00:51Many had waited for hours to be the first to make New Year's wishes at midnight.
00:57I'm very happy and excited.
00:59We should be in the first ten people for the 12 a.m. incense queue.
01:03I arrived at 6 p.m. and have been queuing for several hours already.
01:07I came early.
01:09Among the worshippers was the 95-year-old Hong Kong actress Lana Wang, a familiar face for
01:14the temple celebrations, dressed as ever as the Chinese goddess of mercy, Wan Yin.
01:20I wish everyone good health and that their wishes come true.
01:24And whatever they aim for will be met with success.
01:29And it's not just China that celebrates the Lunar New Year.
01:32The feast is also marked in Korea and Vietnam, where it is known as Tet, and which had its
