00:00Over 15 years, the miners of Gold Rush have discovered gold all over the world.
00:10There's some gold right there.
00:12Now, on the ultimate guide to where to find gold.
00:17Here we go.
00:18Every gold miner's looking for stuff like this.
00:21Oh my God.
00:23The miners follow a trail from the Earth's core.
00:27I think the gold's over there.
00:34To the ocean floor.
00:39From Papua New Guinea's fiery volcanoes.
00:43To the alluvial plains of the Klondike.
00:47We reveal where the gold is.
00:50Well, let's see what we're going to find down here.
00:53Boom! Look at that.
00:55How it got there.
00:56Telling you, Dustin, that's where the gold's at.
00:59And how to find it.
01:01People search their whole life for this.
01:13Fire it up.
01:14Here we go.
01:22In the Yukon, for six short months, the hunt for gold is a frenzy to strike it rich.
01:30Let's get that gold!
01:31But this rare, precious metal has been mined for over 6,000 years.
01:39Have a look at the size of that, mate.
01:41Jeez.
01:42And in that time, more than 170,000 tons has been discovered.
01:49Yee-haw!
01:50It's the backbone of the world's economy and is used in nearly every piece of modern technology.
01:58But its journey to your phone began billions of years ago.
02:06The Earth's gold formed when a gigantic star exploded.
02:11Four and a half billion years ago, dust and debris of the dead star combined together to form the Earth.
02:20With molten minerals, iron and gold at its core.
02:24This hot liquid is known as magma.
02:30When molten magma is ejected through volcanoes, it cools and hardens into veins of quartz and gold, known as motherlodes.
02:41These are the source of gold and are found worldwide.
02:46Over time, glaciers, rain, and rivers erode these veins, carrying gold down the mountains and into valleys below,
02:57depositing it as it travels until rivers finally carry any remaining gold out to sea.
03:06Hey, let's get some gold!
03:08There's still an estimated 50,000 tons left to be found, but the hunt to find it is anything but easy.
03:27Wow!
03:28All right, well, shall we go hike a volcano?
03:30In 2019, Parker Schnabel goes looking for gold at its source on the slopes of an active volcano, Mount Tverver, in Papua New Guinea.
03:43Yeah, it's good to figure out what's going on around here.
03:45Basically looking for any excuse for climbing an active volcano.
03:48Oh, yeah.
03:51Every year, this remote island nation produces over $2.6 billion worth of gold.
04:00Oh, yeah.
04:02Holy...
04:03Holy cow.
04:04Oh, ho, ho, ho, ho!
04:06Look at that.
04:07This is awesome!
04:09I hope you've got your, like, learning cap on.
04:15Papua New Guinea is located in a region known as the Ring of Fire
04:20and has more than 60 volcanoes, the most in the Southwest Pacific.
04:26When tectonic plates covering the Earth's surface collide,
04:33earthquakes force mineral-rich magma up through the Earth's crust.
04:39The magma crystallizes, becoming a silica-rich fluid
04:43that pushes through cracks and forms veins of quartz and gold.
04:48Mining these is known as hard rock mining.
04:56Wow.
04:57Oh, my God.
04:58It's huge.
05:00Three years later, still searching for a mother load,
05:05Parker and his team travel to the other side of the Ring of Fire,
05:09to La Rinconada, in Peru.
05:11Located over 16,700 feet above sea level,
05:19this remote mining town produces almost 80,000 ounces of gold a year,
05:26worth more than $260 million.
05:29Hola, ¿qué tal? Buenos días.
05:37Oh, are we here?
05:43It's definitely something out of another world.
05:47All right.
05:49Here we go.
05:51Tunnel shafts are dug a mile into the mountain,
05:54where the crew search for the mother load veins.
05:57To remove a five-foot square area of gold-rich ore,
06:21the crew drill a network of 12 holes four feet into the rock.
