00:00Let's go with the tradition of breaking this thing down.
00:02Who do you like in Super Bowl 60?
00:04I like the Seahawks, Dan.
00:07I'm not saying they're necessarily not going to cover the spread.
00:11I wouldn't be surprised at all if New England finds a way.
00:14You know, we're seeing that start to get back to five now.
00:18I even think there was a five and a half that popped.
00:22We'll see where that goes.
00:23But I just think they're the better team.
00:26And I think if both of these teams play the way they should,
00:29you know, and play a clean game,
00:31it should be a very good one.
00:34Like you allude to in the last segment,
00:35I think it'll be a very entertaining football game.
00:38I don't think it'll be a blowout one way or another.
00:41But at the end of the day,
00:42I believe the Seahawks are overall the better squad here and should win it.
00:47Will they win by margin?
00:48I wouldn't be surprised.
00:49But, you know, it feels more undecided for me, Dan,
00:54than Super Bowls of the past.
00:56This spread feels right on.
00:59I made it five when I crunched the stats.
01:02I come to six and a half.
01:03But I don't feel so confident running to the window and laying the price.
01:09The Patriots have, you know,
01:10seemingly done it time and time again throughout this entire season.
01:14They find a way to surprise us and do the seemingly impossible.
01:19And I wouldn't be surprised by that again.
01:21But, again, like I say,
01:23I think Seattle has the better squad here,
01:25the overall better defense.
01:26I think the overall better offense.
01:29Their coaching is incredible.
01:30And I'm really excited about the guy on the sidelines,
01:33Colin Plays here,
01:34that's going to be in Las Vegas in Clint Kubiak.
01:37Mike McDonald, tremendous job.
01:39So I think they're overall the better team.
01:41And that's where I'm going to go today.
01:43How about this?
01:45Do you believe that if New England does have a shot in this ball game,
01:48they've got to win on first and second down,
01:50which means they've got to get a run game going.
01:52And the real big suspect coming into this ball game this afternoon,
01:56it's got to be the Patriots offensive line versus that front seven of the
02:00Seattle Seahawks.
02:01Is that the battle of the game right there?
02:03That's certainly a big one.
02:05And you know another area,
02:07and you're right,
02:07the running back or the running game has to get going.
02:10The running back Ramondre Stevenson right out of my backyard here from
02:14Centennial High School in Las Vegas.
02:17So kind of,
02:18you know,
02:18a little homegrown kid there that we're rooting for a little bit,
02:21but yeah,
02:22he's got to be big.
02:23I think Travion Henderson has to show up.
02:25He hasn't really,
02:26you know,
02:26made any noise for a minute.
02:28Seems like since that Buffalo Bills game where he really went nuts.
02:32But another matchup that I think is very interesting is the Patriots and that
02:39pass rush.
02:40Okay.
02:41They never really had much of a pass rush throughout the entire regular
02:44season.
02:45And then all of a sudden it came alive in the post season against the
02:49Chargers and against the Texans specifically.
02:53But you look at those two teams,
02:55the Chargers we know were decimated by injury at offensive line.
02:58And the offensive line was never a strong point.
03:01In fact,
03:01it was a weak point for the Texans.
03:04Well,
03:04that's not necessarily the case here in Seattle.
03:06And so,
03:07you know,
03:08what we saw lately with that pass rush for new England,
03:11I think it's neutralized a little bit today.
03:13And that's a big difference as well.
03:15So the line of scrimmage,
03:16Dan,
03:17you know,
03:17is always huge,
03:18whether it's the running game for new England or the pass rush for new
03:22England.
03:22And I think both of those things have to come to play here today.
03:26And I'm not so sure they will.
03:28You know,
03:29Brady,
03:29I said to Adam Kaplan in the last hour,
03:33I said that,
03:34you know,
03:34one of the things that I love,
03:35and you mentioned it with Clint Kubiak,
03:38I'm going to be interested in to see how they move around JSN because kind
03:42of like Pukenakua with the Rams,
03:44they move him around the lot.
03:46They'll drop him in the slot.
03:47They'll go YZ with him.
03:49And so he's the key to this offense and the key to them moving the ball
03:52along with Walker.
03:53We do not agree that you want to win first and second down,
03:56but I'm going to,
03:57I'm going to be interested in to see how they use JSN in this ball game.
04:00Is he the key also for them in Seattle winning this ball game?
04:04He's obviously a big part.
04:06What a great player,
04:07you know,
04:07congratulations to him,
04:09offensive player of the year.
04:10And,
04:11you know,
04:11you can only hope to contain him.
04:13One of those guys,
04:14right?
04:14You're not going to shut him down completely.
04:17He's very,
04:17very good,
04:18but you know,
04:19we've had two weeks before,
04:21you know,
04:21getting here as well.
04:22And I think guys that are so creative,
04:24like Josh McDaniels and Clint Kubiak,
04:27they're going to find other ways because you and I are talking about Kenneth
04:30Walker and JSN.
04:32Obviously the Patriots,
04:33their focal point is probably going to be dead center.
04:36On those two guys,
04:37because they know those two guys can,
04:40you know,
04:40they,
04:40they are the big dogs that can really hurt you if you don't again,
04:44contain them.
04:45So I think we could possibly see some other little nuances as well.
04:49You know,
04:49AJ Barner,
04:50you know,
04:51Bobo.
04:52I mean,
04:52I think there's,
04:53and you talk about lining up JSN in different spots.
04:55Maybe there's some,
04:56some situations for him out of the backfield,
04:59Shahid out of the backfield.
05:00Everybody's seen every single game on tape at this point.
05:04So I think you're probably going to see some new looks.
05:07And we typically see that type of thing in the Superbowl.
05:10It's the last game of the year.
05:11You've got to pull out all the stops,
05:13the Philly specials,
05:14the flea flickers,
05:15all that stuff seems to show up here.
05:17You know,
05:18Jawan Jennings threw a touchdown pass to Christian McCaffrey a couple of years
05:21ago.
05:21So I think you're going to see some of that stuff,
05:25the focal point,
05:26you know,
05:26for the Seattle Seahawks offense and the new England defense has to be JSN
05:31and Kendall Walker.
05:32But I also believe you're going to see a lot of variety.
