well-being.
00:22:29But it's actually our second business.
00:22:32On our previous one, WIMI, one of the most relevant design and tech consultancies in Latin America.
00:22:38We had the opportunity to work with different kind of leaders, different kind of teams, and learn a lot about
00:22:43management.
00:22:44So we gathered all the experience with an A-plus team, with an amazing team.
00:22:49And, but it's just our first step.
00:22:52We want to be the first AI leader's assistant.
00:22:55So thank you.
00:22:57Let's change work together.
00:22:58Absolutely.
00:22:59There we are, Bart.
00:23:00Thank you so much.
00:23:01Right.
00:23:01Let's hear from our jury members about Bart.
00:23:05Yes.
00:23:06Congratulations.
00:23:07Thank you.
00:23:08Yeah.
00:23:08My first question would be, what's your business model and the pricing of the solution?
00:23:13Cool.
00:23:14So we basically have a subscription, but it's pretty simple.
00:23:19We want to make management simple, so we have to be simple.
00:23:21So we have three plans based on the number of users.
00:23:25So we get a limit of users and how we have to support.
00:23:30Because we also have a hands-on human support during the first steps.
00:23:34Because it's a habit, we have to support.
00:23:36And so we have three kinds of plans.
00:23:38It goes from 500 euros to, in average, 2,000 euros a month.
00:23:45Monthly, yeah.
00:23:47Congratulations because it was really clear and the slides also.
00:23:51Thank you.
00:23:52I believe there is a lot of competition in this field.
00:23:55How have you done to assign this kind of clients and how did you differentiate?
00:24:01Because I was not sure I understood this part.
00:24:03Cool.
00:24:04What we have been doing is we are designers from background.
00:24:09So we work very close with customers.
00:24:12So we try to address their issues very much.
00:24:15More than trying to surpass our competitors.
00:24:19But what we see is that usually the tools that you have for team management, people management,
00:24:25they are HR-centered.
00:24:27They're not leader-centered or team-centered.
00:24:30So our main customers are the leaders.
00:24:33They're not from HR.
00:24:35It turns out, in the end, HR buys.
00:24:37So the focus on well-being and the leaders in the team, I would say.
00:24:41Okay.
00:24:42Got it.
00:24:42Thank you.
00:24:43It's a very binary question, but who do you find is the most challenging to engage?
00:24:49The leaders or the team members?
00:24:51Good question.
00:24:52The leaders.
00:24:53Yeah.
00:24:54If you don't have a leader that is thinking about changing the way he or she is behaving,
00:25:03it's impossible to do it.
00:25:05So you have to have a tendency to change.
00:25:09And luckily, there are lots of leaders trying to change.
00:25:13So...
00:25:14One last question.
00:25:16Hey, how are you?
00:25:18We will never know.
00:25:19We will never know what that is.
00:25:21Never know.
00:25:22That's the secret question that we will never find out the other question.
00:25:26But you can have a chat together afterwards.
00:25:29We'll never know.
00:25:32Do we want to know?
00:25:33I don't know.
00:25:34Maybe we do.
00:25:36Anyway, right.
00:25:38There you go.
00:25:39Three minutes to pitch.
00:25:40So quick.
00:25:41Two minutes to ask questions and answer those questions even shorter.
00:25:45So, as you can see, questions come out.
00:25:48We'll never know those questions or answers.
00:25:50Also, just to remind you as well, again, you like what you hear.
00:25:53You're curious.
00:25:54You'd like to know more.
00:25:56Or maybe even you'd like to challenge some of the startups and the ideas.
00:26:01You think to yourself, the audacity of trying to do that.
00:26:04It will never work.
00:26:05Have a conversation and have those conversations with them.
00:26:08I'm looking at right now.
00:26:10Behind you.
00:26:11You can't see because you're looking this way.
00:26:12But behind you, there's a ring.
00:26:14Well, not just these rings.
00:26:16But there's a ring over there.
00:26:17Startup Portugal yellow.
00:26:19A yellow ring.
00:26:20Startup Portugal.
00:26:21Beneath that, that is where all the startups are.
00:26:24So again, have a conversation.
00:26:25Have a chat.
00:26:26I'm not sure whether there's free coffee there or drinks or no.
00:26:30There's nothing at all.
00:26:32But hey, that doesn't matter because the brightness and the colorful Portuguese people
00:26:36and the startups are all over there.
00:26:38So again, that's the place to be to have those conversations and take those forward.
00:26:43Right.
00:26:43Let's move on to our next startup right now in this Portuguese pitching competition.
00:26:48Please, welcome to the stage, Dioscope.
00:26:57Thank you.
00:26:58Can you listen to me?
00:27:00Yeah.
00:27:00Hey, nice to meet you.
00:27:02My name is Miguel.
00:27:03I'm the COO and medical doctor of Dioscope.
00:27:07And we are an all engaging medical knowledge platform.
00:27:14Healthcare is a big problem.
00:27:15There's a trilogy, a three-way relationship between us medical doctors, the roots of medical care,
00:27:23pharma companies on the other side, and in the middle, the providers.
00:27:27Medical knowledge doubles every 73 days.
00:27:30It's a lot.
00:27:31And I tell this from a personal perspective.
00:27:35It's very difficult to acquire that knowledge.
00:27:37Either you have a senior consultant that can answer your questions
00:27:41or you do what your patients do when you're not there.
