00:00What's the agenda for today, tomorrow? What do you plan to do?
00:04Agenda is meet the leaders, most importantly. Meet the leaders and meet other humans that
00:09are leading the businesses here in Caracas and in Venezuela. Build personal relationships and
00:16connections so we can communicate better. And obviously after that we'll go out to meet very
00:22important humans as well that are producing oil on the ground on Thursday, both in the oil field,
00:28the upgrader near the coast and people loading oil and gas in the industry. But this is an attempt
00:35to transform the trajectory of a nation without troops on the ground, without bullets being fired,
00:42just through commerce. What's the message from the business community? Have they been calling you?
00:47Are they excited to come back in? Are they still a little bit concerned? Tremendous, absolutely
00:52overwhelming interest to come into Venezuela. You know, Americans are enterprising capitalists,
00:58we produce oil and gas all around the world. So of course the interest there is tremendous.
01:02So it's when can we go? What can we do? How does this work? And so we're going down again
01:07to just
01:08further those discussions about building the conditions to more rapidly bring capital in
01:12and grow their energy production. I'm guessing you spoke to Trump before the-
01:15I got dinner with him last night. Oh, dinner. Okay, so what'd you guys discuss?
01:20Well, we discussed a lot of issues. What was his message? It wasn't just Venezuela.
01:24Trump's message to the people of Venezuela and to the world is if you can engage in peaceful
01:30commerce and trade with the United States and your allies, the world's a better place.
