00:05it's been a really really special week it's been a big week of making this
00:10decision the phone call at first was wow but the more I spoke to Ross and and
00:19other members of the community the more it became obvious that I've got to give
00:24this a go I feel the mayor should be fully independent and that is me being
00:29a part of the media which all of you are it's it's an incredibly tough industry it
00:35can be brutal as what I've experienced in so many other former members of NBN so
00:40the brutality of media and what I've learnt from that moving over I think
00:46they're really important skills but through all of that what is the most
00:50important thing it's that connection to community so I look forward to working
00:54with the labor members I look forward to working with Greens council as
00:58independents the liberals whatever it takes to move forward and make this
01:03city make great decisions in the future