00:27:45You Google the information.
00:27:47That's not efficient at all.
00:27:48And that doesn't allow for the pharma companies to keep us updating on their novelties.
00:27:54What have we done?
00:27:55We have built a platform, a single platform, that allow us both to share knowledge in terms of classes and
00:28:03in terms of medical courses.
00:28:05And at the same time, we've built a clinical decision support system to empower physicians in real time.
00:28:13So it's a fully customizable solution by the providers.
00:28:19And both the pharmaceutical industry and the providers can input their knowledge into our platform.
00:28:28So I'm going to center the presentation because it's two minutes.
00:28:31I'm going to center it on the solution itself from a healthcare provider assistant.
00:28:37It's a multi-award winning platform.
00:28:40They have a virtual assistant, 24-7, sharing knowledge with them at any hour of the day,
00:28:47fully customizable to wherever you are, whoever you are.
00:28:51At the same time, in the sense of the providers, they need efficiency.
00:28:56Healthcare in Europe is going through a bad time, let's say.
00:29:02National health services are hustling into giving better care to our patients.
00:29:09And medical doctors are also struggling to give that same care.
00:29:14Our no-code approach allows for everybody to take advantage of our platform
00:29:19and be more efficient when you are in the front line of giving care to your patients.
00:29:25The pharma industry. Here, they have a partner position, not as a vendor as they're often seen.
00:29:34Pharma companies lead investigation in medicine.
00:29:38So they're upfront in clinical investigation.
00:29:41They do the best for our patients, just as we do the medical doctors.
00:29:45And we want to empower them to reach medical doctors in a more direct and more customizable approach.
00:29:52Our traction. We've been live for four years now.
00:29:56We have around 8,000 healthcare professionals already engaged with the platform.
00:30:03Hundreds of thousands of hours of usage of our platforms and chatbot calls.
00:30:10We've been live since 2018. It was our CEO alone, a dermatologist alone with an idea.
00:30:17Right now we're in Brazil and Italy.
00:30:19We have a team of more than 250 doctors creating content and multiple awards already won.
00:30:28My time is up. So thank you very much. I don't want to go forward.
00:30:32I will allow you to interrupt me, please, because the time is up.
00:30:36Time is up. And you've finished on time. Deal, Scott. There we are.
00:30:40That gong tells us time was up. So you had a few more seconds.
00:30:43Right. Watch out. Just turn slightly that way.
00:30:46And let's hear what our jury felt about what you've just shared.
00:30:53Congrats for all of that. You just shared some KPIs with us.
00:30:57I just saw, I think it was 120K interaction, something like that.
00:31:02How do you manage this user adoption, basically?
00:31:08I didn't quite understand. Sorry. How do you manage the user adoption of the product?
00:31:15So there are two ways our platform works. One from home.
00:31:19The doctor can be at home consulting our knowledge. And one at the hospital.
00:31:23We have been around for five years now. We have a big adoption in terms of medical doctors
00:31:28with the 8,000 medical doctors already applied. So we go through the formal and the usual ways.
00:31:34Email marketing, social media. We send an email every time that a new protocol or a new course is up.
00:31:42So we tend to be more practical into medical doctors because we are medical doctors also.
00:31:48So we understand each other from medical doctor to medical doctor.
00:31:52From frontline medical provider to frontline medical provider on a very personal way.
00:32:01And how do you integrate with patient confidentiality and the use of the data in general?
00:32:09That's a very nice question. Normally new solutions want to engage with electronic health registrations.
00:32:16We don't. As the protocols are pre-made, are pre-set based on a common ground of knowledge of the
00:32:24best societies in the world
00:32:25and the leading innovation panels. We use to make pre-set protocols that don't need to interact with the patient.
00:32:34It's an immediate input from the medical doctor into the system without sharing any details.
00:32:40So basically it's... I didn't have the time to share that. V. Brown, it's a French manufacturer of surgical instruments.
00:32:52So it's... So it's... So it's... We will never know what it is.
00:32:57So say it, what it is quickly. So it's...
00:33:01Basically it's a tree of decision. The input is direct. You don't need to give any details on the personal
00:33:08history of the person.
00:33:10So nobody knows who the person is. Only you.
00:33:14Ladies and gentlemen, hands together for Dioscope. Well done.
00:33:16Thank you very much.
00:33:20There we are. There we are. We go through them again.
00:33:23And for you to make a decision who the winner is, you don't have to do that.
00:33:27I'm sure you have your own favourites. So do I.
00:33:29But that's not our decision. It's the decision of our jury members here on my left-hand side.
00:33:34They write down what they feel on the... I'm not going to look at that. I don't need to look
00:33:38at that.
00:33:38Looking at you, I have no idea what's going on through your mind.
00:33:42How you're feeling about what you've seen. A lot of poker faces at the moment.
00:33:46But we'll find out later on who you feel should walk away winners of our trophies here.
00:33:54Right. Let's move on to our next start-up. Please welcome to the stage...
00:33:58Fractal Mind.
00:34:11Hello. Okay. Much, much better. So, good afternoon. And good evening. And hola.
00:34:20I will just... Yeah. Okay. So, guys. I'm here to talk to you about Fractal Mind and our super-powered
00:34:27employee experience.
00:34:28So, what is the problem that we are trying to solve? It's the global engagement crisis.