06:27Each hole is then filled with 190 pounds of dynamite.
06:36OK.
06:37Carguenlo, por favor, maestro.
06:38Now we're going to load the holes.
06:41We're going to blow it up.
06:42Yeah.
06:43Yeah, and when you push, it has to be very careful.
06:46El primero error es el último error.
06:48Yeah, your first mistake is your last mistake.
06:52Boom.
06:52Three minutes to get out of the front door?
06:56Yeah.
07:00You ready, Dan?
07:01I'm ready, man.
07:03This seems so wrong with the lighter.
07:05Listen.
07:07What the...
07:07What the...
07:08Come on, nosotras, come on.
07:09Vámonos, vámonos, vámonos.
07:11Let's go.
07:11Vámonos, vámonos.
07:12Vámonos, vámonos.
07:13Vámonos, vámonos.
07:13Oops.
07:14Vámonos, vámonos.
07:14Vámonos, vámonos.
07:15Oh, my gosh.
07:15that was not that long we literally just got here that does not feel like it's a very long
07:32once all 12 explosions detonate the crew retrieve the blasted oar this is like the veins that
07:50they're looking for that's what they'll take and crush up and get gold out of there it is
07:55one there and one there very cool awesome because you are new to this mine you need to carry your or
08:06that was cool dude after the ore is crushed and processed the crew are left with pure gold oh
08:22oh look whoa I'm not sure I could do it as a business but like that was an experience like
08:30none other almost 17,000 feet unventilated mine site all by hand yeah I think the most hard
08:38more people we've ever met yeah all right still to come the claim starts right here
08:48the crew find gold as it journeys away from the mother lobe the big gold that we're looking for is
08:55going to be up one of these tributaries
08:56holy holy cow on this guide to finding gold we've followed its journey from the earth's core
09:15to quartz veins deep inside mountains your first mistake is your last mistake boom if miners can't
09:26access the gold rich veins they must follow gold's journey as it travels away from the mother lobe
09:34and the closer you are to the source the richer the ground should be
09:49tell me again where we're going a place called keynote city in 2018 rick ness searches for a fortune in gold
09:58high up in the Yukon mountains I did okay last year and it was all right and and like that's that's
10:09just not good enough for me you know what I mean like I want something better than okay he's on the hunt
10:15for the region's legendary big nuggets howdy fellas hi there interesting place you got here thank you
10:25it's beautiful that's for sure yeah the claims on rick's potential new mine site lay close to a massive
10:34mother load basically Mount Hinton is the mountain of the very tops of our claims yeah and it's a known
10:42gold source for this entire area hundreds of thousands of years ago a giant glacier eroded Mount Hinton's exposed
10:52gold veins plucking up debris and large gold nuggets the ice sheet bulldozed down the mountain carrying the gold
11:03with it when the ice melted it deposited pockets of coarse gold in the valley below
11:12wow holy no way what the hell oh any geologist will tell you by looking at some of that that we're not
11:27very far from the source some of it might not have moved 50 feet each of these nuggets is worth upwards
11:34of twenty thousand dollars this is just part of our collection they're probably twice as good when you
11:40get down there no that's that's that's I wasn't expecting this I wasn't either it's like finding that in a
11:48sluice box like that'll drive a guy nuts so now that you've got my interest
11:51let's find some nuggets in the hopes of catching Mount Hinton's nuggets Rick sets up what's called a
12:03placer mining operation let's go first he must dig out the glacial deposit of gold bearing dirt
12:14we're making money we are making money then use a wash plant and water to separate the heavier gold
12:25from the waste dirt I'm a little bit happy
12:30to shut her down
12:38what do you think it looks really good oh my gosh look at this it's sitting this loose
