00:17So Jackie Aina has came out with her latest highlighter collection so y'all know we had to try it.
00:22There are two different colors you can buy them separately or you can buy this cute little package
00:27and get them together. This is $55. There's La Peach and La Bronze. I assume I'm La Peach.
00:34I am a product packaging just I'm a geek about it and so I'm just like oh my gosh it's metallic
00:40and it glows and that's so on trend and look at how fancy it is even though I'm gonna recycle it.
00:45Not sure how La Bronze is gonna work on me. I might end up using it as a bronzer because
00:50many times even the lightest highlighters are a little too dark for me.
00:54So I actually am afraid of highlighters. I'm afraid of this video right now because my skin is dry
01:03and it's oily and I'm breaking out most of the time. My goal usually is conceal, mattify, cover,
01:10and highlighter to me is like showing everything off. So this is the LeBron's. This is for darker skin
01:18tones but girl I'm gonna try it anyway. This is also probably good for contouring so let's check it
01:23out. You guys are gonna laugh when you see me put this on because I'm still very much you know
01:27like that little girl who's playing in mom's makeup. That's that's the color and that's the perfect
01:33highlight for someone like 20 shades darker than me. It's beautiful. This one to me kind of blends in.
01:41Obviously I'm going for you know those trending warm eyeshadows that are happening right now and
01:47LeBron's actually goes with that really well. See this is how I would actually go out though.
01:53I would leave it like this. I really would but I guess for the sake of how this is actually meant
01:58to be judged let me try and blend it. I'm gonna use it as an eyeshadow. It brings out the green in
02:03my eyes really okay seriously I'm gonna steal this for an eyeshadow. Look at that! It's giving me um beachy sunburnt
02:10glow and isn't that how all of us want to look at the end of the day. I look like I just crushed a
02:16new penny over my face a little bit. It's bringing out all my cinnamoniness. LeBron's. I'm LeN. I
02:24love like it. Okay I'm gonna stop that. Usually how I do loose powders is I don't um they scare me
02:30but today I'm doing it because Jackie told me to so. Okay so this is the LePeach. Oh lord oh Jesus oh
02:41oh I already like this. It's a little too dark for my skin. It's too dark for like IRL
02:47wearing but it's giving me a definite glow. If I was like two shades darker this would be the perfect
02:52highlight. So we're just gonna call this um a sun kissed look. I'm getting that youtuber like
02:59I think it's showing up on camera. Uh where else do the youtubers put it? There. I'm gonna put it on
03:04my cupid's bow. That actually works a lot better than I thought it would because one of the mistakes I
03:09made was getting a highlighter that was just like a straight up light pink that it totally didn't
03:14work for me. It just made me look like a shiny kind of ashy but this brings in that kind of
03:20light glow. It's actually really subtle. I'm going for this one y'all but now I want to try them
03:26together. Ooh that combo though. That is like the ultimate glow I was looking for. It's actually so
03:33much better than I thought it was going to be. Lebron's I think it can work for lighter skin tones
03:38as well as La Peach. If I had to buy one or the other because I can't get them both I do have to
03:43choose. I would probably go with the La Peach because I am experimenting with looking a little
03:48bit more girly and this I like how sparkly and how how light it is. That's just fun for me. So these are
03:54what I normally highlight with and this is the La Peach. Ghost people it's not made for you. Use it as an
03:59eyeshadow and everything will be fine. My two favorite highlighters is the Fenty Match Stick
04:06in Rum and then the MAC Gold Dust or something like that but these are loose powder so that was
04:12kind of different for me because I prefer more of like a solid powder but I actually really like the
04:17combo but I don't know if I would pay $55. Not even gonna lie. For $55 I'm probably not gonna buy these.
04:26Right now what I use as my highlighter is just the shimmery eyeshadow that comes in the eyeshadow
04:33palettes. You know there's always some sort of bronze or gold color. I don't spend any extra money
04:39on highlighters so I'm probably just gonna keep doing that. I probably wouldn't buy both. I think
04:43I'd go with the La Peach like I said but it wouldn't hurt to have both you know later on down the line
04:48by which time Jackie will be president probably so. I personally wouldn't invest in these just because
04:55they're not my color. If she made an eyeshadow palette out of these colors I would buy the
05:02crap out of that. But I do think that these look amazing on other people especially if you are
05:08darker complected like the LeBron's is gonna make you glow for the gods. You're gonna look like a glazed
