00:00It's been more than 10 days since TV star Savannah Guthrie's mom, Nancy, went missing,
00:04dragged out of her home in the dead of night. A second deadline set in a ransom note has now
00:10come and gone. We are still nowhere. Just a few hours before that deadline expired,
00:16Savannah posted another emotional plea to her Instagram, begging for the public's help.
00:20So I'm coming on just to ask you, not just for your prayers, but no matter where you are,
00:26even if you're far from Tucson, if you see anything, you hear anything, if there's
00:32anything at all that seems strange to you, that you report to law enforcement.
00:41We are at an hour of desperation and we need your help. The silence from purported kidnappers begs the
00:49question, is someone actually holding this poor grandmother hostage? Chris Swecker, a former
00:55assistant director of the FBI, isn't so sure. Here he is on Fox News.
00:59The question really is, and I'm very skeptical of this, is, is this really a kidnapping? Do,
01:04does somebody really have her and is she really alive? And I don't think we have the answers to
01:09that question right now. I don't think she's been, that her proof of life has been credibly
01:15authenticated at this point.
01:17Pressed further, Swecker suggested an alternative scenario I think a lot of people have considered
01:23by now, that this was really a home invasion gone bad and Nancy isn't being kept prisoner
01:29somewhere. In fact, the Bitcoin wallet, where the alleged kidnappers directed ransom funds to be
01:35sent, still stands at zero dollars as I am recording this. Meanwhile, the hard work of
01:41investigating continues, something Savannah acknowledged in her recent post. The most recent
01:47development, a camera, which was pointed at Nancy Guthrie's driveway, has been removed by investigators.
