Greek language day in Uzbekistan highlights a 3,000-year linguistic legacy

00:22The cross-border power of Greek was celebrated in Tashkent, where Uzbekistan marked International Greek Language Day at the Uzbekistan State World Language University, following UNESCO's decision to designate February 9 as the official day.
00:36New words of today, like algorithm or bioethics, which is very trendy, comes from Greek language, because scientists and researchers, when they discover something, even today, they go back to name it using terms of ancient Greek language.
