00:00I have two daughters that are 12 years apart, and my first daughter always wanted straight hair, and she had straight hair, and she loves her hair when she's very pretty, but I've always liked natural hair, and so it's nice to have my second daughter to be able to teach her how pretty her natural self is.
00:30I like products that keep her hair moist and moisturized without being sticky or greasy. I like things that make it easier for me to comb through, that are good to tangle her, but not a lot more.
00:59With not a lot of alcohol in it, because it dries it out.
01:09So, sometimes when doing those hair, it takes two of us.
01:13She is very active, and she doesn't necessarily want to sit still and get her hair done, so it takes one person to distract her.
01:21We'll pull up our games on our phones, and she can play that, or a movie on Netflix, and she can watch that.
01:29Sometimes she just wants someone to hug her, because combing through curls is not always fun.
01:35So, you know, as gentle as I can be, there's always going to be that one little piece that gets caught.
01:45I'm fixing your hair. What are you doing?
01:48Well, I'm fixing my hair.
