02:36will come to you to be kept alive.
02:40You are to keep every kind of food that is to be eaten
02:43and store it away as food for you and for them.

03:08I want to preach for a little while today using as a subject,

03:34Out of the folklore tradition of the Netherlands,
03:37the story is told about a couple that lived in a cottage in the woods,
03:43and they looked outside one day and saw three old men sitting outside of their house.
03:51After some time elapsed, they decided to extend some congeniality.
03:56The wife went outside to those three men and invited them to come into the home and have a meal.
04:05When she met them, one of them said,
04:08you have to only invite one of us in.
04:12You can't invite all three.
04:15He said, my name is success.
04:18If you invite me into your house, success will always be in your house.
04:25He said, my friend who is next to me is named money.
04:32And if you invite money into the house, money will always be inside of your house.
04:40He says, but we've only got one last, and his name is love.
04:45And if you invite love into the house, then love will always be there.
04:53The three men said to the woman, go back into the house and ask your husband,
04:59which one of us do you want to come in?
05:03She went and had an ongoing discussion with her husband.
05:08And they finally came to the conclusion, and she came back outside and said,
05:13we have decided to let love come in the house.
05:19Love started following her into the house, but when she looked back,
05:23she saw money and success following love.
05:28She turned around and was confused and said,
05:31I thought you said only one could come in.
05:35And they said to her, when you invite love into the house,
05:39money and success will come right behind it.
05:46Too many of us are going after the wrong thing,
05:49and you still don't understand why your house is not a home.
05:55If you are not careful,
05:58your proverbial ankles will swell up.
06:02Bunions will develop on your brain.
06:05Because you have exerted so much energy chasing the wrong thing
06:10and chasing the wrong people.
06:14Can you imagine, and have you ever taken a moment to consider
06:18the emotional fatigue the creator must be experiencing in Genesis 6?
06:25Knowing that humanity is just three chapters old.
06:30It's three chapters old, and it's already getting on God's nerves.
06:34He decided to give them a lifelong deadline of 120 years,
06:41but it still doesn't stop them from acting up.
06:45The angelic are having copulation with mere mortals,
06:49and together they are breeding a despicable generation.
06:53And the Lord said, what a whole lot of you have been thinking.
06:59The Lord said, I'm sick of people.
07:04Not only am I sick of people, I'm tired of people.
07:08You have no interest at this tick of the watch to be engaged in small talk.
07:15You don't have the energy to decipher whether people are telling you the truth or not.
07:22You don't have any energy to try to figure out how many knives am I going to pull out of my back.
07:30I don't feel like hearing you complain when I know you are not serious about change.
07:38I do not have the temperament to deal with your rudeness.
07:44My patience is depleted from your selfishness.
07:49I got whiplash always having to look behind my shoulder.
07:55I need a therapist because of all of the trauma that you have inflicted,
08:00and now you pretend like you are the victim.
08:04Some of you came to New Orleans because you wanted to get away from some certain people.
08:09Some people that you didn't feel like being bothered with.
08:14So God calls a man by the name of Noah, and Noah's name means rest, and it means motion.
08:24In there what everybody needs in their life.
08:27Somebody in whom you can rest around.
08:32I want to be at peace knowing you are where you say you are.
08:37I want to be at peace knowing that my heart is safe, that my mind is at ease, that my spirit can finally relax.
08:46I don't want to have to be going over trying to wake up in the middle of the night, connecting the dots,
08:52knowing what you said had absolutely no truth.
08:58I want to know that I can have some rest, but not only that,
09:01I need people in my life who I can make moves with.
09:08It's a terrible thing when God blesses you and you don't know who it is that you can call.
09:13Because everybody is not genuinely happy about where it is that you get ready to go.
09:19Some of y'all ain't going to keep it 100.
09:21There's some folk who mad you are in New Orleans right now,
09:24and they are at home and they're trying to figure out how did you make it happen?
09:29Who did you sleep with?
09:30Who did you brown nose with?
09:32Who did you politic with?
09:34And they got no idea.
09:36Favor ain't fair.
09:37I didn't do nothing but be faithful over a few things.
09:41And God made me ruler over many.
09:45God says for those of you that can handle it, get ready that this summer you are getting ready to make some real moves.
09:54You are not going to be stuck.
09:56You are not going to be stagnant.
09:58And you are not going to be held hostage to who you used to be.
10:03Look at the person beside you and tell them within the next year.