00:34:34We all know about it, latest studies. This is a Gallup one about a global workforce report.
00:34:40You will see that 79% of employees are actually disengaged or actively disengaged, which is even worse.
00:34:48Which is treating lots of problems to companies and lots of costs.
00:34:5166% of employees are not thriving with their well-being. So, that's connected to not being engaged.
00:34:59Then, obviously, the pandemic didn't help to change that. It's slightly improving, but not to the rhythm that needs to
00:35:06happen.
00:35:08And then, stresses are at an all-time high of 44% in the same employee groups.
00:35:15And that's obviously turning into money. It costs around $7.8 trillion because of churn rate, retraining and recruitment to
00:35:26change to these people and obviously to the health issues.
00:35:28And it's 11% of GDP globally.
00:35:32Okay. So, how do we propose to solve this? So, we have created what we call the A-Team.
00:35:38So, the A-Team Suite is a gamified employee engagement solution.
00:35:42And it's called A-Team because every employee is a super-powered character. Okay? So, it's a bit of a
00:35:50game.
00:35:51We target operational KPIs and we try to transform that overall experience to be much more engaged.
00:35:57And we boost motivational levels and obviously align with the company goals.
00:36:03So, we use gamification. Everyone knows about it. I will jump through it because my time is almost up.
00:36:08So, but it's more than a gamification engine. So, we have a gamification platform, which is ours.
00:36:14We've been building it for the past seven years already, where we have lots of pre-built mechanics,
00:36:20lots of pre-building competitions, whether watch badges or places.
00:36:26And obviously, we also have a virtual economy. We have a store. We have training and so on and so
00:36:34forth.
00:36:35And obviously, we use this to the long-term engagement.
00:36:40And yeah. So, again, going just very quickly because time is of the essence here.
00:36:45So, we have mission badges, leaderboards, content, of course, and quizzes.
00:36:50And it's just the tip of the iceberg of the engaged employee life cycle.
00:36:55So, this can be applied from day one in recruitment where someone gets into a company.
00:37:02And actually, until the day it leaves, all the story could be of other employees could be on this program.
00:37:10And yeah. So, we are FractalMind. We have lots of clients already that are proving this.
00:37:15and we have results that show that works.
00:37:19There we are, ladies and gentlemen. FractalMind. Wonderful. Right.
00:37:25How are you? Good? You feeling okay?
00:37:27Yeah, yeah, yeah. I had too many slides.
00:37:29Oh, you had too many slides? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:37:31It's okay. Right. Turn around. Let's hear from our jury members about what they feel about FractalMind.
00:37:37Tell me. Tell me?
00:37:39Maybe, could you share with us one case study you're really proud about your solution?
00:37:44Well, if you see that one. So, first one is actually Vorten Winners.
00:37:48Vorten is a hardware retailer, 300 stores, 3,200 employees.
00:37:53And we start by gamifying all the sales floor stuff on the retail stores.
00:37:58And so, it was a very big project because we tailored it from day one.
00:38:02So, it was a big consultancy part for that one.
00:38:05And actually, this is where it all began.
00:38:07And the results were there because so many stores we were able to actually do the rollout
00:38:12and have pilot stores to control the evolution.
00:38:15And we can see there was a 6% sales revenue per employee,
00:38:1988% employee satisfaction, 62% employee engagement.
00:38:24And this retail chain actually became the first one in NPS during the same period of time.
00:38:31And it's a company which revenues 1.3 billion. So, 6% is quite important.
00:38:39And who do you sell this to? Is it sales ops? Is it HR?
00:38:43Well, usually the entrance is ops. It's always operational because this is the fastest one.
00:38:49They have more things to do. They are faster and they have more budgets, let's be honest.
00:38:53HR always wants to, but sometimes they don't have the funds to invest.
00:38:58But usually they came in, they come in on board with the guys from the ops.
00:39:03Thank you.
00:39:05And then marketing and everyone else.
00:39:07Are you founded or bootstrapped?
00:39:10Bootstrapped, 100%.
00:39:11Yeah.
00:39:1330 seconds on the clock. Anything else?
00:39:1720 seconds. Come on, come on.
00:39:18Any questions?
00:39:19No, no, can't do that. Can't do that, I'm afraid.
00:39:2230 seconds.
00:39:23You can do questions.
00:39:24I can do questions.
00:39:25Watch out, don't fall.
00:39:27Anything else? No, all happy. You're happy.
00:39:30You're happy. He's happy, definitely.
00:39:33Ladies and gentlemen, fractal mind. Well done.
00:39:35Thank you, everyone.
00:39:40Oh, ladies and gentlemen, isn't it great? Aren't we having much fun? Are we having fun here?
00:39:45Maybe not. I don't know.
00:39:46But I just, I just remind all of this is so good because Portugal, I remember I, many years ago,
00:39:53I lived, I actually lived in Portugal a long, long time ago, lived in, in Portugal.
00:39:57I actually, well, some of you might not even say it's Portugal. I lived on the island of Madeira. So
00:40:02I was on the, you from Madeira? Yeah, Madeira.
00:40:05So I lived on the island of Madeira. And I lived there for about a year and a half. And
00:40:08my, my Portuguese, not very good at all.
00:40:10However, there was one phrase that I just constantly kept hearing in Madeira. I just heard it all the time.
