Transcript
00:00So most of my spring breaks just consisted of really great girlfriends, bonding times, lots of alcohol, but not too much.
00:08Hi Naturally Curly World, I'm Leslie.
00:10I'm Grace.
00:11I'm Kiana, and this is the best ever, the best ever, the best ever spring break destinations.
00:18So I have a few favorite spring break destinations, mostly because I think it's not really about the destination, but who you're with.
00:25I love spring breaks that are girls trips.
00:28My favorite place to go during spring break is South by Southwest here in Austin.
00:34When I went to New Orleans, I just went with one friend, my cousin Katie, and it was just the two of us, and we got like really good food, and then we went out.
00:42So in college, I would drive up to Austin, and I would stay with one of my girlfriends, and we would volunteer, so we would get a badge, and then we would just stay up all night.
00:53It was like a late spring break in May. I went with four of my best friends, and we went to Portland and Seattle.
00:59The bars don't close until like really, really late, and it was just so, so, so much fun.
01:03We just walked around, ate our way through the cities, went to parks, sunbathed.
01:10For those of you that don't live in Austin, don't come.
01:12South by Southwest is always really fun. I went with like two best friends from back home.
01:17The lines are really long. You probably won't enjoy it because you can't get in anywhere.
01:21We saw, you know, live music, got taco truck food, and then went out on 6th Street, which is what you do in Austin.
01:28So you know what? You just stay home, and you let us enjoy it, and you can live through our photos and through our Instagram videos, and just let us have the good time, and y'all can go to spring break or wherever else you go.
01:38I've also gone to Charleston on a girls' trip with my mom and my aunt. It's a different vibe.
01:44And then when I went to South Padre Island, that was really fun because I went with three really good friends.
01:49We just got along so well, and we had so much fun, and we didn't go with any guys, which was like a really fun and good decision that we made.
01:56So we would volunteer from like 7 a.m. to maybe like 7 p.m., or like 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and then we would go to all the shows like immediately after.
02:06Charleston is an amazing city. It's super historical. It's actually the most historically preserved city in the United States.
02:12Looking back, I don't know how I did it. I was running on zero sleep. I met a lot of really great people, but I would come back needing a break from spring break.
02:23Girls' trips all the way, and then South by Southwest, but don't come here for that. We don't want you.
02:30So what are your favorite spring break destinations? Let us know in the comments below.