12:51dude I can't believe that dude wow look at that's the heaviest nugget I've ever felt people search
13:00their whole life for this type of material big smile on your face no you don't even know you don't
13:06this is like what dreams are men of what I know holy yeah Christmas came early that's like an ounce
13:17right there that's a beauty like that's worth some serious money this here is one of the reasons I'm
13:24here it's coming from right there Mount Hinton that's the source of all this big gold as far as I know
13:31that's bigger than anything Parker or Tony's pulled out of the ground I'm here to hunt for these and
13:37that's the first of many
13:47the awesome power of glaciers played a crucial role in the distribution of gold across the legendary Yukon
13:55Huffman territories and beyond
14:06boulders are freaking huge in 2016 a Huffman crew are trying to find their own glacial deposits of gold
14:15in Colorado's Rocky Mountains I've never really begun to see a boulder this size the Huffman's claim is littered with huge boulders
14:26and I got one down here that's even bigger than that
14:38big rocks can mean bigger and more gold it's a good sign but at the same time those big-ass rocks slow us way down
14:47thousands of years ago a massive glacier deposited these monster boulders and gold rich dirt across the claim
14:59then meltwater washed down dirt and gold leaving behind valuable pockets of gold under the boulders
15:07before they can get to the gold the crew have to clear the boulders
15:21you want what do you want to do Freddie I mean fireworks make big rocks into small rocks
15:52yeah let's frickin blow them up
15:59Freddie calls in master blaster Mark Mayer
16:04I love my job
16:07where else in the world do you get to go and blow things up on somebody else's property make a mess and let them clean it up
16:14to blast a 20,000 pound boulder Mark will use a stick and a half of dynamite
16:22the energy equivalent of this is on the order of about 100 million horsepower
16:29finish her up with sand that'll do
16:33let's get out of here
16:34the detonator box is wired ready to fire
16:4510 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1
16:53in the playbook on where to find gold the Hoffmans are chasing glacial gold deposits
17:08trapped under monster boulders
17:11fire in the hole
17:20bye bye boulders
17:21bye bye boulders
17:22you kind of love blasting
17:24you know I'm in free
17:25Mark kick ass man
17:28look at that
17:29no more big boulders
17:31that'll work
17:32that I can move
17:33good job Mark
17:35my pleasure
17:36bring it in
17:38and you get the excavator
17:39let's go
17:43that's all I needed just a little bit of help
17:46because it is loaded with gold
17:48the pockets of gold
17:51the pockets of gold found underneath the glacial boulders deliver the Hoffmans their best haul of the season
18:00105.2
18:02whoa
18:04proving that big boulders really can mean big gold
18:09that's a hell of a lot of gold in a short period of time
18:12this is just fantastic I love it
18:19glaciers are nature's conveyors
18:22slowly moving gold from the mother lode down the mountain
18:27but when these enormous bodies of ice melt
18:31they turn into fast flowing creeks
18:34that can rapidly carry gold on the next leg of its journey
18:42she's angry today
18:44it's not safe out here
18:45we're in a danger zone
18:48raging whitewater creeks
18:50are some of the most inaccessible
18:52and dangerous places to hunt for gold in the world
18:56holy cow
18:59and it takes a special breed of miner
19:02to take them on
19:04whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa
19:06this is dangerous
19:08this is dangerous
19:15so there's four claims that I'd like to go look at right now
19:18they're over the top of the mountains
19:20zero access, middle of nowhere
19:21it's pretty steep
19:23yeah, it does look steep
19:25but
19:27it's all there's good gold in it
19:29daredevil gold miner Dustin Hurt
19:31is searching for gold
19:33in the nugget rich creeks
19:35of Alaska's chill capped mountains
19:38what do you think?
