00:29almost all mercedes cars have in them now you must have heard about the park assist feature now how do
00:35you activate this feature we're going to tell you in this video but the feature is basically you enter
00:39a parking lot you activate it and the car searches a parking for you it parks itself on its own without
00:45you giving any inputs and not only parking it remembers the way out so basically if you just
00:51come to the car press a button once again it will just take you out the way it entered so you just
00:57have to drive off no effort needed and in today's video we're going to show you how this feature is
01:03activated and how exactly does it work we're in a basement and we'll be trying to park this in
01:07between some cars or if we find a like an empty space so stay tuned to this video and i hope this
01:13video will be informative and helpful okay so right now we have entered a parking lot and now let's
01:19activate this so you can do it in a couple of ways you can hit reverse or you can press this button
01:24over here so when you press this p button you can see you get this kind of a layout you have camera
01:30view and park assist you press this and now it is ready it says drive forward to search for a parking
01:39space so you put the car on d and you drive forward and once you're driving you will be able to see that
01:49it is searching for a parking now it will give you a couple of parking spots but you can choose to
01:56maybe park there or maybe park somewhere else depends for example it is showing right now but
02:04it is detecting whether the car will fit or no so we'll keep going forward
02:08and just a moment
02:17and there you go now it has found a parking spot now you can choose where you're going to park the
02:33car like this facing that side or maybe facing this side okay so i think it's not selecting right now
02:42but you can face it either ways now let us quickly park this you press this
02:48it's already selected on reverse and you just leave the brake and see what happens
02:54no inputs from my side no steering wheel no brakes just keeping it there so that just in case
03:08that is where it is showing it'll stop it'll go ahead everything is happening automatically
03:18there you go see the red marks
03:37now it says to exit the parking space with the active parking tap here so it remembers the place
03:50you just have to press this and there you go you can decide whether you want to go this side or this
03:55side so if you want to go this side start the procedure once again
04:00it says to engage reverse so we'll engage reverse and leave the brakes once again
04:09let it do whatever it's doing on its own there you go to show you a clear view
04:15there's a scooter parked right there and let's see okay it's a little
04:21being very careful not giving any inputs there's a scooter right in front
04:41it'll stop where the red marks are again reversing
04:46and there is a car behind
04:49there you go it's actually taking some time but it will get you out
