Asda has been hit with a £500,000 fine for repeatedly selling out-of-date food in one of its UK supermarkets.The retailer pleaded guilty to five offences under the Food Safety Act at Barnsley Magistrates Court and was ordered to pay £507,767 in fines and costs on January 29.
