00:00Hi guys and welcome to DriveSpark and in today's video we're going to talk about the Suzuki AXS 125.
00:05Now this scooter has been in the Indian market for a very long time and it is a very popular scooter as far as two wheelers are concerned over here.
00:13Now the AXS 125 has now been launched with an ABS version and this is really really good news for people who are going to buy the Suzuki AXS now.
00:23Now they have introduced the anti-lock brake system and they have also introduced an updated instrument console with this scooter.
00:29The prices for the AXS now starts at Rs. 92,328 which is the ex-showroom price deli.
00:37Now the AXS 125 ABS range has two variants. You have the Ride Connect ABS edition and then you have the Ride Connect TFT ABS edition.
00:46Now both the variants of the AXS 125 ABS are equipped with a single channel ABS operating on the front disc and that is obviously to improve braking control especially in slippery conditions when it is raining.
00:57And that is when your front end locks in if you brake hard and which is one of the main reasons for an accident during the rain especially with two wheelers.
01:06Now if we talk about the prices of both the variants as I mentioned the 125 Ride Connect ABS variant is priced at Rs. 92,328 while the Ride Connect TFT ABS edition costs around Rs. 98,378 which is slightly expensive.
01:21You get a few other things rather than the starting variant of this scooter.
01:24Now the big difference between this is the AXS 125 comes in the form of an instrument cluster which is used for connectivity functions.
01:30As I told you that the expensive variant gets this new feature.
01:34Now let's talk about the AXS 125 Ride Connect ABS edition.
01:37It uses a digital LCD console that displays speed, fuel, trip information and smartphone connectivity data through Suzuki's Ride Connect app.
01:46Now this trim level is offered in five color options.
01:51You have metallic and matte both options with this.
01:54Now let's come to the bigger variant that is the AXS 125 Ride Connect TFT ABS edition.
01:59Now this gets a TFT instrument console that supports Bluetooth pairing and shows call alerts, message notification, navigation prompts and ride statistics directly on the screen to the rider.
02:10If we talk about the engine on the scooter.
02:12Now it gets the same 124 cc air cooled single cylinder petrol engine that produces 8.42 PS of power and 10.2 Nm of peak torque.
02:21And it continues to be paired to a CVT automatic transmission.
02:24That means that the engine has not been touched.
02:27It's the overall other features and some color options that have been given to the new AXS 125 ABS edition.
02:33Other mechanical hardwares including the frame suspension braking obviously as I mentioned remains the same.
02:40It gets telescopic front forks and rear monoshock setup while you get a disc setup at the front that obviously has that ABS option.
02:48And the rear setup is a drum brake.
02:50Now other equipments on the AXS 125 ABS such as the LED lighting, the external fuel filler access cap and under seat storage continues to remain the same as the previous generation or the regular AXS 125.
03:02So yes guys this was the all new AXS 125 ABS edition that has been launched in India.
03:08And now we have told you everything you needed to know about this scooter.