10:38But God is going to change everything.
10:45So God forces Noah.
10:48God forces Noah to do what none of us enjoy doing.

11:09In the universe of video games, there are only two options.

11:29How many people betted against you?

12:00The Lord sent a PDF of the blueprint for the building of the ark that Noah was commissioned to handle.
12:12He posted it on LinkedIn.
12:13He posted it on LinkedIn and couldn't get a single response.
12:21He put it on Indeed and didn't gather not one inquiry.
12:28Nobody wanted to help him.
12:31I'm not even talking to you.
12:32I'm talking to the person behind you who understands it's unnerving to have an assignment and to have oil.
12:41But to have no assistance.
12:45There's some people in this room who have had to do some heavy lifting all by themselves.
12:51And folk have no idea that sometimes you had to be your own life coach.
12:56You had to sit in the car and had to stop yourself from crying.
13:00You had to tell yourself, I am not going to break down in front of my kids.
13:05You had to keep it together so you didn't kick over desk in the office.
13:10You had to remind yourself there's a part of you that's saved, that speaks in tongues.
13:15But it's another part of you that will cuss Negroes out.
13:19You trying to do everything you can to keep it together.
13:26Folk don't understand everything that you are juggling up against.
13:30Trying to pay student loans.
13:33Trying to take care of aging parents.
13:36Having to check adult children.
13:39Trying to make sure that everybody has what they need but nobody ever checks on you.
13:46Folk don't know that there's some nights you just sitting up in the bed looking at the ceiling.
13:51There's some days you drive past your own house.
13:55There are moments that you watch the phone ring because you know that everybody's calling you or just trying to get something.
14:02But nobody ever checks on you.
14:05But I need some people that made up in your mind that no weapon that is formed against me shall be able to prosper.
14:15I need somebody that knows if God be for me, who in the world can be against me?
14:23He's got no help and he's still building.
14:29And I want you to know, don't get discouraged.
14:33Because in spite of your absence of assistance, you're still going to get it done.
14:41Everybody, this is a life lesson.
14:43I need you to write this.
14:44I need you to tweet it.
14:45Everybody is not a builder.
14:48Everybody is not a builder.
14:52But based off of what you are creating, I am telling you, you are getting ready to float into your destiny.
15:01There are some of you who can only shout over what you have.
15:05But there are others of us who are giving God glory for what we're dreaming about.
15:10I know some of y'all don't have dreams and all you want is red bottoms and a Louis bag and a Gucci belt.
15:16But there are others of you who are thinking about generational wealth and thinking about creating a legacy for those that are coming behind you.
15:26Do me a favor just to throw off all of your enemies, not for your car, not for your clothes, not for your job.
15:32Would you do me a favor?
15:34Would you give God glory for your idea?
15:37Would you shout?
15:38Come on, I can't hear nobody.
15:40I said, would you shout for what your dream is?
15:43Would you give God glory for what you're believing is going to take place?
15:51You can't spend all of your days treading water, trying to make ends meet, arguing with people who are inconsequential.
16:01Please do not take constructive criticism from people that never built.
16:08Because if they haven't built anything, it's not constructive criticism.
16:12It is a demolition proof.
16:15That there is too much that God has assigned for your life.
16:20And I am believing that what you are building, that when it takes off, your family will never be the same.
16:27I am so excited that you are the one God chose to change your family history.
16:34Your last name is going to be redefined because of what it is that you are building.
16:40Nobody who is related to you will even understand how you came up with that concept and why you operate at that level of genius.
16:50You don't even have nothing in common with the people you were raised with.
16:54But God transferred you into that family to show your family what real favor is supposed to look like.

18:54He checks your faith first.
18:56And when he sees your faith, God will come up with the finances.
19:01There are some people who are looking at you crazy, but they don't understand God will never give you a dream that matches your budget.

19:17God will give you something that don't match your credit score.
19:21He'll give you something that don't match what you got in the bank.