19:40there's a lot of exposed water
19:42once you get out of that canyon
19:44so it's workable
19:46gold has been brought down these mountains by slow moving glaciers
19:53these then melt
19:56forming fast flowing creeks
19:58that can erode even more gold from exposed motherlode veins
20:03rapidly carrying it downstream
20:06and depositing it in plunge pools at the bottom of waterfalls
20:11big gold nuggets can be found sitting on the surface or just below the riverbed
20:19now here's the deal
20:21you're gonna dredge
20:23alright
20:25you're gonna find gold
20:27dredge, find gold
20:29alright guys, going in the water
20:35diver Carlos Menor must brave the whitewater
20:38using a hose to suck up pay dirt
20:42sending it to a floating dredge
20:45where riffles in the sluice runs
20:48will catch the gold
20:50we just gotta keep an eye on the watch on that one rock right there
20:54I don't like that
20:56the more he comes into the weir
20:58the steeper the wall gets
21:00the more chance of some of these rocks falling in on top of him
21:03so if they move
21:05I'll get them out of the way
21:06we do not want to crush the divers
21:14that looks pretty good
21:16this is a little bit deeper spot
21:20getting a lot of material out
21:22for sure
21:29Carlos get out of there
21:30some get him
21:34some get him
21:38alright?
21:39yeah
21:40did he get clipped?
21:42yeah, clipped him
21:43that was a close one dude
21:45good time to double down and check the box, huh?
21:47check the box, huh?
21:52I'm just curious
21:54did he get all the way?
21:56oh my god
21:58Carlos! Carlos!
22:00you ready for this?
22:02look what you just found, buddy
22:04look at that big
22:05that's at least four ounces
22:07that's the biggest nugget in gold rush history right there
22:21prized for its rarity and collectability
22:24this 5.8 ounce nugget is worth more than its weight in gold
22:31valued at over $25,000
22:35holy stinking moly man
22:38you see the size of that nugget?
22:39you see the size of that nugget
22:46these remote mountain plunge pools
22:48may still hold thousands of ounces of undiscovered treasures
22:53but gold's journey doesn't stop there
22:57when gold bearing creeks discharge into rivers
23:01the gold moves further downstream
23:05spreading out into the valleys below
23:07no matter what has to happen down here
23:11I'm getting gold on Indian River
23:13nowhere is there a better example of this
23:17than the legendary Klondike
23:19in the northwest of Canada
23:21here, multiple ancient rivers converge
23:25to concentrate gold deposits
23:27creating one of the richest regions in the world
23:30where placer crew
23:32like Parker Schnabel
23:34and Tony Beetz
23:35recover thousands of ounces every year
23:38keep her going
23:40keep her going
23:42hold on with it
23:44I'll take it
23:46thousands of years ago
23:48a river flowed through Parker and Tony's claims
23:51depositing ground down fine gold on the riverbed
23:54over time
23:56this was covered up by organic layers of dirt
23:59known as overburden
24:00trapping the gold below
24:03we got loads of dirt to move
24:05and we don't know very long ago
24:09recovering tiny flakes of gold
24:12buried under thousands of tons of worthless dirt
24:15is no easy task
24:18and crew must read the ground for clues on where to find it
24:23at the rate we're going
24:28we will not make it
24:30we don't have the ground that's providing the amount of gold we need
24:33to reach our goal
24:35in 2013
24:37a young Parker is mining an ancient riverbed on Scribner Creek
24:42a tributary of the Indian River
24:44but he's struggling to find good gold
24:48this ground we're on isn't quite doing what we need
24:57see the valley comes up this way and then it bends down
25:02makes a big turn in here
25:04you know we're mining up on the outside of the turn
25:06but heavy materials deposit on the inside of the turn
25:08we could have the best wash plant in the world but wash plant doesn't make gold
25:16good ground does
25:18when fast flowing water carrying gold hits the inside bend of a river
25:24it slows causing the heavy gold to sink and settle on the creek bed
25:32we're not very far away from where we're sluicing right now
25:36but you know that small of a distance can make a lot of difference in the gold
