00:07It's part of the lunar calendar and today marks the first day of the year of the horse.
00:12It's thought by many here to bring optimism and opportunity.
00:17For this new year, I hope for a healthy family and good work.
00:23I hope for health for myself and for my family.
00:27I hope I can graduate from grad school and find a job.
00:33I want to earn money, of course. Everyone wants to earn money.
00:38I want to have money. More money than this year.
00:45Red envelopes filled with money are a traditional gift at this time of year.
00:49They're also thought to ward off evil spirits.
00:51Also traditional, firecrackers, although they've been restricted in some big cities.
00:56But the most traditional of all, spending time with your family.
