00:16Today we've got an interesting Week 11 matchup on tap, as it'll be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on the Buffalo Bills.
00:25With Charles Davis, as always, I'm Brandon Gordon, and Charles, you're talking about storylines in this one.
00:31I think it begins and ends with our two quarterbacks, certainly two of the best in the business.
00:36And nowadays, I don't think you can get by for long periods of time without a top-flight quarterback.
00:41The way the game is played, with all the responsibility he has and how the game flows through him,
00:46if he's not on the top of his game, your team's not going to benefit at all.
00:52And we are underway in Buffalo.
00:55And he's up past the 20 at the 22-yard line.
01:06That comes the offense for the Bills, led by their quarterback at 6'5", that's Josh Allen.
01:12And if you go by the numbers, he's had a Pro Bowl-type season, and maybe that's even selling him a little bit short.
01:19He's the NFL leader in touchdown passes to this point in the year,
01:22and with the end of the season not too far away, he's got his guys playing at a very high level.
01:27And he'll get this up past the 25 before he's out of bounds.

02:26And it's a huge return as he brings it all the way back down to the 15-yard line.
02:36Well, that is a quick lesson on how difficult this defense is to throw against an interception
02:47on their initial drive of the ball game.
02:49Now we know why their offensive staff spent the entire week awake trying to prepare for this one
02:54because you can't totally shy away from throwing the football.
02:58But at the same time, you're looking at them and going, where are the weaknesses?
03:01How are we going to move it?
03:02One of the top defenses in the NFL for a reason.
03:05We just saw one example right there.
03:07So the Bucs now in great shape to begin their initial possession.
03:12Under center, it's the 2017 Heisman Trophy winners.
03:16You get a look at Baker Mayfield.
03:18Would you say that last week's performance by him, workmanlike in terms of numbers?
03:22One touchdown, one pick, but obviously it was.
03:25Yeah, that's the bottom line for him.
03:27All he cares about is how do we find a way to win the game.
03:30Maybe leans on to a few other parts of the offense.
03:33And hopefully springs a receiver or two free.
03:36Well, there's plenty of real estate for him to maneuver on that run.
03:39And let's face it, it shouldn't be a surprise.
03:41He's one of the better backs in the league.
03:43He had to come into this game with the idea, slow him down.
03:48Touchdown!
03:50Cade Otten, his first touchdown of the year.
03:55And the Bucs have taken the early lead on the road here in Buffalo.
04:01Well, down in this part of the field, CD, they love to get him the football.
04:05And right there, a little pitch and catch for the score.
04:07Yeah, and he's such a weapon when it's that close to the end zone.
04:10And they love being able to rely on him to make those kind of catches.
04:13Talk about trust, talk about confidence, and he produces.

04:28And that one gives the Bucs a 7-0 lead.
04:40Well, that drive started with not a whole lot of real estate in front of them.
04:44And plots territory, excellent field position.

05:08The Bills' offense and their quarterback coming out for their second drive.
05:13And he's building his case for MVP consideration with each passing week.

05:33Going back to your game plan coming in.
05:36Everyone has matchups that they like better than others.

05:43Try and go to those spots and get your offense moving.

06:24And he'll be out of bounds taking it just shy of the 10 at the 11 or the 12.

09:53Part of their struggles last week was getting these negative plays on first and second down.

12:59So maybe that's the catalyst that they needed to get them back into this game.

15:49It's a six-yard gain on the ground, and that'll make it second at four.

15:56And as this drive goes on, we're seeing an offensive line and running game imposing its will.

16:05And he stopped immediately there.
16:09Just a gain of a yard there.

16:44Now, pressure's on defensively to prevent that pick from turning to points for the other side.

17:31Although his reputation as a speedy runner precedes him, it's always fun to watch him work.

17:37Because when you see him get the ball and just go, in addition to that speed, it helps out his blockers.

17:53They'll try to set up the screen.

18:00And that doesn't have to gain big yardage.
18:02It should be an impactful play because if you get those pass rushers second-guessing themselves,
18:06that they might get hit with a screen, maybe you can wind up slowing them down just a step.
18:11And if you do that, that's a win for that play.

44:52Because right here, he needs the best play of the game in order to keep this one alive.

46:42They were just a little too far out to get a decent look at the end zone for that last opportunity.

46:51So for Buffalo, they keep pace for a playoff spot as they move to 7-3.

47:02Meanwhile, for the Buccaneers, it's loss number five for them on the year.