25:41to mine across the creek
25:44Parker will have to abandon the ground he's worked all season
25:48it's a high risk plan
25:51and he needs his foreman Gene Cheeseman to buy in on his hunch
25:55I think the gold's over there
25:57you know my honest opinion about it I think you know we need to stick over here
26:00it's just we need to find some better ground so
26:03I think that's fantasy land Parker
26:05yeah well we've got to do something
26:07and fantasy land might just be our next cut
26:10because if there's good gold over there
26:12I'm not afraid to move this whole show over there
26:14I hope your fantasies come true then
26:26this is what I was looking for
26:27this is what I was looking for
26:30as we reveal the secrets on where to find gold
26:35Parker Schnabel is on the hunt for a new pay streak
26:41I'm gonna grab a pan and do a test here and see what it looks like
26:46he's trying to prove his hunch
26:47that the inside bend of an ancient river holds gold that will lead to a monster payday
26:57oh god
27:02that flake in here is probably the biggest one I've panned out
27:06I mean this is promising though it's not too often that you can come over into a completely new area
27:17and within two hours have a bunch of gold in your pan
27:23nice little flake popped out
27:25it's never happened to me before
27:26all right Gene have fun mining with the crew I'm uh I'm picking gold
27:38Parker decides to move his operation to the inside bend of the river
27:44this is the first scoop of our thousand art test
27:47hope it's lucky
27:49and it pays out big
27:5375
27:5585
27:57delivering
27:59almost 500 ounces of gold
28:01in just four weeks
28:02the gold mining prodigy shows how reading the lay of the land can lead to a big score
28:16and it's a skill every miner must have as they track the ancient path of gold
28:22let's see we got it here
28:322023
28:34Rick Ness is attempting to decode the ground of his Duncan Creek claim
28:40what I'm looking for here is a bench up top where the creek ran at one time
28:44thousands of years ago a glacial river carrying fine gold ran through Rick's claim
28:53over time it eroded the ground
28:56cutting a valley and leaving gold deposits on higher ground known as benches
29:02Troy Taylor whose family mined this before I did
29:07they had really good luck up here
29:09they spent a day mining in this one particular spot
29:12and uh hit 400 houses
29:15there's no reason that it couldn't be another one of them days up here
29:18so I am excited about this spot this area
29:20hey Troy
29:26hey Rick
29:28how you doing
29:30I'm definitely on bedrock
29:32but I don't see a whole lot of gravel
29:35yeah it doesn't look too good eh
29:37no
29:39I think we may be just a little too low
29:41is where we were mining just over there there's a nice bedrock channel
29:43yeah
29:44yeah
29:45and it's at a higher elevation
29:47so this is this is the section you guys did
29:49yeah
29:50this is where we had 450 ounce cleanup
29:52yeah
29:53follow this as far as you can
29:55yeah
29:56alright thanks bud
29:57yeah
29:58yeah
29:59yeah
30:00yeah
30:03Troy showed me exactly where they left off
30:06and the channel that in mind previously is actually visible
30:10so I can dig straight down right here
30:12looks like it might be
30:17big down to a gravel area down there
30:20so that would be a good sign
30:22it's definitely undisturbed gravel that's for sure
30:26potential gold deposits on this kind of ground rest beneath multiple layers of dirt
30:34the first and thickest is the worthless overburden
30:41the second is the rocky material known as gravels
30:46finally the pay layer that sits on top of hard bedrock
30:52gold is concentrated between the bottom six inches of gravel
30:57and the top six inches of bedrock
30:59I'm gonna grab a pan and take it down the creek with me
31:03see what we got in here
31:11you're always waiting for that one time you
31:13you know you pull a pan and it's just
31:16the whole bottom's covered in gold
31:18it's never happened yet to me
31:20there's always that chance
31:25hey
31:27oh you got some dirt
31:29hey Buzz
31:31it's gonna be nice to see some gold in here
31:32it's gonna be nice to see some gold in here
31:42so many colors?
