00:00Is there anybody that would be super fun to play with or maybe try to get your first tackle against?
00:06Yeah, I don't know. I think being on any team with the duck on there would be pretty sweet.
00:11But I'd love to tackle Bo Nix as my first tackle.
00:16That's so good.
00:17So you're super unique in many ways, the walk-on mentality, but also as a dual sport athlete.
00:24What is your ultimate goal?
00:26You've got MLB, NFL. Is your goal both? Is it to specialize in one?
00:32Yeah, I mean, it's, you know, all kind of up in the air right now.
00:35It kind of just depends on the NFL draft and how that goes.
00:38I want to pursue football right now, given where my career has been this past year.
00:41And I feel like I got a solid start and, you know, a bright future in that.
00:45Baseball is still on the table. I don't want to say I'm never going to play baseball again.
00:48I still love baseball. But right now I'm focused on football.
00:52Do you feel like you have to choose? Like, is that something that you think about?
00:56Like, all right, at some point I need to pick here?
00:58Yeah, I think at this point, this is when I need to pick.
01:01I think I need to establish myself in one professionally before I go back to the other.
01:05You know, if I get drafted in a good spot and the opportunity is right.
01:07You know, like I said, I love football and I'm going to go all out football.
01:10But yeah, you know, I think, you know, later down the road, once I'm established in one of them,
01:15maybe, which I think right now it has to be football.
01:17You know, I have to establish myself in the league and football.
01:20Maybe, you know, GM would be cool with me playing some baseball in the offseason and see how that goes.
01:24But, you know, we'll have that conversation when it gets there.