00:40:19And then I started to use it as, as much as I could as well, where I hear, heard it.
00:40:23And that phrase was very simply, nomadiga. So I would hear that nomadiga every time, which means apparently, you don't
00:40:32say. So I would hear that everywhere. And I would use that everywhere. And that, as you can see, 20
00:40:38years later, the only phrase I can say, nomadiga.
00:40:42Anyway, we move on to, those of you that are not Portuguese have no idea. Those of you that are
00:40:49from Madeira can hear, it's a bit strange in English when saying that phrase.
00:40:54Anyway, we move on quickly to our next startup right now. Please welcome to the, to the stage, Nir Soft.
00:41:15Okay, so my name is Roberto Freitas. I'm from Madeira. And I'm the co-founder of Nir Soft Solutions. So,
00:41:24Nir Soft Solutions,
00:41:26Nir Soft Solutions is a fintech company. And there's a problem making digital solutions for banks. It's complex, it's expensive,
00:41:38time consuming, and normally fails.
00:41:42So, another problem is that we have to make disruptive solutions. And integration with the different core banking systems and
00:41:51third party systems in a bank is a challenge.
00:41:53The solution we came up with is an integration layer that integrates with any core banking system. It offers an
00:42:03API service that is the same for any core banking system.
00:42:12And not only the core banking system, but always the third party systems are integrated the same way.
00:42:19So, in six months, experience of six years, we came up with a bank that we built from scratch in
00:42:29six months. Our solution is data driven, meaning that everything that is going on in the bank is stored in
00:42:39a data lake.
00:42:40And that data lake can be used for statistical dashboards and for helpless purposes. So, any decision that the bank
00:42:52has to make can be used using the data lake.
00:42:56So, we are B2C center. So, the end user for us, the clients is the main focus. Our products are
00:43:09only channel solutions, internet banking and mobile banking solutions, client areas, onboarding processes, and so on.
00:43:19This is an example of a mobile banking interface. This is a client's onboarding solution we have. And here, we
00:43:32focus in the UX process. So, the end user, the client is the focus for us.
00:43:40We are now in Europe, in Africa, in North America and South America. This is our gross balance for the
00:43:52last three years. This year, which isn't finished, we have 272k of profits.
00:44:00And this is what we want. We are here to get investment, so we can grow our commercial strategy and
00:44:10also our product strategy.
00:44:14And that's it. Thank you so much.
00:44:16Ladies and gentlemen, hands together for Nearsoft. Thank you so much. Right, let's hear again from our jury what they
00:44:22felt about what they've just heard.
00:44:26First of all, thank you. There was on a slide something B2B, thinking of B2C. Yes. How come?
00:44:35We are B2B in the means that we sell products to a bank. We offer the platform to include and
00:44:41create channels. But we are really focused in the end user.
00:44:46So, for us to make the best experience and many times to convince the banks that our options and our
00:44:57designs is the better option.
00:44:59It's kind of a struggle in the markets we play with. Because we are very based in Africa. The mentality
00:45:08switched in terms of the company I was.
00:45:11In that time, the developers had to go to Africa to work with the clients. And nowadays, that doesn't happen.
00:45:22There's a big approach between us, the banks and the end users many times.
00:45:34We've got another 60 seconds on the clock. And what kind of business model do you have?
00:45:41Our business model is B2B. But what we have is basically a product because it is very easy to use
00:45:51what we have and the experience, the solution we have and plug it in in the clients.
00:45:57So, our business model is straightforward.
00:46:05But how do you make money?
00:46:07Selling projects. Since we have six years experience and it's even easier, the more we do, it's easier to integrate
00:46:19with the clients.
00:46:19But our business is a project. Because our property is there. And we also have products.
00:46:27Another top three.
00:46:30Yes, we do. Ladies and gentlemen, hands together for Neersoft. Well done. Congratulations.
00:46:35There we are. Again, you'll agree with me. Another bold, concise idea, concept, sharing that here at the Pitch Studio.
00:46:43And again, our jury members are deeply, most of them are deeply looking down. I'm looking at what you're writing
00:46:50there.
00:46:50Is that, why are you drawing pictures on your, you should be working here. I don't know why you're just,
00:46:54he's doodling. No, I'm joking, he's not.
00:46:59Right, we move on. Number seven. Already, number seven of ten. We are going to hear now our seventh start
00:47:05-up, very simply called Demersions.
00:47:17Hello. Hello, everyone. So, my name is John Moreira. Okay. I'm the CTO of Demersions. And Demersions is a company
00:47:30that's been building massive solutions for the last ten years for some of the biggest companies in the world.
00:47:36But I'm here today to talk about our project, Medallia World. Okay. And Medallia World wants to be the operating
00:47:48system of the metaverse.
00:47:50What I mean by that is that we're building a platform that uses the foundation of spatial computing, blockchain and
00:48:00AI to build something that can be called the next step of technology.
00:48:06Technology for good. What that means now. Yeah. Thank you. What that means is that what we get is a
00:48:17platform that delivers on being capable of consuming and exploring huge digital twins, such as the one that we built
00:48:29for Madeira Island.
00:48:30And 750 square kilometers. And it's a platform that's built with a purpose, which is to fight climate change. What
00:48:41does that mean? That means that all of our users while using the platform are able to erase their own
00:48:49carbon footprint.
