00:00Long ago, my party left me, along with millions of British voters who were let down and betrayed
00:09by those who claimed to be putting our country first, but when in office, failed to do so

00:24And it was hard. I must admit, it was hard to leave the party I'd been a member of for
00:30so long, because I joined the Conservative Party at the age of 14. I, like so many of
00:38you, were inspired by Margaret Thatcher.
00:47Now, Mrs Thatcher was a Prime Minister who never let our country down and always stood
00:54firm for Britain.
