With MB.DRIVE, even parking becomes effortless. MB.DRIVE PARKING ASSIST10 detects parking spaces on both sides of the vehicle particularly early and, for the first time, also enables angled parking. The system also recognizes free parking spaces that are not marked by white lines. Furthermore, MB.DRIVE PARKING ASSIST can assist drivers when exiting parking spaces – even if the vehicle was parked manually. The system can now also park at speeds of up to 4 km/h.
MB.DRIVE PARKING ASSIST 360 makes maneuvering easier with improved and new surround-view displays from its 360-degree camera and a redesigned user interface. A highlight is the 3D surround-view display with an animated or transparent 3D vehicle model. It shows dynamic vehicle states in real time, such as brake lights, turn signals, open doors, folded exterior mirrors, and the precise rotation and steering angle of each wheel. The digital extra "Rim Protection Warning" adds a bird's-eye view distance warning to the maneuvering system, helping to protect the wheels from damage during maneuvering.