00:48:50It's also done through a commitment to education. It's done through a commitment to supporting technology that can make a
00:49:01difference. And all of it actuates through the cross-platform experience that you can enter from anywhere.
00:49:10It's done through the cross-platform experience that you can enter from anywhere. And all of it actuates through the
00:49:21cross-platform experience that you can enter from anywhere.
00:49:25It's also supported by three big pillars, which are the three great use cases. The first one being Medallia Entertainment.
00:49:34Of course, everything related to gaming.
00:49:35But also what we're doing with one of the biggest streaming providers right now, which is building a series based
00:49:46around RIP.
00:49:47You have then Medallia Impact, which relates with everything that we're doing regarding the fight against climate change. Also, underwater
00:49:58exploration.
00:49:59And I will highlight the work that we're doing with Fabien Cousteau, which is the grandson of the great Jacques
00:50:07Cousteau, that is working with us on this project of underwater exploration.
00:50:13And then you have the Medallia Toolset, which is the main bulk of what we do right now, that has
00:50:20carried us last year to 200k in sales, this year to a million in sales.
00:50:25And that is a great solution for brands and also real estate and all kinds of different solutions.
00:50:32There we are. Ladies and gentlemen, hands together for dimensions. Wonderful. Another bold, clear, concise pitch. Let's hear from our
00:50:40jury members about what they've just heard.
00:50:43Hello.
00:50:43Hi. You mentioned carbon capture. Is there a hardware part that I didn't understand or is it only digital?
00:50:56No. So three minutes is really hard to explain such a big project, right? When your goal is to save
00:51:03the world to three minutes, it's not enough. Okay.
00:51:05So the thing here is that we're working with several different projects, seven different partners that work on carbon capture.
00:51:13They work on underwater exploration and what those solutions, those experiences can make a better way for us to fight
00:51:24climate change.
00:51:25So we're investing in those projects. We're working with those projects.
00:51:29And that's how we create our own impact credits that combine green credits, blue credits, so that we can erase
00:51:37the carbon footprint of our users.
00:51:40Okay, got it. Okay. Thank you.
00:51:44How long does it take to create all those digital twins you just mentioned?
00:51:48It depends a lot on the complexity and the size. Something like Madeira took months of work, but we can
00:51:55create digital twins in weeks, some days.
00:51:58It depends on the kind of capture, the kind of all the specifics, but you can all come and try
00:52:06Medallia on the PwC France booth because they're one of our first partners and they're the ones exhibiting Medallia is
00:52:17full power.
00:52:17So please come by and try it.
00:52:22And who are you selling to?
00:52:24So we're selling to corporates on a B2B subscription where we're going to be selling to final users in September
00:52:33when it opens publicly.
00:52:34And we're selling to organizations, to countries even, on all kinds of possibilities that the digital twin can make possible.
00:52:46There we are, ladies and gentlemen, hands together for dimensions. Well done. Pop the microphone there. Thank you so much.
00:52:52Already, again, I can certainly choose a winner. Could you? Maybe, I'm sure you have a favourite one or two
00:52:59perhaps.
00:52:59These guys here on my left, it's their job not to just draw pictures like this gentleman here.
00:53:05However, it's also to come up with a winner, three winners of this, of this pitching competition to decide who
00:53:14walks away a winner of this competition.
00:53:17But again, remember, here in this format, they're winners. Fair enough.
00:53:21However, naturally, every single one of these concepts, startups sharing their ideas, again, they are kind of winners in a
00:53:28way because it's up to you.
00:53:29Hopefully, inspires you to have a conversation and take those conversations further and see where they actually lead.
00:53:37Let's move on now to our next startup. Please welcome number eight, eight of 10.
00:53:42So almost at the end of our whole session together, please welcome Foot AR.
00:53:53Hello guys. Yes, hello guys. My name is David Olin and I'll be showing you how you're changing sports today
00:54:01through augmented reality.
00:54:03With what we called NOSM augmented reality second screen app that empowers live sports experience.
00:54:12Did you know that 3.5 billion people watched live sports events last year?
00:54:19Just last week for the Champions League final football Champions League final there was what there was 450 million seeing
00:54:31online, you know, so that's huge.
00:54:34And the broadcast that's the power of sports is to bring people together and there's the broadcast final is the
00:54:41same for everyone.
00:54:42But we are not everyone, we are custom, we are not the same, we don't like the same, why should
00:54:48the broadcast of the sports should be the same?
00:54:50So I'll provide some of the examples of what we do, bringing the layer of intelligent data associated with sports
00:54:59because using our data or using at least today, there's no chance that we can access smart data like this.
00:55:09Instead of just saying there's a shot, we provide the chance using XG of answering or telling what's the percentage
00:55:16of that shot.
00:55:17Also for the AR which is the new method and the new way of captivating new audiences is changing and
00:55:26sports need to address these younger audiences.
00:55:29Imagine that we combine both of them in one world, yeah, meet Foot AR which basically works as a Shazam
00:55:36for sports.
00:55:37How does it work? You pick up your phone, you see the TV on our API to find which sports
00:55:43event is happening and boom, it unlocks this standard stadium where you can actually look at colors and understand who
00:55:51played good or bad at any given time.
00:55:55It gives advanced analytics and highlights for you to see the replay that you really like and e-commerce.