31:46yeah look at it
31:48gold gold gold gold gold gold
31:51that's awesome
31:53if we're gonna need a spot to go for gold I think this might be it
31:55rich
31:58runs the pay dirt from the bench
32:01and it delivers
32:03sixty two point four six
32:06seventy five point four six ounces
32:08yes
32:10almost six hundred ounces today worth nearly one point eight million dollars
32:15million dollars.
32:19That's a pile of gold, guys.
32:20Nice.
32:21Yeah.
32:27From ancient riverbeds, gold's journey
32:29continues onwards to its final destination.
32:33Yeah, you don't have these kind of problems in the Klondike.
32:36Oh!
32:37This is going to get interesting.
32:40Where crew, searching for a big payday,
32:43faced their most unexpected environment yet.
32:47There's a shark above us.
32:49Right above us, a shark.
32:50Oh, it's coming right at me.
32:59Holy crap.
33:01In 2015, a creature that walked the Earth 20,000 years ago
33:07returns to help the Hoffman crew find gold.
33:12All right, no.
33:14Geez.
33:15You know what they say?
33:17Where there's a mammoth tusk, there's good gold.
33:19Did Jack tell you that?
33:21All the old miners say that.
33:23Really?
33:24Where you start finding mammoth tusk,
33:25and you can smell that stinky, rotten smell,
33:28you're going to start finding gold.
33:30Hoping for a monster payday, they
33:33put the old-timers legend to the test.
33:36It's good.
33:38How good?
33:39Whoa!
33:40236 ounces.
33:43The old-timers said, where you find mammoth tusk,
33:47you find big gold.
33:48And you know what?
33:50They were right.
33:58Come hell out of water, that's where we're going.
34:02For millions of years, water has transported gold
34:07from the high mountains.
34:08So that's your pay zone, right?
34:10Yep.
34:11To lowland valleys.
34:13Well, let's see what we're going to find down here.
34:17And all the way to the coast.
34:19Holy , the oil just fell off.
34:29In 2013, the Huffman search for gold
34:33on Chapana Beach, Chile.
34:37Where do you want to start?
34:38Down by the water.
34:40OK, let's go.
34:44This will be a good spot to find color
34:46if this ocean brought stuff and washed it out
34:49It'll just tell us if there's color in it, not how much.
34:54Let's have a look at it.
34:55All right, all right.
34:56Let's go.
34:57It's my first time ever panning in the ocean.
35:02What the hell is that?
35:03Jellyfish.
35:04Yeah, you don't have these kind of problems
35:07in the Klondike.
35:08Oh.
35:09Whoa!
35:11This is going to get interesting.
35:15This is going to get interesting.
35:18One color.
35:21Two colors.
35:22Where?
35:23See it?
35:24Right there.
35:25Oh, yeah, yeah.
35:26Yeah.
35:27Right here?
35:28Yeah.
35:29There's two of them there.
35:30Well, now we know it's here, so...
35:32There's gold in the beach.
35:33From the beach, gold comes to its final destination.
35:43Let's go.
35:46We haven't done a lot of prospecting this trip,
35:48so I thought we would do a bit prospecting in the ocean.
35:51Something you'd ever be interested in?
35:53Um, I mean, under the right circumstances,
35:56I suppose I'd be interested in anything.
35:58But the thing is, um, there's a chance
36:01there could potentially be sharks.
36:04Parker Schnabel's quest for gold has brought him to the coast of New Zealand's North Island.
36:19The Coromandel mountain range is historically rich in gold.
36:26Creeks have eroded this gold from quartz veins, discharging it into the Tyrua River.
36:32The waterway quickly hits the coastline, dumping gold on the ocean floor.
36:42All right.
36:43G'day guys, how are we?
36:44Raleigh, hello.
36:45How's it?
36:46Good to see you.
36:47Raleigh.
36:48Parker.
36:49Parker, good to meet you.
36:50There's a rich gold history around here,
36:52and why not go search where people haven't searched before?
37:02Rock and roll.
