For the first time, an optional illuminated Mercedes-Benz star on the hood, a 20 percent larger illuminated radiator grille, and new next-generation DIGITAL LIGHT headlights in a twin-star design with innovative micro-LED technology create a roughly 40 percent larger, high-resolution illumination field – together, they produce a striking, unmistakable S-Class light signature.
The specially developed Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) is the supercomputer of the new S-Class. It controls all domains and networks all systems into an intelligent ecosystem. In conjunction with the Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Cloud, it enables over-the-air updates for numerous vehicle functions, keeping the S-Class digitally up-to-date and future-proof.
Extensive sensor technology and a powerful new computer architecture enable next-generation driving and parking assistance. MB.DRIVE ASSIST PRO even supports a seamless point-to-point driving experience, even in dense city traffic – available at launch in China, later in the USA, and in other markets as soon as regulations permit.
The standard MBUX Superscreen and the latest generation of MBUX bring the AI-based "Hey Mercedes" assistant with natural dialogue, a zero-layer interface, and MBUX Surround Navigation based on Google Maps to the S-Class, making interaction an intuitive experience.