00:56:03So Cristiano Ronaldo just scored a goal, I want to track his shoes in AR, you know, I can tell
00:56:08you all about these features on our stand.
00:56:10We are on the intersection of betting sports data and AR. We have this on our nano subscription but also
00:56:19as a rev share for our clients which will be the sports stakeholders or that eventually will take the solution
00:56:25to the B2C.
00:56:27Looking at KPIs, we are already upselling the current partnerships by enhancing and extending the sponsorship agreement towards the actual
00:56:36fans.
00:56:37Regarding the partners, we like to define ourselves from citizens of the world in the way that we have been
00:56:43pitching and started from Madeira.
00:56:47But like Cristiano Ronaldo, okay, and start to conquering sports world. We already had some grants and funding but I
00:56:56like to focus is that we are now focusing on Apple AR glasses, for example, with Vision OS.
00:57:01So my question is, are you ready? My name is David Ali and this is Foot AR.
00:57:06There we are, Foot AR, Foot AR.
00:57:09Foot AR, Madeira.
00:57:10It's great. Are you from Madeira?
00:57:12Yes, I am. Yes, I am. Born and raised.
00:57:14Born and raised, you look like a man from Madeira. Right.
00:57:18Thank you.
00:57:18Normal Deligo. Right. So let's...
00:57:21Hello guys.
00:57:21Let's hear from our jury members.
00:57:26Thank you for the pitch. I'm quite curious about the betting part you just mentioned earlier.
00:57:31The betting works on when the event is happening. It basically unlocks a new window of not of combining these
00:57:38smart stats or smart suggestions or whatever and combining it to the integration of betting.
00:57:44So the player Karim Benzema will just take a penalty. I would based on historical data and using the API
00:57:55that we use, we are contextualizing and making a value proposition for the bet just by clicking there.
00:58:01And going towards the betting house. So that's how easy it gets to bet on our environment.
00:58:08Thank you. Very nice t-shirt.
00:58:11Thank you. You like it. This is the team, okay?
00:58:13Okay.
00:58:14They are always here with me.
00:58:16And maybe my question is, how do you integrate with the soccer league's rights or IP or however that works?
00:58:25We get data from elsewhere. So we have our partner is one of the biggest data providers in the world.
00:58:31So they have this data that are synchronizing live with any event that basically you can bet there's data for
00:58:37it.
00:58:38And we are combining within our platform. And we use, we can customize or can integrate through an API or
00:58:46through an actual SDK. But we are trying to make it easier to validate this kind of experience by using
00:58:54just a web AR link that they use within their own platform.
00:58:59They are for generating more fan engagement, but still having the fan inside their platform, because that's ultimately what they
00:59:06want.
00:59:07And so the name of your startup is Food AR, but why not other sports? Why did you limit it
00:59:13to football?
00:59:14Definitely other sports. Football is just the first use case, but then definitely we'll launch other specifically tennis and Formula
00:59:22One.
00:59:23Ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen, hands together, Full Foot AR. Well done.
00:59:27Thank you guys.
00:59:27Fantastic.
00:59:30There we go. There we go. Not yet. Not yet. Not yet. Hold on. It's okay. Keen. I know you're
00:59:36keen. You're eager. You're ready.
00:59:40This is what happens. I will do an introduction. They will clap. They will go wild. And then you will
00:59:45come on. Okay. Right. Ladies and gentlemen, you got that? We got that? Okay. Right. You go. Don't hold back.
00:59:50Jack, are you from Madeira? No? Certainly not. Is that what you're saying? Maybe, maybe your grandparents were from Madeira.
00:59:59Anyway, we move on because this is not the Madeira pitching competition. However, however, we will now find out who
01:00:07number nine is our ninth.
01:00:09You're not a number. Certainly not. You're a startup. Startup ready to share your big idea.
01:00:13Please put your hands together for startup known as Ilof.
01:00:22Hello, everyone. I'm Luis. I'm CEO of Ilof. And we're building a cloud-based intelligent platform to completely transform the
01:00:31way that drug discovery is performed.
01:00:33And the reason why that's important is that for the past centuries, new treatments have been developed based on the
01:00:39idea that the same medication works equally for everyone.
01:00:43Which unfortunately, as we all know, it's not the case. And you can take Alzheimer's as a clear example.
01:00:48Just in the last 20 years, more than 400 clinical trials failed and only very few treatments were actually reaching
01:00:57the final stages with only one approved with very mild results.
01:01:01And the reason for that is that heterogeneous diseases such as Alzheimer's are incredibly hard to crack.
01:01:08There's a failure of this one-fits-all drug approach. So you need tools that can take the heterogeneity of
01:01:14patients into account.
01:01:16But the trials that have been trying to take this heterogeneity into account have been facing massive challenges.
01:01:21They use invasive techniques. They're difficult to access. And this causes 90% of the patients on these trials to
01:01:29drop out.
01:01:29So how many more drugs will be abandoned? Promising drugs or that evaluation seriously delayed because of this issue?
01:01:38This is a question that we've been asking at ILOF for the last five years. And this has been the
01:01:43heart and soul of our mission at ILOF.
01:01:46ILOF is building a cloud-based library of disease biomarkers and biological profiles aimed at completely transforming the patient screening
01:01:55and completely transforming the drug discovery process.
01:01:59We're integrating massive amounts of clinical data to create rapid phenotyping and prediction tools.