37:03Good?
37:04Oh, yeah.
37:05All right, Parker, we're gonna try to sit down here, okay?
37:20We're going this way.
37:23Gotcha.
37:28Around here, there is a huge gold history,
37:30so there is every chance that we're going to be able to pull a sample off the bottom of the ocean floor,
37:35pan it, and there's some gold in it,
37:37which would be an incredible thing.
37:41Yeah, what you got, Parker, get your sample?
37:48What's your technique? Are you trying to go deeper into the substrate?
37:52Yeah, a little bit.
37:53It's just like a lot of these, like, shell fragments and stuff on the surface.
37:57Yeah, what happened, sir?
37:59It's upside down here.
38:01We're just gathering a sample,
38:04but you can tell all the fish are getting very interesting with the commotion.
38:08Yeah, we've got two large sharks just swimming around here,
38:10just off the stern of the boat.
38:12Just keep your eyes open, all right?
38:14Yeah, they can't see .
38:16There it is, right there, right in front of him,
38:21right bang next to him.
38:23There's a shark, Parker.
38:26Over to our left.
38:27Holy .
38:29There's a shark above us.
38:31Right above us, Parker.
38:33Oh, .
38:35Oh, it's coming right at me.
38:39Oh, .
38:42Oh, .
38:44Help out underneath me, Parker.
38:46Whoa.
38:48All right.
38:49Let's get out of here before we're going to let's get some fish.
38:52Yeah.
38:53Let's head back.
38:54We got what we can for.
38:56Let's get out of here.
38:57Yeah.
38:58Let's head back.
38:59We got what we can for.
39:12Good job, lads.
39:14Well done.
39:17Parker has collected test material from the seabed,
39:21the furthest place possible from gold source in the mountains.
39:26It's gone quite quiet.
39:27Don't, don't even.
39:30All right.
39:31Here's the moment of truth.
39:34.
39:35There it is.
39:36Shut up.
39:37What?
39:38There's heaps there.
39:39There is not.
39:40Is it?
39:41I guess I've got a big one there.
39:43Are you serious?
39:44Yes, come on, bro.
39:48Golden sharks.
39:50You've got to celebrate that.
39:52That is wild.
39:54There's like seven or eight pieces there and a bunch over there.
39:58Hang on a minute.
39:59I'm shaking.
40:00Unreal.
40:01This is amazing.
40:03What the ?
40:04That is awesome.
40:06Like the whole valley was a huge gold mine for hundreds of years.
40:10And that runs out into the very waters that we dove.
40:13But like, is that a good yield?
40:15So if I were on our mine site and I panned that much dirt and got that much gold,
40:19I would be like, we're going to have a good week.
40:21Like that's really good.
40:22Wow.
40:23This is like next level.
40:26This is Indiana Jones.
40:28There's actually gold.
40:30Quite a bit.
40:32Like, it could work out to a grade, but it's better than anything that we've ever mined.
40:38Including the 10 ounce an hour mud mountain.
40:42This is one that will go down in the books for me.
40:45Well, you need to keep that spot a secret.
40:47Just make sure you film the sign on the way out of town that says no mining in the Coromandel.
40:50Yeah.
40:51Because they keep it pretty safe.
40:52They're pretty passionate about here.
40:53So yeah.
40:54Yeah.
40:55I need to show you that gold will stay in the ocean.
40:56And that's probably where it should be protected by the sharks.
40:59Yeah.
41:00Yeah.
41:01Yeah.
41:02From gold bearing mother load veins.
41:07If we do it wrong, you'll never know.
41:09To ancient river beds.
41:11We're washing rocks, baby.
41:14And even on the ocean floor.
41:17That is the weirdest thing I've ever done.
41:19There is still trillions of dollars worth of gold to be found.
41:25Yeah.
41:26Yeah.
41:27Yeah.
41:28Yeah.
41:29Yeah.
41:30Yeah.