01:02:06And currently we're already working with some of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world with a clear view of
01:02:12how we'll become also a Health Insights platform.
01:02:16This is a quick case study of how we help a biotech company in Oxford cut 70% of the
01:02:23time and 40% of the cost while making the whole patient journey a lot more convenient.
01:02:28To the people participating in the trial. The model that we use to help these trials is a subscription-based
01:02:36platform as a fee model built for early impact.
01:02:39Where there's a component, a fixed component, but most of the revenue actually comes from a variable fee that correlates
01:02:46to the value that we create to these farmers.
01:02:48And the future vision is really to use AI to accelerate the development of personalized treatments for complex diseases in
01:02:55new areas such as oncology and infectious diseases.
01:02:59So we've raised now close to 10 million. We are working with some of the best pharmaceutical companies in the
01:03:06world and we put together a team of scientists,
01:03:09entrepreneurs and inventors based in Porto and spread out a little bit throughout Europe with a clear focus and the
01:03:15passion of transforming personalized medicine.
01:03:18So today we ask you all to join us as we completely revolutionize the way we develop personalized treatments while
01:03:25hopefully contributing to our world without Alzheimer's.
01:03:29There we are right on time. Perfectly on time. Right. Let's hear what our jury feel about what you've just
01:03:35shared.
01:03:37Hi. So what kind of regulations do you have to deal with for this kind of business?
01:03:44Yes. So currently we're working on the drug discovery space. So we're under the research only tool, research only exception.
01:03:54There's no regulation on that. We just need to prove to our pharma partners that we add value and that's
01:03:59what we've done well in the last five years.
01:04:01So people can just use it while you have validated this, right?
01:04:06Yes. When we have, we are currently already working with paying customers.
01:04:11Great.
01:04:13And do you find the patients yourselves or is it your partners that do this?
01:04:18Yes. So normally we work with hospitals and well with the clinical partners that as pharma are already collaborating.
01:04:23We put the platform to their disposal where they can identify the super respondents to the trial.
01:04:29And we do that in a completely non-invasive way.
01:04:34So basically we cut time, we cut costs and we avoid 90% of the patients dropping out of the
01:04:40trials because it's a very invasive trial.
01:04:44And can you sell it internationally or you have to deal with each country's relations?
01:04:52So that's the beauty of starting in the drug discovery space. We can sell and are selling to global pharmaceutical
01:04:58companies.
01:05:00Normally the research only use exception works mostly the same way everywhere.
01:05:06And that's actually what allowed us to go well, what I believe was so far in so little time.
01:05:12What about the competition?
01:05:15There is competition. We wouldn't be tackling a billion dollar problem if there wasn't.
01:05:19We believe that we distinguish ourselves through collecting massive amounts of data, more than 5,000 different data points collected,
01:05:27key partnerships with clinical centers and the world class team.
01:05:31And there's tech, but there's no time to come to cover that.
01:05:35There we are, ladies and gentlemen, hands together for iLife.
01:05:38Thank you so much.
01:05:38Fantastic. Thank you. Well done.
01:05:41There we are. Number nine. That was number nine already. Number nine already.
01:05:45And we now move on, what, to number 10, our 10th of 10 great startups coming out of Portugal,
01:05:52really showcasing the talent and showcasing really what they're about.
01:05:56Now, again, hoping, not just hoping, but seeing if that actually sparks a conversation either here at the end of
01:06:03this session,
01:06:04over there at the Startup Portugal area or somewhere else around Viva Tech as well, just to start those conversations.
01:06:19I think, hello? Is that, can you hear me?
01:06:26I think we were having another feed coming through.
01:06:29Maybe they can hear this feed on the other one. I don't know. Maybe, I don't know.
01:06:33Anyway, let's move on. I don't know what that was. We move on right on to our 10th, our 10th
01:06:39startup of this Portugal Startup Pitching Competition.
01:06:43Please, welcome to the stage, Cork Brick.
01:06:51Hello, hello. Hello, hello. My name is Miguel. I will introduce you to Cork Brick, but I'll start by inviting
01:07:02Catarina.
01:07:05So, me and my dad were traveling to Morocco brainstorming ideas of what we could do with our 100 meters
01:07:11squared attic.
01:07:11We wanted something flexible enough to have a guest room when needed and just have an open space when not
01:07:18needed.
01:07:19And so, we searched everywhere in the market and we couldn't find anything that would give us this flexibility of
01:07:25users.
01:07:26And so, we created Cork Brick.
01:07:30So, what is Cork Brick? Cork Brick is about seven different blocks that can give you a lot of configurations
01:07:36in the same space.
01:07:37You can mount and dismount. You can do it yourself. You can do it with your children. You can do
01:07:42it with your grandparents.
01:07:45I launched as a challenge to my daughter. How can we create something like that?
01:07:49And the only thing that I said, well, probably you need to use Cork. Why?
01:07:52Because Cork is a product of nature with characteristics that you cannot copy.
01:07:56And in our case, perfect characteristics because we wanted something light, sound and temperature insulator and easy for people to
01:08:06create.
01:08:06So, with only seven pieces, each piece is 20 centimeters, less than one kilo, everyone can mount and dismount.
01:08:14You don't need tools, you don't need screws, you don't need glues, nothing.
01:08:18And you can build whatever you like, in minutes. And if you don't use it anymore, you can transform it
01:08:23into something else.
01:08:31So, as you could see, I invited my daughter because she couldn't come here, so she was present during the
01:08:38video.
01:08:39But now, okay. This company started irregularly because it all started with a conversation my daughters could see, but we
01:08:47end up creating a new paradigm.
01:08:49And the disruptive behavior, because for the first time in history, any of us can become the architect of our
01:08:55own space.
01:08:56This looks like simple, but makes a whole difference even in terms of sustainability, because saves time and improves the
01:09:03logistics of everything.
01:09:04And we reuse always, because we can use cord brick for all our life.
01:09:11And that is something so obvious that we end up creating.
01:09:16The market that we have is a very big market, and we divide it into residential and commercial and public
01:09:22spaces.
01:09:23We work with museums, we work with private homes, we work with companies, flex office furniture.
01:09:32And we position ourselves in a different way, because all solutions that we know, the conventional solution, one object is
01:09:42always one object.
01:09:44In the case of cord brick, you can always change. So, it's really a different paradigm, a different behavior.
01:09:53The story started with my daughter, but now we are 265 investors in 30 countries, including the vice president of
01:10:00Lego, for instance, which is fun.
01:10:03A company is more than just a product and a business, it's the people behind it.
01:10:07And we intended to enlarge as much as possible, the model.
01:10:13The business we started producing recently, in prototype production, and we are now raising to automate the production, and being
01:10:23able to move from 400 limit day to 12,000.
01:10:28There we are, ladies and gentlemen, cord brick. Thank you so much. Right, let's hear from our jury members.
01:10:37Thank you for this and for the video. My question is, is there any IP around cord brick?
01:10:44Yes, it's a patent system.
01:10:45And how defensible is the core? It's the system, the interconnection system, that looks basic, but physically speaking, this means
01:10:55that as we grow, and interlocking, the structure becomes more stable.
01:11:01So physically, the forces, the gravity, is distributed evenly through all the structure.
01:11:12What's the composition of the...
01:11:15This is cork.
01:11:16It's cork, only cork.
01:11:17Only cork, and the glue that we created.
01:11:19Okay.
01:11:20And that's it. And you can even eat it. There are better things to eat, but you can eat it.
01:11:24It's good to taste?
01:11:25You can.
01:11:26And how much is... So what's the pricing of the cork?
01:11:29One cork brick, for you to have an idea, is 10 euros.
01:11:3210 euros.
01:11:33A square meter is about 250, and depending on the solution that you build.
01:11:37Can you build a house with it, or it's only for inside stuff?
01:11:42In theory, you can, but it's better for the inside, because you want to change, you want to move.
01:11:49So you can imagine that you get a new child, you can create a different room.
01:11:54You are hosting someone, and you can create a room.
01:11:57Or you need to do a part, you can create tables, benches, whatever.
01:12:02So that's a new concept that we are launching, basically.
01:12:06And what about the durability? How long does it last?
01:12:10Yeah. Our idea is to offer lifetime warranty.
01:12:14Currently, we are just offering five years, because of legal issues.
01:12:18But we are planning to offer lifetime warranty, because we want you to keep you for your grandchildren.
01:12:24Like your vehicles.
01:12:26Maybe there is a discussion to have with Viviatek. Maybe they could be a good customer, good partner.
01:12:31To what?
01:12:32With Viviatek, you can talk with them, maybe there is something to do with it.
01:12:35Yeah, yeah.
01:12:36Yeah, we can make a pitch studio with this.
01:12:39You can, you can.
01:12:40And then we can eat it.
01:12:41Next year.
01:12:41Right.
01:12:41Ladies and gentlemen, that's together for cork brick.
01:12:47Yeah.
01:12:48Next year, everything made a cork here at Viviatek.
01:12:51Right.
01:12:52Ladies and gentlemen, guess what?
01:12:54Believe it or not, we have just listened, experienced a little piece of Portugal right
01:12:59here on stage through ten different, innovative, diverse, you'll agree with me, and intriguing ideas.
01:13:07So what happens now is our Giro members very shortly, they will leave the stage and they
01:13:12will join Eduardo.
01:13:14Eduardo will then take them off somewhere, I don't know where, in a dark cave somewhere.
01:13:20Very, very, hold on just a second.
01:13:21They will go off somewhere to, to secretly decide who are one winner.
01:13:26When I said there were three, there are actually just one.
01:13:29I got confused because there were three up here.
01:13:31So it's actually only, only one lucky winner.
01:13:35One lucky winner will walk away, winner of this Portuguese pitching competition.
01:13:40But before they do that, just let me say thank you.
01:13:43Thank you to our Giro members for giving up your expertise, your knowledge, but more importantly,
01:13:49your time that you've given us here on stage.
01:13:52Ladies and gentlemen, hands together for our Giro members here on stage.
01:13:59He's like, yeah, thank you so much.
01:14:01Right.
01:14:01There you go.
01:14:02Stand up and go with Eduardo.
01:14:04Very, very quickly, we will come up with one ultimate winner of this competition.
01:14:09But in the meantime right now, just to, again, to give us a little bit more of really what's happening
01:14:15in Portugal,
01:14:16what's coming out of Portugal, what Startup Portugal is really doing, let's have a look at a couple of videos
01:14:21to give us a little bit more flavor of what this is all about.
